personally I think she didn't, except for her , you know,what do you call it, make your lips thicker and bigger. that doesnt count as PS to me though. about her eyes, im sure it's just she wears contact lens, the circle lens, and the enlarge one. with fake eyelashes, lens, make-up, double-tape eyelids, contour nose, she definitely looks like she had PS, even though she didn't.
if you look at her old photos, she looks the same to me, except for fixing her teeth.

^I don't think she got botox. She just likes to make like a fish in her photoshoots.

And no she didn't get plastic surgery. It's really obvious when you see pictures of her without all that (horrendous) makeup. She actually looks like she's still 20 without all that crap caked on her face. However, she obviously got something done to her teeth which made them kind of scary.

Except for removing the fat bags under the eyes I don't think she did any... For the lips I think sometimes she uses that kind of lipgloss that make the lips look bigger (mostly during 2011), but I don't think she really did something to her lips, cause it's not always that they look that way...

But, who knows, she might have done something else, but nothing that noticeable...

I don't know, I stopped asking myself or else I'd gone mad. There was a time when I really wanted to know, not because it's of any importance, but because everybody kept making an issue of it and I just wanted to know!
But really, it's impossible to be sure. I tried. And failed.

I personally don't think she's had full blown PS. Botox in her cheeks at one point may have been a possibility to me (like some picture of her in London. Her cheeks look weird. I could be completely wrong though.)

In the end, no one should care. It doesn't make her less of a person (no pun intended) or musician. And I honestly would have NEVER questioned it if this topic didn't come up so much.

I'm doubtful to my eyes she is the same ^^

One thing I find formidable about Ayu is that she is considered like a cyborg by a lot of people since the begining but maybe she has nothing done on her face except the teeth or minor surgery but the contour of her face has not changed she has just grown.

I just think that's how Japanese nose are. I see in tumblr a lot, and see most of the girls / guys have that kind of nose... normal Japanese nose.. Nyantaro the dancer for example, Sako Tomohisa.

Even if she did get a small amount of plastic surgery, it's not really noticeable when the drag makeup comes off. I mean, it's not like she went into the clinic and ordered a full blown face off a one-item menu like the Korean girls do. You can still tell who she is.

@alternafan I never bother with sources anymore, because even when I have posted the source, I was still called a liar. So why waste my time for people who will call me a liar even when I'm directly quoting Ayumi from an interview or her twitter, which btw most of my posts I've been asked for a source for were from one of the two. But since you have your know it alls who you believe regardless of what they say on this forum, you're all set anyway, so why worry about it.

I can't even tell since I've seen those before/after make-up sections in japanese magazines.. they can really make their eyes look huge. Could be that ayu was born with bigger eyes and also does all that crap to make them even bigger so they look unreal at times. Either way I still love her the same even if she did anything, but hope that she wouldn't want to get anything done, she is beautiful how she is now. I don't want to imagine her getting like double D implants or something or a thinner nose :S

^Sorry but those too blind to notice her lips looking gigantic in a few photoshoots the past 3 years would also be too blind to read this post. And it could be botox or collagen or something I haven't heard of but it's noticable when she does it. And she doesn't talk about it so there is no interview or tweet mentioning that.

botox isn't really a surgery. that's just to plump the lips up. Millions and millions of women do that

But if she has its not like they reconstructed her face from something else, they would of just done little things, I would think to help accentuate her look, if anything

To be honest I think she has done multiple plastic surgeries, concerning her nose and perhaps jaw. I don't have facts for this but it just seems strange to me how her nose can change from appearance and that her jawline is "perfect". Look at her, she's perfect. But maybe she's born with it (or maybe its maybel.. ok lame).

And also, I don't care if she did or didn't. In the end its her decision, its her money. If she isn't satisfied with how she looks, then go ahead, why not? But it would be nice to hear from an insider if she did or not.

No one can be sure about this, all we can do is assume.

Every now and then when this comes up I give it some thought and I compare pictures and you know I just go back to thinking that she looks pretty darn similar to older pictures except for the fact that you know, she's grown up, people tend to do that.

Even if she did have anything done I couldn't see it as being much. I think there's a big difference between having plastic surgery that changes you a lot, to just having small things done which you think might need fixing, teeth for example.

I'm also interested to know because I've noticed that right now she looks very different to what she used to look like a couple of years ago. I hope this doesn't come as shade, I'm just curious.

I think it’s quite obvious she had fillers of some kind, probably Botox (?). And Timmy did it as well, since they looked exactly the same around 2018 lol. But her face structure has been always the same imo.

Her face always seems to return to how it looks "normally" but it looks like botox is in heavy use nowadays especially just before lives. It seemed like she dabbled with it in the late 00s but it's become really heavy lately. Her face gets a bit more plump looking and the features that once made her look unique sort of melt away.

Like some people have mentioned, I think she's gotten maybe her eyes done and lately maybe botox(?), her face sometimes does look puffier, but it could also be natural changes with time and motherhood (I've seen it happen to women after they've given birth)
Hair and makeup also affect our perception, and she's been trying styles that differ from her classic ones (especially eyes and eyebrows makeup...)
None of this bothers me, she still looks beautiful
What ticks me off a bit is her... chin... doesn't it look thinner in the Ohia no Ki PV?
I do want to go back to Natsu no Trouble to compare, but I'd like better close ups of her XD

I don't really care about her plastic surgery. She can do whatever she wants with her body. Maybe I don't like it, but no one asks me for my opinion.

I don’t really care much if she's had plastic surgeries done but I do confess that I got pretty mindfucked in 2016 when I saw clips of CDL2016 and her boobs were a size or 2 bigger than they used to be, lol. I know workouts that can make them look bigger/firm/thick but it just happened so suddenly that I can't help but wonder if she actually had them done that year.

She may have had filler in her chin to give her more definition. The “V-line” look. (To me, it’s reminiscent of Michelle Phan’s transformation.)

But yes, her and Timmy look to have gotten into fillers together lol. Of course weight gain and water retention will show in the face as well, so it could be a combination of all three.

But there’s a “flatness” that comes with using a lot of filler, ironically. It can take too many of the planes of your face away, and so it actually makes your head look bigger imo lol (when overdone/done wrong) so I hope she doesn’t over do it going forward. (Assuming she got it.)

In addition to the fillers I think she def had a chin shaving in the last few years. She has the K-pop jawline lol
I suspect she got a lip lift too. She went SO HARD with the lip fillers in 2011-13 so when she stopped her top lip sagged. This is super obvious on the sixxxxxx cover. Its common to do the lift to fix this and it looks like she did because her top lip doesn't sag as much.
And I am sorry but I am still conviced she got implants lol
