Oh darn... So this is the last release of the five months. I really thought that I would not buy this after I went to the live... Well.

I liked the contents of the five releases... not sure why it'd be considered a 'joke' to be honest. They should reveal the bonus goods soon. Please don't be something you have to mail the cards in for, haha.

Singles+album+remix+dvd... This pattern was something normal 3 years ago (and they didn't trick you into buying "mini albums"). Her team and herself are getting so lazy and noncreative that they sell their crap like something amazing.
It's really time for a break.
And wait for A BEST 3 as the final release.
I'm eager to see what they are planning to do for her 20th anniversary...

I agree that these releases were a joke... they were disguise into something that to sell. Even 'for the fans' was a joke...
I will say I have enjoyed everything so far, its just the way that they were presented.

Also, this is her last release... there were 5, the DVD (huge joke, no new music what so ever) is the last one.

I would hope they release a SUPER Best or something on her 15 anny

How long was the concert from start to last encore track if anyone can recall? 3 hours sounds like there'll be some bonus footage on here.

but i do find that she is staggering her releases closer to her tour dates. I think she and avex make more money by selling the products their self's and this is why though.

It's not so much that, but the tours are ending around November or so every year now since she tours to like 30+ stops every year and there's another set of lives after a-nation whereas before 2007/2008, she would finish the tour in June or July before a-nation.

Unfortunately, with her recent albums coming out around December/springtime, the live DVDs also tend to follow which are released rather late, at least by her previous standards. POWER of MUSIC wasn't out until just before HOTEL Love songs started, iirc.

Of course I'm aware she wasn't releasing things so fast in the past.
What was I expecting? Something a bit original or surprising to celebrate this anniversary. I really don't care having the same material as usual but within 5 months.
The only interesting thing is A Classical (I don't enjoy it but that's not the problem). The rest is a lame attempt to create a celebration at the last minute while sending thank you messages to the loyal fans.

I'm not blowing it out of proportion. Her marketing team is. I'm also not expecting five albums in a row considering the creativity of her last full albums imo.

I'm happy to watch this live on blu ray anyway.

I would love if she had done the same as european metal band Within Temptation have done in their 15th anniversary too. During 15 weeks, each friday, they covered a song from different artists with different styles (Lana Del Rey, David Guetta, Adele...). They converted each song into their metal style and played on the radio... free. And the day of their anniversary they made a huge and special concert.

I think it's something more special and a real gift for fans than selling 5 consecutives and expensive releases with a poor and ridiculous marketing strategy. We all know Avex only wants money and money and money but... c'mon... Ayu needs to wake up seriously. No offense :P

I'm always waiting for the arena tour live DVD since its the first Ayu concert I have ever attended ^^ hope the cover is nice!! Can't wait :p

Her marketing team was pretty upfront about what this would be. Five releases in five months. That's about it.

I feel like anniversary celebrations can vary depending on the artist themselves. If Ayu wanted to do something like that, she probably could, but... I don't think that type of thing is very 'her' at all.

Her anniversary has also not even happened yet so I'm looking forward to the rest of the year to see what she has in store for her actual anniversary year!

This won't be the last release we receive this year. It's the same mentality that people claim Avex have in their arguments against releases; they're greedy! As if they're going to miss out on an opportunity like a 15th anniversary. xD

I've always seen them as kind of 'closing' an era and opening a new one!

5-releases-for-5-months itself I think is a nice stunt leading to her anniversary. As for contents, I think I remembered someone saying from the beginning that there's no guarantee for all 5 to be all mini albums/new songs/singles/albums/sperm whales/asteroids, so I never expected 5 new-song releases. This final release being a DVD is not uncalled for; everything's been true to her pattern since November (single ("mini album") - single ("mini album") - album - remix album - DVD), the 5-for-5-months is just a way to make things interesting. And it -has- been so indeed.

I have to say I -did- kind of expect the final release to be extra grandeur (being the "final" and everything), but if I knew avex and ayu, I didn't think it was possible. Then again, this might very well *not* be the final release: there might be something prepared for April 8. Or not. You never knew.

i hope we get A Best 3 and it be like the BIGGEST thing this year...

As part of her 10th anniversary year we had Mirrorcle World, A Complete and Days/GREEN so maybe we'll have more things this year too. I hope so :)

You're right. But you can't blame people waiting for something original to celebrate an anniversary and being deceived in the end.

It's a very nice start to the 15th anniversary year imo. I was horribly disappointed with Ayu's 10th anniversary when it started, but she made up for it eventually.

