I was thinking about the 15th anniv. these days and I though... Are there any songs you guys would like Kuu to re-record next year and maybe even shoot a PV for it, like she did for walk? I have lots of songs I'd love to see being reinterpretated, but I guess I can see TAKE BACK, Cutie Honey and Ai no uta getting new versions. And for the later two it'd be really great cause she's always singing them and maybe a new version would help giving them a new fresh air :laugh |

I completely agree about Ai no Uta. Yume no Uta too could use a new version. In general tough, I don't think often about resung version for Kuu, because even then her voice was amazing, lol. But if we're talking about re-arrangment, then the list of songs I'd like is much, much longer. |

You know, I always wondered how come yume no uta was a hit and she rarely sing it (after Black Cherry tour), unlike ai no uta. I know that ai no uta is her biggest ballad hit but yume no uta was almost the same at its time, it seems as though that the Japanese and kuu herself prefer ai no uta (exclusively). I wonder why? She has you, yume no uta, unmei and stay with me which were relatively big hits but most of the time it's mainly ai no uta that gets the spotlight. |

I absolutely love Yume no Uta, way way way way more than Ai no Uta. (I actually can't stand it.) But I truly never knew about this... Hmm. I suppose that makes sense then as to why she doesn't perform it much. But I mean...it shouldn't stop her from performing it. |
^ Kumi was not hurted about it but Avex and the composer were.
He was quite big composer for Avex : EXILE, Kumi (he composed m.a.z.e, Rain)... but i don't think he was that active after that story, at least for one year or two. I noticed he composed the new (shitty) version of walk in 2010. Maybe water goes under the bridge since then. If i'm right, the issue became big 1 year after its release, it makes me wonder if it didn't help Ai no Uta to become a huge hit (reminds me at its release, the song was presented as Yume no Uta part II). Other topic but Imagine is really great. One of her best recent ballad. I almost cried during the concert. Her interpretation was deep. I wish she released it as single. Quote:

The photoshoot is for tawainese magazines. She also did several interviews.
So not for a release. Physical thing and Can We Go Back aren`t covers. As well TOUCH DOWN and some others. They were never released in the west, there are just demos from (popular) western singers or in Physical things case, the writer made a demo to actually sell it to an artist (Kuu). Also, it seems composers can sell their songs both in the west and in the east. And I think those aren`t official covers as well, at least by law. |

The best version of cute Kuu is Chase.
Cute, but still sexy and mature! That song is AWESOME, and so is the PV! Koi no Tsubomi and Birthday Eve are also good cuties. I'd also like to see her do re-arrangements and maybe some new vocals for older songs (like Take Back, Come with me, without your love, Promise (a new arrangement so she can sing it live again!), 24, love holic, flower needs a PV...) really, I'd like her to give some love to the lesser enjoyed songs in her career. Well, that's not really something people do for anniversaries though is it? hahaha maybe that'd make a nice personal project for her sometime down the road. |

i get surprised about Yume No Uta's Scandal, but i think it's real. However, Kuu's one is still a great job and more beautiful than original one by stings instruments and powerful vocal. By the way, i understand why she doesn't sing it again, but please not Ai no Uta all times. When her concert's setlist had come out with Ai no uta, i always felt so bored, i still wait for Unmei, Promise to live again.

Honestly Ai no Uta sounds more plagiarized than Yume no Uta to me LOL..the chorus is SO generic. But I guess that's what Japanese like. It's a pure J-Pop-esque ballad

It was a really nice tour. I liked it more than the ones from recent years (2012 and pre). She sang a lot of songs but it was dissapointing she didn't sing some in full (which weren't in a medley). |

My problem with JAPONESQUE Tour is the footage, it's so dark and the colors are so washed out.
Yume no Uta is pure perfection for me, and that high note is sooo damn good. And one more thing about Can We Go Back: Kumi recorded the song before Kelly, even tho she kept the track without releasing. |

Oh, I haven't seen JAPONESQUE TOUR yet either, but I think I will watch it eventually. I did download it tho. I'm just too lazy to check it out. >_> Premium Night, Kuu's part in a-nation 2013 and Let's Party Vol.2 are also something I haven't watched yet. But I will. I promise I will. After I kill my inspiration for writing and lock it up somewhere into the back of my mind. And yes, I did say many months ago that I'm not going to watch any, but I changed my mind. Mostly because it's Kuu we're talking. She's my queen. I gotta watch 'em. x3

Japonesque tour lost a lot of momentum once she wore that unitard with the fur coat....that whole bit was boring as hell even tho it was mainly fast songs...weird
anyway overall it wasn't better than Universe or TRICK but better than Dejavu and Kingdom |
