As kinix said, Ayu just opened an official LINE account! If you don't know what LINE is:

Snoop Dogg, Kesha, AAA, and a few other celebs also have LINE accounts. You can change countries after installing and see them under "official accounts" for that said country. Ayu has accounts for the following:

-China
-Hong Kong
-Indonesia
-Japan
-Malaysia
-Singapore
-Taiwan
-Thailand

After I added her, I got this (originally in Japanese):

If you change your country, you can add Ayu's Singapore account and get her messages in English.

This reminds me that Junsu and Yoochun from DBSK/JYJ use LINE! Junsu posted a screencap from their convo a little bit ago. They must have private accounts cuz they're not under Korea's official ones. I was wondering what it was. It's pretty cool!

i've added ayu and since i'm from indonesia, the auto-messages from ayu are all in indonesian. cool.

can we choose which account to add? i mean when i added her, it automatically sent me messages in Malay. I am in Malaysia but i'd like to change it to English/Taiwanese.

I added the Singapore account and it was in English, so I changed the message in the OP.

She has 8 accounts total across Asia, one for each country.

^^ In the Official Accounts tab, click on "Select another country" and you can select Taiwan from it.

So that's why you (Tasking) were all "OPEN A LINE ACCOUNT." :laugh

How to use LINE on a PC...??

I dont understand the purpose of LINE but cool!

Install LINE on your phone/iPod whatever and register, then you'll see "official accounts" under "more." Change the country to Japan (or Singapore if you want messages in English) and then you'll see her.

You have to register on your device first, then you can use the PC app.

I saw this yesterday when I logged on after not having been on LINE for a while. It was quite a surprise, but getting all the automated messages -_-... Its cool, but I know its not like one will be able to chat with Ayu you know?

I just added the singapore account so I can get english messages too.

Side note: I love how the K-pop groups are all in singapore but do not get listed in South Korea. LOL.

I'll probably sign up in a few days. Though I'm actually content just getting translated information on here..

If you want to get a reply from ayu, well, LINE isn't a good idea after all...but if you want to send messages to her...you'd better time it correctly!

So basically, no one will ever be able to chat with Ayu on LINE. :grumpy Meh, it was a cool idea, but with these restrictions it doesn't seem worth it. I've had LINE for a while. It doesn't tell you when someone is online like older, traditional messaging platforms do except when you get a push notification that you got a new message. So then would she announce being online or I wonder how that would work because knowing the correct time would be impossible right? lol

If you're aiming for a reply, messaging her on Twitter is more likely for her to reply on.

She might have access to the LINE account, but artists on LINE don't normally send the messages and updates themselves. There is a high chance she might not use it at all, since it's meant for her updates and not personal messages. Since she can't even reply individually to users, I am quite sure she won't use this herself, at least not often.

By default notifications for artists are turned off.