I agree. I know I'm quite surprised...but I'm quite disappointed about it, had I may have been more of an Ayu fan. But since I have to balance my Japanese pop interests with other artists (miwa, Sayuri Sugawara, AKB48, and even Yanawaraba...), I'm not really in much of an interest with Ayu today compared to, say, five or six years ago (remember Asia Tour 2007?)...

Yeah, we've got to deal with it. They want some variety, we have to settle with it. Two mini albums, a special classical album, a new studio album and a live concert tour DVD...that's quite a variety.

I'm pretty happy with this coming out. I think the "special" part of this 15th anniversary release is that we're getting 5 things in 5 months. Is it for fans? IMO, sure. Rather than have fans wait many months for singles after singles (in this case mini albums), they release something every month. I think that's pretty special even though it's killing our wallets at the same time.

As the anniversary hasn't started yet I expect something like A BEST 3 and a tour à la Rock 'n' Roll Circus covering her most famous songs. I will be happy with this (this and more promo damn it!).

I think this was the most predictable of the five releases, other than LOVE and again being combined. Ah well. I'm rather excited for this. I went to the 14th anniversary concert, and the final was much different, so I'm excited to see the changes. It may not include "new" songs (other than the one she did with Kishidan) but this is new material and I'm always excited for new Ayu materials.

I enjoyed the 5 releases ( Don't have the new album yet or the Dvd of course ) But overall it's G00D~ The first 2 releases shouldn't of been called mini albums That's all. Because there were remixes and instrumentals - thus in my opinion making them singles. Other than that I overly enjoyed the Classical album ~ and now a new album which I get everyone's problem but hey ~ It's not my problem ~ It doesn't bother me any - purchase what you want ~ and the same goes for me

I think getting new music is quite nice if you ask me - considering in 2011 all we got was Five which don't get me wrong I enjoyed it ~ but it was only 1 release, followed by remix albums and Party Queen ( And I'm still split on Party Queen, some songs I enjoy, others still haven't grown on me ) So these new releases have really raised any doubt of what I figured would be following Party Queen tbh

I don't really get why some people are overly dramatic with these releases. She stated that these are 5 releases in 5 months, she didn't stated that all of these are albums (that's too much even for Ayu)~

I am quite happy with these releases tbh... Other than calling the singles as mini-albums, I think that this anniversary releases are much better compared to what they've given us for her 10th Anniversary. 2 singles, a classical album, 14th album and a concert DVD... I think that this is a good deal IMO~

I know that this is "for the fans" but they never really forced people to buy her stuff, so I don't get why some people complain here about their money :l

Some of the fans here are a little bit spoiled with their ridiculous expectations... She's half-deaf, overworked and has a "successful" lovelife... I don't think she needs a bunch of whiny fans for the time being ^^

Although, generally I don't buy her DVDs. I used to, but not now. So it sucks that I have to buy it just for the card. I'll be buying from Amazon though, it's much cheaper than TA.

I didn't even really like this tour lol. It was ok. Maybe I'll buy it and then sell it at a resale shop for about 2000-3000 yen. That way I'd get it for even cheaper lol.

This was expected actually. I like this :3 I'm just not sure if I'll be able to buy it on the release date, but as it's not a CD there's no rush... Maybe if they anounce what will be the surprise for those who buy all 5 releases and if it's something that will not be only for those who live in Japan I'll try to buy it on time, as I did buy all other 4 releases...

I usually only get the OS presses of her tours, so even though I've got 4/5 serial cards I'm not really sure if getting the 5th is worth 3-4 times the OS press price =|

I was really hoping for a cover album from other avex artists or something, or a b-sides collection to continue the "new music" theme, but the tour is all "old music" =|

And I don't see what is so celebratory and gifty about something that we were inevitably going to get this year regardless of anniversary or not...

I attended to HLS and can't wait to enjoy Return Road again!

What? Was Return Road not performed during the final leg(s) of the tour? If not, then wouldn't that have been preposterous? I mean, it's Return Road, one of the defining moments (if not the only one) of the overly-stretched-out mediocre-looking tour! God I hope this isn't true and Return Road is in fact on the DVD/BD. I've been looking forward to hearing it live since I saw the footages of the early shows. I don't think my t!ts would know how to keep calm if the song is absent.

I've prefered if these 5 release were just 5 singles with 1 or 2 songs, with good PV's, good covers and some kind of bonus like a virtual ayupan (like Party Queen one) or something else.

Or 4 singles and then an Album with them.

A classical could be extra stuff for these singles (with new vocals as 10th anniversary versions)

HLS DVD could be extra stuff in the album as Party Queen.

That would be the same things we're getting now but it wouldn't be a joke like TeamAyu2004 said, it would be better than this way of celebrating her anniversary...
