Help me choose songs for my wedding!
 

Hello! I'm getting married next month, February 16th! My fiance and I met through studying Japanese in college, so our wedding is going to have a lot of Japanese elements, including music. We are going to use Japanese songs for the major events at the wedding, and our DJ is also going mix Japanese songs into the playlists during the cocktail hour, the dinner, and the reception. We need to give him a flash drive with all the songs we want, and I was hoping to get some help choosing dance songs specifically.

Here's what I have so far:

Ceremony:
Wedding party entrance: Ayu - GREEN
Bride's entrance (me!): Utada Hikaru - Passion (at the loud bust of the first chorus, the lights are going to go up and I'm going to walk out! Dramatic!)
Recessional - Game of Thrones theme (this was my fiance's choice)

Reception:
Bridal party entrance: Namie Amuro - WILD
Bride & Groom entrance: Utada Hikaru - Hikari (this is also the song we are going to do our first dance to. We are taking dance lessons now!)
Cake cutting: Chocobo Theme from Final Fantasy (lol)

Just about any kind of song can be played in the background during the cocktail hour and reception, but I want to pick some serious dance tracks for the party portion of the reception! What songs really make you wanna dance?

Here's a few that I have in mind:

Namie Amuro - YEAH-Oh!, In The Spotlight (Tokyo), Hide & Seek, Want me Want Me
Koda Kumi - Escalate, Pop Diva, Ecstasy, Physical Thing, Get up and Move!
Wonder Girls (Korean, that's fine, lol): GNO
Ayu - help me out here! There are so many Ayu songs I like, but which ones do you think are really danceable?

Suggestions? I'll take any artist!

First of all, congrats! The wedding sounds lovely (especially that Passion part).

If you want to choose Ayu songs, you might have to go with remixes. I can see myself getting down to the Free & Easy "Wrap Brothers Single Mix".

2ndly , I know of a few Wedding themed inspired no.s that I really like but I'm not sure if you want me to suggest them to you ? :O or do you solely want songs that get you on your feet up to dance the night away ? :confused

Virgin Road IS THE WEDDING SONG lol

I know, haha! I did consider Virgin Road, but the way the song flows just doesn't fit as well for a processional as GREEN, imo. I also really like GREEN's instrumentals; they have a Japanesey flavor that would be nice for guests to hear as the first Japanese song of the night.

While thats definitely true, if i had to use japanese songs at my wedding, i would have to include Virgin Road, you know. Somewhere during the day.

That's what my fiance said, but the reality is that very few people in attendance have ever played those games (maybe 6 out of 110 people?) so I'm not worried about it, hehe.

I'm much more into Japanese music than my fiance is, and Passion and Hikari are two of the few songs that we both really love.

I find most of ayu's Original songs aren't that danceable. Obviously she has a ton of remixes to go through, but there are a few that come to mind you can try:

SEASONS "H-H remix" (NEVER EVER single) - this is the remix that plays right before the encore in ayu's concerts (with the dancing A symbol).
