Relating to the conversation in the last thread, I also agree that Ayu and the band is a helluva lot better than all the effects and dancers.
Honestly, everything just looks flowery since the MY STORY tour. She's Ayumi Hamasaki. Her stage presence completely overrides anything else she may try to integrate to make her concerts more overindulgent. I can't wait for the day where it's just her on stage again. |
I think as long as she still sing and do concerts like this, I am happy. as long as she can still perform her songs excellent. it's the queen we're talking about here haha

Finally some costume pictures! Wow she looks so cute <3
I like most of the costumes, but I think they somehow don't seem -glamorous- enough. You know, it's the 15th Anniversary and all, I kind of expected some 'glam'. These kind of look like CDL costumes (not that they're of less quality, it's just they could've been glam-er). Still, what matters most is that she looks good with the hair and getup. I LIKE. And thank you, cucumber, for the recording! :) |
IMO, these early release pictures of the costumes always doesn't justify the real deal. They alwayd looks nicer in the dvd/blu ray. I'll be anticipating the video ^^

I do prefer the club like concerts for Ayu too, maybe because for the 'fancy show' I'd still prefer Koda Kumi or BIG BANG

Question for those of you who have been to this concert: about how long was it? I'm debating between going to a show in Kobe and going to one in Osaka, and one of the deciding factors will probably be if I have to stay in the city over night or not (I live about 1 hour from Kobe and an hour and a half from Osaka).
AAAH!!! The tickets for those venues go on sale this Sunday! I'm so excited (and will be SOOOO crushed if they are sold out before I can get them!)!! |
i just don't understand why she didn't end the concert with Ivy! it's so touching and i got shivered even when i have no idea of its meaning on the first listen ! i mean Who... and MY ALL 're both gorgeous songs but she has sung them thousand times@@! and i feel like this song is written for all these public stunts happened to her especially this part:
"Am I still being hated? Am I still not forgiven? Am I still misunderstood? Will I be trusted again?" |
Ok, so if it's written about what people thought of her after all the stunts, which neither her or Avex will admit to yet. Why would she want to sing a nightly reminder of that. Plus for this tour, Ivy would need more votes than the song she is finishing with, and I don't think anything from LOVE AGAIN was that highly voted for, a few reached top 50 & her managers won't let new songs be entirely left out of a setlist but I don't think anything new is as well liked as the old favorites. Partially due to the last 3 years songs almost all being connected in some way to the stunts of the last 3 years.

Don't know why but somehow i knew that u'd jump in when i said "public stunt"!^^! but i don't want to get in a debate so i'd re-state that "i want her to sing "Ivy" and it's just a wish from a person who love this song to death"

I don't want a debate either. It comes down to only certain songs are considered for finishing concerts and they probably chose from that small group of songs, the one with the most fan votes.

I do wish she'd lay off the amount of people on stage, but I don't necessarily want her to tone-down the tour image and just take a seat a la the encore segment. Ayu is an AMAZING performer. She needs to PERFORM. I am utterly obsessed with the R'n'R Circus tour and to think of her doing anything less brilliant just doesn't sound very entertaining to me.

She sung SAKURA so GORGEOUSLY OMGOSH!!!! she sung the verses so well and the chorus...wow, u can feel her emotion so much better in the live and it adds so SO much to the song. Perfect. |

What would really satisfy me is Ayu singing different songs (in the encore like she did with YOU / Seasons) and them have them ALL in the DVD, that way the 20 song concert may actually turn into ~40 song concert. Unfortunately she doesn't have the UHD cameras in normal concerts so the songs would be in worse quality like in POM but still it would be a good idea.

^ I think they can still be of decent quality. Just like the 3rd disc contents of AT05/06/08/09/10~
With PoM, I guess there weren't any intentions to include shows other than LIMITED EDITION therefore the bad quality. But with this I think maybe there's a chance? Something like the ones from AT08, just that it isn't in the MC section. |

The setlist still acceptable~ but i really do prefer she perform more NEW SONGS. Both of her 'LOVE' album was not fully perform.... The album Lovesongs was not fully perform due to the tsunami. And now Loveagain was another one of her best album but sadly, to celebrate her 15th anniversary those good songs like Ivy,petal were sacrificed again~ such a waste~ :(

When I was waiting for the goods (again), we can hear the rehearsals through a door and I heard Ayu singing Wake me up, a Capella, it was just magic ! ! !
And she also sang Sakura, she made me cry... But I did'nt hear the encore part so... we will tell you tonight ! |

Well, when we heard the rehearsal, it was around 2pm !
About the tracklist, the same than the second day of Saitama and, bad surprise, but Sakura was not more emotional thet the concert before... Maybe she practice a lot on her selfcontrol... About the outfit, Ayu still has a problem for walking with her big white dress and for some outfit, she changed her hair style (ponytail for the schoolgirl outfit for example) And I think that the outfit for You & me was different ! But need to be confirmed ! |

The setlist was predictable, but it's great nonetheless! The opening seems AMAZING!!! *O* Just SURREAL~evolution~SURREAL that I could live without, but apparently she really likes mixing those two songs :( And I really want some of those goods, they're super cute!! |
