Could you maybe show me a performance that showcases some of her best vocals? I would be really interested. Because the VMAJ one was all over the place even though the songs are extremely easy. That Hey!Hey!Hey! performance is already quite a bit better, but it's a very easy song, too, so it doesn't really showcase vocals. It seems she sticks to the A4-C5 belting range mainly, too. :/

I wouldn't say it's such an easy song, it has a lot to do with breathing, even though it limits Miliyah's vocals a bit. But she's a bit limited to begin with lol

She doesn"t do a lot of TV lives, but she's done a lot of festivals so if you wanna see more (when she dances esp) just ask or go through Youku, you'll be able to see most of them :) She's certainly not the best vocalist but I just love her tone! |
I'm new to her, so I don't have a favorite era yet :) Thanks a lot for those links, I'm gonna watch them tomorrow after school :) Her tone definitely IS beautiful! I could listen to AIAIAI on repeat just for her stunning tone in the verses.

I've always thought she was really good live, but that's just me. She sometimes hits a bad note, but I don't think that any singer is perfect. Plus, her voice is unique and she has stage presence, so I can't complain.

Lmao random thing about Mika, I went to see Resident Evil yesterday and I was expecting her to be in it for a while, but then she showed up as an evil japanese zombie for like 2-3 minutes and gets killed in a gorey way by the main character XD lmfao so random!!! SOO SOO RANDOM! why would she be in that movie?

^ The first MV video, I thoguht the song was really bad because Wakadanna's vocals and then Miliyah's version just kind of popped into the song out of now where (almost). Then I watched the second video and that wasn't so bad...

I'd say she's quite known. Most teenagers and people in their 20s/early 30s should def at least know who she is.

Most people know who she is. When Aitai came out most people would have known that song as well. Her main demographic is girls in their twenties, same age as her.
Recently she hasn't really had a hit. But perhaps Lovers will be well received? |

^ Her only currently released tour on blu-ray is the HEAVEN tour, and then the upcoming M BEST one. I personally loved the HEAVEN tour :love but I'd prolly wait until the final tracklist for the M BEST tour is out you might like it better.

Well, besides the "so unfashionable its fashionable" clothing that plagued this PV, I really liked both the song and the PV. The song was great and I do love the overall vibe of the video. Not too serious, and this is the most I think I can ever recall seeing Miliyah smile :P
