Hey guys, I know I'm a little late and such but I first heard Lipstick yesterday and It's a really catchy song!
But I noticed that, when I listen to the song thru my earphones, seems like I can hear a kind of saxophone among the instruments, something that I can't hear if I'm listening the song on the radio or in my computer. Is it just me? |
^No, it's not. Some of us are having the same problem. When I play LIPSTICK on my cellphone or iPod (gen 5 with the microphone) I can't hear the saxophone.

Lizzy's voice is pretty impressive. I really liking her voice in this solo and Clara's dream in the O.C. album. I was hoping she would do some rapping in this solo project. Theyre still so cute haha I realized..OC's LIPSTICK is totally in the same vein as Ayu's LOVE again btw. They released Magic Girl and A~ing in the name of mini albums but songs from those all made it into LIPSTICK. (i still felt cheated at that time..but it was a good compilation of all their songs). So, well..I guess I shouldnt be so pissed about LOVE again. LOL..justsaying |
^Well Magic Girl was released in 2010 and LIPSTICK in 2012, so there's 2 years between the release of the mini album and the release of the full length album. And Shanghai Romance was released in 2011. While Ayu releases 2 mini albums and a full length album in 4 or 5 months.
And all the songs on LIPSTICK are all full length songs (new and old songs). I don't think all the new songs on LOVE again will be full lenght songs (I suppose it's safe to assume that task'n'bass will be an interlude). OC only included title tracks (and solo songs) on the LIPSTICK album while Ayu uses all the songs (of LOVE and again) on the new album... ... I'm just trying to find a way to cope with the release of LOVE again :scry ... Because it really feels like a slap in the face. And no offense to you freedreamer, not at all, I guess I'm just trying to say that in Ayu's case, you have every right to be pissed :laugh |
My copy of LIPSTICK/Lum no Love Song -finally- arrived and I got the Raina photocard again! I think I have four Raina photocards now. :laugh

Since After School hasn't released anything new in a while, I wanted to get your guys' opinions on something. Do you guys prefer After School's Korean album or Japanese album? Just curious; they're so different.

Honestly I think in Japan, they each sing more? Like in Virgin, Juyeon and Uie kinda only sang in Shampoo..which is really sad. But they've improved so I'm really looking forward. I hope they would have more songs AS A GROUP rather than have unit songs and solos that comprise most of the album.
I think I'm looking forward to their Korean album more. I think they really NEED a Japanese single soon. its been 6 months and they havent really used KaEun's ability for the Japanese market, which was their intention when they added her. Kinda ironic. |

i dun really like the idea how AS's comeback keeps getting delayed. I understand Pledis wants them to branch out so that they would have something to do when they graduate and stuff but not focusing on music is also a bad thing. I tihnk they gotta find a balance. AS is definitely not at the stage where they can have 1 comeback per year...since their popularity really doesnt feel THAT high. but seeing how Flashback did, honestly, if they appeared more on MUSIC shows, they could really get somewhere big in 2013. I think 2013 will be the birth of a new subunit though...haha
