Are you excited for a new summer single/song?
 

Although I don't think I would place many, and perhaps not any at all, of Ayu's summer songs/singles in my top 10 or 20 "FAVORITES", I really do enjoy them! I live for music according to weather patterns and so I hope she releases another one this year... She can only improve over last year's letdown You & Me, and I hope she doesn't wait until August to release the "summer" hit (although that's how it seems to go in Japan). What do you guys think? Will she/won't she, and are you looking forward to it/hoping for it?

And last year's summer release was such a huge surprise (especially after seeing in live!) ! !

So... I can't wait for Ayu to offer us a great new song ! ^^

I absolute LOVE summer songs, like I love winter songs, I just long for trademark seasons songs. That's probably why I loved so much You & Me, finally an Ayu summer track after all that time <3

If and only if ayu fails to even provide any summer single, other artists are planning to offer the goods.

You & Me was good.

But we have more of a chance for her next album to sell 500,000 copies than to get a new single of any kind.

As long as the summer single is creative and unique and not recycled garbage like You& Me i'm happy

Honestly I didn't like You & Me at first, but now I surprisingly like it!
It's strange how I like everything ayu does, though it's not my musical genre~ :laugh

Wow I didn't know You & Me was liked so much, lol. I adored Sunrise so You & Me was just so boring and the production / arrangement was so cheap. I can only listen to the remo-con remix - it breathes life into the song.

Hell yes! I hope she does one! Another H or & would be spectacular! In terms of the single being a triple a-side and having a really typical upbeat summer song, a heart-wrenching ballad, and a medium ballad. AND REMIXES! AND ayu trance 5! haha that's my wish.

Honestly I want something like Wake me up for a summer song. (I think they should have releases that on A SUMMER BEST, than You & Me)

I always looking forward her summer single because I feel weird if I don't have a cheery poppy summer single from her. I don't want another You & Me though, it reeks We Found Love, I want her to have another STEP you, INSPIRE or fairyland. A poppish BLUE BIRD/glitter clone is also fine as well as laid back pop like Greatful days!

Another triple A-side or Maxi Single wouldn't hurt :yes something like this maybe?

I'm not really that much excited...unless it's really the 51st single - it has been ALMOST THREE YEARS we had an ACTUAL single - we've only had mini-albums and albums, NOT SINGLES!!!

I long for that! Hopefully in july this year so we can enjoy the summer song for a longer time

Yes. I lurk dairly on AHS, hoping for new announchements. And I do like her summer songs. You & Me was likeable! Would love to have another song like that one, or a baby-sister of HANABI or BLUE BIRD.

You & Me was epic as hell. I want more catchy dance songs like that♥

Not really, I get the impression Ayu doesn't really care about her career/commercial success or whatever so I really don't. I don't care for her summer singles/songs that much but I'm always happy to see them do well but I'm not really hopeful for anything she might release because whatever she releases..she just releases and lets die without promoting or a care.

For ayu trance 5 I would like the DJs to create more progressive, more atmospheric, dreamy trance again. ayu trance 4 had a very classic trance tune on it but a few of the songs were poorly driven by the instrumentals, especially "YOU" and "Endless sorrow" which partially even bored me. However, "Far away" as the strongest remix of the entire album turned out to be one of Ayu's most precious official trance remixes; at least that's what I feel.

So to find my way back to the threads' actual topic I can frankly state the pleasure that would overcome me in case of a new single (after almost three years) not to mention the collusion that would happen between my head and the ceiling if there was an ayu trance announcement in the near future...

I mean, I guess it would be nice, but I kinda don't really expect much from her tbh. Not in the way like, even if she releases a song it's gonna be crap, although that's always a huge possibility considering...everything...

A summer release from Ayu would be nothing short of amaaazing. :) Something like July 1st or independent would be great... anything reminiscent to H would be phenomenal.

I honestly saw this and thought: Yay! New release! In all seriousness, I would love another great Ayu summer song that is happy and upbeat.

Well, the only thing that I need is something fresh, just like You & Me was last year.Surely,something reminiscent of H or & would be great but I don't think she'll do something like this...I may be wrong though.

As long as she release a single, and is a very good song I'll love it. :D
