2wks ago, I was browsing a Namie thread on hallyu8.com (before it was shutdown indefinitely :() and people on twitter and/or instagram were saying that they spotted Namie in Las Vegas. :shrug I miss that damn website. The Namie fans over there had the most up to date and precise info on what Namie was up to promotion and music wise. :cry

I really hope she isn't lying about making dance tracks, because she excels in that field. WHAT A FEELING still holds the title of my favourite J-pop song that isn't from Koda Kumi

^I was bumping to WHAT A FEELING for years. It took me a while for me to get tired of it. I have many good memories linked to that song.

I wasn't into browsing through the previous thread so I could listen to Can You Feel This Love? preview. I noticed a link in the first link and listened to it. It sounded sweet. I'm so excited for the new album already. Namie never fails to disappoint me. She's one of those few J-Pop artists that impress me every single time besides Kuu and Hikki♥

I really wish i had somewhere in my local area where i could buy all these magazines for original retail price. It's hard enough finding them without really travelling, and even harder to find them not jacked up to like $20-$25.... :(

NEWS: 'Sweet Magazine' posted on their twitter yesterday (10/05) that they interviewed Namie and she revealed more info on her album in the issue. The scans and translations should come up any day now. Look out for it. :yes

She's literally a head on a stick, no boobs, no ass, no nothing, which works pretty well for her since she can wear anything and look good I guess.

First she was in Las Vegas and now LA. I'm really excited for the upcoming album and the PV's. I just wish we had more info. I'm guessing this album will be released by the end of July. :yes

I definitely agree with you. Seeing you (one of the biggest Namie fans on the forum) post your honest opinion reassures that I'm not the only one who feels as though Namie's current music is lacking in some way.

Anyway It's still too premature for me to assume how the rest of the album will sound. Who knows, she just might surprise us in the end. :yes

TLC, don't go chasing waterfalls... :D was it their memeber that won battle with cancer and then died in car crash a bit later? so I heard when I was young but never actually confirmed it, I only know about 2-3 of their songs.

LOL! Don't. I was born in 1985 so I grew up during the 90s. I just dont remember much cuz i was mostly a homegirl as a child & only listened to either SM soundtracks or random stuff my own family had on back then. LOL

Anyways, back on topic, but if it does come out this summer we should hear some official news of release details in the next month or so. JPOP releases are always announced over a month in advance. :)

TLC!!!!!! OMG they are my favorite R&B group for sure! Holy cow. I remember Chilli was supposed to sing with Namie on Put 'Em Up or some song of hers during her Hip-Hop cross-over. It'd be awesome if that collaboration is being revived now!

More album details will be coming out over the next 2 weeks and into early June. Normally we get album details right after her filming of PV's. (Some artists for some reason film their PV's at the last possible second.):P

Namie's next magazine interview will be with 'mina' magazine and that comes out 5/20 [Monday] (Scans always leak early) so look out for it. ;)

NEWS: Sources posted that Namie was filming yet again for another PV today (5/15) but pictures haven't surfaced yet. Stay posted. ;)
