RIAJ digital certifications for digital sales
Digital charts and downloads are a big part of selling music worldwide.
As Japan doesn't release exact numbers of what songs and albums sold digitally, we only have yearly charts and digital certifications for single songs. This thread is supposed to be a collective thread for official digital certifications for certain artists. I start with some female artists I already made lists for and followed. But I want to do more artists and bands in future and add them here. General information What's RIAJ and this all about? Spoiler:

All general information from the official RIAJ site, collected by the RIAJ thread on JPC forum and completed by me. All lists done by me. You can check all the certifications yourself with the link in the information above. Please note again, that this isn't a full universal survey by any means! If you find mistakes or have questions, just post here. I gonna try to help as good as I'm able to or maybe somebody else can help. I just think it's interesting to have. More lists to come and updates will be made by new certifications for current lists. |

Guess, I take AKB48 and Exile next. Those two should be the biggest digital sellers from my observation. |

Just added the certifications for June 2014 in the lists as I haven't done it so far.

I know she is not active anymore, but I'm missing Utada Hikaru from that list.
She should be #1 or #2 in competition with kana lol. Maybe Mika Nakashima is worth adding as well? Also other females that could match with the girls above if there are any. Thelma Aoyama has just 1 digital hit to sell milions right? She is not on par in total with the others. |

Hikki's "Can You Keep A Secret?" got Platinum as full song in September, so I just made the list for her.

For explanation: PC downloads are still seperately listed for Hikki, although RIAJ doesn't count PC seperately anymore since January 2014. Looks like Universal, her record company, didn't want to update her chart to merge the sales for PC and mobiel phones together. So PC is still extra for her. Sakura Nagashi e.g. was ONLY released for PC, not for mobile phones (means not for download portals like recochoku). Every song, which would be released for PC digital download only today, would be listed under "Single Track/Full song" as both PC and mobile downloads are counted together for full songs since 2014. But back in 2012, it still was counted seperately. |
