NintendoHTF1242 25th November 2013 08:57 AM

How sad...out of that entire list I only care for two of the artists performing...

~StarCatcher~ 25th November 2013 09:49 AM

Is that the final setlist??

Because Kumi is missing ;__;

thinkingoutloud89 25th November 2013 10:15 AM

Kumi either doesn't want to participate or is not invited cause of the lack of important releases

the3ye 25th November 2013 12:59 PM

Linked Horizon? WOW
No ayaka? Too bad

~StarCatcher~ 25th November 2013 01:01 PM

By now I think it's not the complete list!

I think Kumi will defenitely participate and I doubt that ayaka is missing...

brener 25th November 2013 01:15 PM

aiko, ikimono, AAA, Sakanaction, ayu <3

terra 25th November 2013 01:32 PM

Yay for Ayu and Linked Horizon! Wish Kuu is there and Ai
I wish to see Kobayashi Sachiko again :(

jiarongisme 25th November 2013 02:05 PM

I find it odd and interesting that AAA's on the red team this year, since they've been on the white team for the past 3 years. Also, I wonder if they'll announce more artists to the line up? It's odd that Kuu's not on the list.

Didz-19 25th November 2013 02:34 PM

There's no Mika Nakashima?????

marty 25th November 2013 02:44 PM

Nice (but Kuu missing makes me sad! ;_; ), I hope I get the chance to watch the performances!

TeamAyu2004 25th November 2013 02:46 PM

I wish I could watch this live! :(
It saddens my heart that I'm not there anymore.

AyuGAME 25th November 2013 03:13 PM

Matsuda Seiko????!!!

pimenta 25th November 2013 03:23 PM

This year is so weak imo, I only care for Ayu and T.M.Revolution... I missed Kuu :(

But no surprise seeing no kpop considering that last time they included kpop artists there were complains...

YUKARI 25th November 2013 03:23 PM

Yay, Sakanaction!!

next year I want to see Ieiri Leo :heart

Bigtop 25th November 2013 04:35 PM

Finally no Kuu (Koda Kumi) to deal with! Could this change the red team's misforutunes...?

Also glad to see miwa going to the Kouhaku! But this also means no ayaka...

XFER 25th November 2013 07:02 PM

But, Morning Musume had multiple number ones this year, why aren't they there? :(

maybe so with how much hate they have for her, but I doubt it will change their misogynist crap.

Considering Koda was the only thing even interesting about Kouhaku, I don't think I'll be bothering to watch this year.

I bet AKB would be the only performance to watch now. Besides Ayu I guess.

adantatu2 26th November 2013 01:08 AM

Yay miwa, E-girls and Linked Horizon are going to perform for the first time !!!

relmy 26th November 2013 01:29 AM

Yesss Sakanaction! ;___;

Only excited for them and Nana Mizuki <3

YuriChan 26th November 2013 07:47 AM

Glad to see my favorite artists on the list (including ayu)! <3 Although, I'm a little bummed that Kuu-chan isn't on that list. o_o

Bigtop 30th December 2013 03:12 PM

After what I heard about EXILE winning the 55th Japan Record Award (denying AKB48 a third consecutive and breaking Ayu's record with four wins)...I have a feeling that the WHITE team (the male artists) are going to win the Kouhaku.

Sorry, red team, but...

Zemus 30th December 2013 03:26 PM

^ Oh they did? I gotta watch that, one of HIRO's last appearances with EXILE, and his wife (Ueto Aya) hosted the event too. Must have been emotional.

Red Team last won in 2011. It will be interesting to see the outcome tomorrow evening.

Bigtop 1st January 2014 12:12 AM

White team won again. But this time the (dreaded) ball system is BACK! 9 balls to 4, just to let you know, so it wasn't even close. The majority of people went with the white team (if you're wondering in terms of popular vote; I just call the ball votes like the U.S. presidential electoral votes). I'm still mad at this though, not letting the red team to win, and it's all because of too much Johnny's...why are they the force that even AKB48 cannot handle??? Maybe here's an idea that I would think about:

(Although, then again, I'm a fan of some Johnny's musicians, such as ARASHI...)

Or maybe let's try to be fair in some way, particularly artist list, in a way to sway to a more closer voting competition, and a possible start at a red team dominance... But that isn't going to happen pretty soon, unless a significant number of Johnny's start to lose steam, which I don't think is the case right now, even SMAP or ARASHI...

No wonder why I don't care about J-pop (despite my AKB48 and certain Johnny's groups following) so much - too much Johnny's dominating Music Station and Kouhaku (possible reason why the boys keep winning), along with a combination that Ayu's getting too old for me...

AyuGAME 1st January 2014 02:54 AM

Exile win for the fourth time? it's really weird...wasn't the system for japan record awards is just three times max?

emi♡ 1st January 2014 03:31 AM

lol @ how they keep having to push regulations because no one can ever have a chance at anything.
