'LOVE' mini album out November 8th, 1st of five 15th anniversary releases [IV]

As usual, please try to post any new information here and I will add it to the first post.

Key points for now:
- Celebrating months leading up to 15th anniversary, 5 months of releases
- First part is the mini album LOVE that is coming out 11/8/12
- mini album has 3 new songs and 12 tracks
- Songs are Song 4 u [composed by Yuta Nakano/HINATAspring], Melody [composed by Yasuhiko Hoshino], and Missing [composed by Kazuhiro Hara]
- Melody is a medium ballad, Missing is a medium rock flavored tune overflowing with pain/sadness
- every month on the 8th day of the month until the 15th anniversary, something new will be released (NOT necessarily all mini albums) on 11/8, 12/8, 1/8, 2/8, and 3/8.

any word on how Tales of Xillia 2 is selling? If it even comes close to matching the success of the first game then that is potentially great news for LOVE

the PV for "Song 4 U" was great...but I was hoping it would be like "RAINBOW" PV....that PV was AWESOMEEEEEE!!!! More physical contact than in Song 4 U.

I love song 4 u, is amazing!!!!!

News will come later this week/next week. Sales are generally announced on Wednesday.

Apparently, the third release won't be a mini-album according to a source in China. :no

That was -never- announced. She said she had a lot of music for people though.

Apparently, that Chinese inside source (they also knew that again was coming since it was the same price as LOVE) has a grasp on how high/low the pricing is for the next release, and it looks like it could be something that ISN'T the same size as LOVE aka a mini. (which means 2900yen+ or 1000yen~ as opposed to 1500yen)

We could get A WINTER BEST.... oi... or even a new single?

The cd+dvd case is not the same :S I think maybe is because is the 15th anniversary release and they changed to a normal cd case.

I think they tag songs like whenever there are remixes on the same disc, not only when it is a single

only a matter of days. i always get my stuff from CDJapan on the release date. :yes

Sometimes you can get it the day before the actual release date via EMS if they ship early enough!

Mine was shipped too.

Should have ordered CD Only w/Ayu's face on the cover, why did I order Xillia version. It's not Limited or anything. I could have bought it later. Ugh too late...

You can sell the Xillia 2 edition to people who want the DLC that's on it, haha.

If you choose Airmail or SAL at CDJapan, you may get it 4-8 days after release since it's not as speedy. I tend to use Airmail and SAL and it usually takes about a week after the Japanese release date for me to get things.

I think Melody is really boring, but the lyrics are really nice, better than Song 4 u and Missing IMO

I think oricon said they were counting it as a 11/14 release date...
but it was on the nikki for 11/7... so i really have no idea what they are planning to do...

if they plan to count it in its 2nd week and forget the first week all together... then we might not even be looking at a top 5 album.

LOVE will be counted as a 7th November released. It's already tracked by jbook.
So it will have normal week starting this week.

Won't they count the sales from its release date, and it chart missing one day of sales it would have gotten had it come out on Wednesday? On that basis, it has a good chance of getting #1. 6 out of 7 Oricon days will still be counted.

The oricon week is 7 days of sales added together. It doesn't make sense to skip the whole week and count those sales on the following Wednesday when it will have sales on 6 of those 7 days.

on jbook realtime ranking at the moment the CD+DVD version is #10 CD is #19 & ToX2 is #20.

Adding them up would bring to top 5 hopefully.

I'm satisfied with all the songs and thats all that matters I think.
Like with Angela Aki: you KNOW she won't do well but you still buy her stuff because you know her music is of good quality. Same with CK.

top 3 for sure,I can't think of any other releases that could snatch third safe YUKI but hers will get 30-50k max I think and ARASHI's second week sales (their last album had 67k for their second week)

anyway I read on this Tokyograph and SEASONS is ranked 27 as the song with most amount of royalties for the last 30 years

Actually they never said it was going to be a costume (Milla's not even a main character in ToX2 btw), they updated the official website with this :

It's called 歌姫ピアス so Utahime Pierce. Basically it's an earring for your characters. :laugh
A costume would've been cool but w/e, it's not like I'll be getting it... If the game is released in Europe I'm sure they won't even include it as DLC, I wish my characters could wear an A earring though !

Non-ayu fans probably won't be interested in it though, so it's kinda stupid lol...

I'm a bit shocked about JUJU's best albums actually. I can see that LOVE would get somewhere around 20k - 25k. On the other hand, I thought JUJU's best albums would sell at least 50K each on the first day.

Looks like ayu can battle JUJU if the sales doesn't drop that much tomorrow :D.
