I'm loving the Missing PV so far and I think she looks so pretty with the dark long hair in Song 4 u!! Although I hope there is more action in that one as the song progresses

Missing is not my cup of tea, but I LOVE how professional it looks. The body floating concept is very touching. Finaly her "calmer" video looks very pro. She looks gorgeous.

Totally agree with you! I think that the "Missing" PV is something that would connect well with the general public due to its more low-key nature, whereas "Song 4 u" is the exploration of her artistic side.

I got chills when the water droplets started during Missing.

Both of the videos look fantastic and wonderfully done. I'm so excited for the full versions!

Also, did anyone else hear hints of Japanese instruments starting towards the end of the Missing preview?

Her hair is so gorgeous in that red/black/dark shade. I'm really excited to see the rest of the PVs.

If this is Masashi Muto, the Song 4 u effect reminds me of his work on Kelly Rowland's Commander a bit.

Yes, I believe that I heard some use of the shakuhachi in Missing's instrumentation! And possibly the koto...but the timbre of string sounds can also be imitated by other instruments...

i'm not sure about missing pv... am i the only one who gets Nishino Kana's "Always" wibe there??....um it's visually beautiful and all, but i'm not buying it...yet... as for song4you: i LOVE the concept, that's creative and woha so many AYU's..tho they are missing the kings there lol i'm lovein both of the songs tho!

Song 4 u much better than I remember the Tales version being. God that was boring... But this one, is nice. I hope I am not let down as it goes on. PV quality is GREAT!

Missing... kind of got my hopes up for that one a bit. Not a huge letdown but I was expecting more. I wanted her to belt it out during the course. To keep rising in melody instead of dipping down (for example when she says "ne..." it goes down instead of using the same note or higher as "ii").

She's coming.

missing sounds so plain and boring, particularly the chorus.... but I give props to the music video for being artsy, I though the scenery was beautiful.

Missing....Finally a more professional MV although she looks a bit old with the pale complexion going on.

Returning to her traditional style, love it! S4U sounds so much stronger and more mature than the other version. It sounds like it could be a different recording instead of simply one version being longer than the other.

Interesting you mention this, I was just thinking to myself that the coloring of the video for "Song 4 u" reminds me a bit of "Sexy little things", which was also drawn from McQueen a bit.

I really like the Song 4 u PV so far.

To be honest, the Missing PV does nothing for me so far.
I think that Melody would have suited that atmosphere more.
I think Missing would have suited something similar to rainy day, or momentum's PV more so.

Still, they have both totally exceeded by expectations so far. :D

who's the arranger for Missing? sounds like HAL. i love the arrangement but still not very fond with her vocal

Neither PV really looks that impressive. :( They are pretty looking, but don't seem to have much going on. At least Song for U has somewhat of an interesting concept though.

Loving the concept so far for song 4 u. The song is great too. Wonder how it will end.

Missing sounds like a mash up of ballad, momentum and voyage. While its a nice track, it just feels like she's done this kind of song so many times. Hopefully the PV builds up in its 2nd half as well.

To be fair though, those were 2009, 2006, and 2002 respectively. It's not like she's had one every year, right?

I guess there's a slight difference in the somewhat electronic-sounding production in the chorus. But is it so hard for her to choose a more interesting composition? The composer is Kazuhiro Hara, he's done far better tracks than this.

man i thought she got it just randomly....ok the creativity level now dropped, it's the second time she used something from fashion industry....Ayu, you need a new team, but this time i will forgive you, since i absolutelly adore Alexander McQueen and his works (even tho he's dead he has a great team to continue his vision). at least you've chosen the genius :P

Missing sounds very refreshing imo, song 4 u sounds a million times more generic, talking about ayu.

True, song 4 u draws from progress, mirrorcle world, but i'm a sucker for her epic-rock-and-strings tracks. Missing is far more generic sounding to me.

I just hope she makes more stuff like what was on Love songs for this 15th anniversary celebration - nostalgic, but still refreshing and current. That is the kind of music she needs to be making now.

To be fair, I believe this chess thing has been done by MANY people before even McQueen, haha.

When I first heard chess, I was reminded of kuu's ESCALATE lol! Ayu's wan looks so edgy and high fashion!!! Love the monochromatic theme a lot :) ayu looks fantastic too and ahh just find it so cool. But I might die nothing else happens except her memorising her steps.

MIssing is beautiful :) I personally love the minimalistic colours. Levitation is cool but I hope it aims at something. Being a standalone outdoor PV makes it so special

I think her PVs made in Japan usually are better than the overseas PVs..
Her team here, and the technical background is better, imo.

I have this weird opinion.

I think Missing PV is more for her old song BALLAD and BALLAD PV is more for her song Missing.

Missing was so boring. If I wanted to see Ayu walk, I'd watch mirrorcle world. Song's okay though. So glad they used the harp. And the piano in the chorus! PIANO! Ah. I'm here for the midsection having violin. Please Ayu. It'll be the best thing ever.

As for Song 4 u, I take everything back. If this song wasn't on the album, it'd be a MASSIVE disappointment for me.

The PV for "Missing" looks... okay... I hope it gets more interesting during the rest of the video, the scenery is wonderful but ayu is making her weird face again. Not feeling those braids either... The song is nice though !

I hope its really just more than her just moving to squares and eliminating herself. Yes a great deal of effort on her part. is the director Masashi Muto, because I notice lots of elements from the PV that feel like its by him. The conceptual route, the fashion style (reminiscent of SLT, Microphone, Ladies Night) and the mere side profile shots of Ayu, which is apparent in quite a few of his works (You were..., crossroad, progress)
