Album covers are OK, not usual love pastel colours, nothing wow too but just fine. I like countdown though, original and they play with it!

I didn´t say anything about TA Cover, I am looking forward to the box design^^ I assume it´s something like RnRC or PQ but I still hope it may be something like Colours or maybe something totally different.

I LOVED THE COVERS, especially the CD only edition! But I'm disappointed that she's actually using the "A" as an article instead of her logo. I mean, the title doesn't make any sense...

I like the cover for the CDL too but the font bothers me. As the pic is funny I would have prefered to see a less invasive text. :/

Nice shoot. Cd+DVD is the best. Cd+Bluray a bit creepy/seductive due to contacts. Cd only is awkward pose.

Text placement is nice and font choice good. On cd version though the outline stands out and makes it look not so good.

It really bothers me how there's an outer glow on the "A O" and not the "NE." I'm not gonna use the CD-only cover anyway because that cover is just bleh, but I had to nitpick because that's just really tacky design right there. :[

The covers are OK, not heinous but nothing groundbreaking either. The only one that's really up to my personal standards of real acceptability is the CD+DVD. Her tit looks weird though lmao. The CD+bluray is a creepy pic and bad crop and the CD-only is just kinda... idk, it just looks like some anime nobody CD cover from the mid-2000s in all honesty.

They're really just cold versions of the LOVE again covers, but with inoffensive typography teehee. I was expecting much worse though, so they're fine.

Oh and you can totally fit an "L" in between A and ONE perfectly. So that theory may play out.

I just want ayu to like, scoot back a little on top of her computer-generated die XD!! It's kind of irritating, like she's gonna fall off the edge of it and she's not QUITE centered enough on the photo XD eeeek!!

The album covers look fantastic. Almost like, if she was dreaming on "LOVE again," with "A ONE" she's back to reality - less fogginess, more darkness balancing out the light. It's nothing stellar or amazing but it's classy and straightforward.

The album covers are perfect! Wow, I can't believe I'm not even complaining about the font, it's really classy!

It's not the same, but it's quite similar.

What's funny is that I disliked how the text looked for that single, but they executed it really well for 2 of the covers (I agree about the shadow being a bit out of place).

why not A4ONE

Album covers: CD+Blu-ray is my favorite (though I likely won't get that version anytime soon, unfortunately), while the crop is a bit weird it does give a stronger sense of intimacy (not that her smoldering expression didn't give that already :P) and I think that fits very well with the album.
The position on the CD+DVD cover is just too awkward for me, lying on your chest like that, and the small top she's wearing make things look worse... but once again, it gives a stronger sense of intimacy and even vulnerability, which I like.
The CD-only is okay, but so generic. It's like the one of the "Feel the love / Merry-go-round" covers (the TA one, possibly?) and it feels like I've seen so many other albums/singles looking almost exactly like that. At least it still fits with the intimacy/vulnerability theme I'm getting from this album.
The font is very meh in my opinion, and it might simply because the images are so LQ but to me it actually looks like it could have been added with MS Paint and ugh... :no
CDL Covers: The expression... the awfully unrealistic shading/lighting (especially on the dice/cube that Ayu is sitting on)... her position... her outfit!
The only word I can say to it is "No". At least the the purple "doors" look cool with their design and the font fits well with it, but still, an overwhelming "no" from me.

The covers look FANTASTIC! I love the CD+Bluray and CD-only.

I love the covers. It's taking me a couple minutes to let them soak in, but I love the covers. Maybe this will be a bit of a comeback for Ayu.

It feels fresh, like Ayu is finally comfortable with who she is and where she is while in the studio.

My only complaint for the CDL covers is that she looks pasted onto the cover. The shoes are nice, but the outfit could have had a bit more in the way of purple?

I'm surprised no one noticed that the text on CD+DVD is not perfectly in the middle though XD I though it was my favourite until I realised it, and now it really irks me :D

And well, if you wanted the "ALONE" theory to be true, technically a strand of her hair between A and ONE on the Blu-ray version kiiiinda looks like an "L", but it's really stretching it, so I don't think she was really going for it.

I expected there to be some sort of meaning, symbols or at least something worth looking into but guess not. She's gorgeous in the covers, that's undeniable, but I'm disappointed how everything has been so meh since love again. I'll wait until I see what she has for us in the album :)

Also the font placement for the CD DVD not being centred reminds me of the love again photobook and how the A logo wasn't centred and hardly anyone mentioned that.

The more I look at the album covers the more I like them but they're still mostly "okay."

CDL covers are okay but a lot more colourful which I like.

If she does, hopefully this one won't be eating grass after a month. Ayu is really the only woman I've heard of that can say she's so hot she can make a man eat grass in her absence.

Album covers are beautiful and with a decent font- yes!
CDL, not so keen. I never liked the logo and I was kind of hoping for a good shot of Ayu on the moon singing Zutto... or that image of her singing Last Minute that she used as a cover photo.

Of course all the covers are absolutely gorgeous, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cd ver. The typography looks jagged with the other versions, but that might be just me xD;;. I like how it basically has the same atmosphere/style as the z.../lm/w single and I loved those covers. Totes excited for this release! Everything so far including the previews have been so gooood like Ayu hasn't kept me on my feet like this since...probably the Love songs era <3.

edit: ah, also, while I love the CDL picture itself, that logo still...irks me >>

CDL cover could have been better, AYU photo is perfect, just the background fails a bit, maybe if there was full background instead of that white light in the middle it would look better? dunno.

Those covers are really good (the best one in my opinion is the normal CD album edition) but I really think her left eye on the CD+DVD edition is a bit strange...Maybe a mistake on the photo-retouch ?!:rolleyes

If there's an ALONE message in it, I guess it could mean she felt ALONE in the past, but now she doesn't, instead she's become A ONE, A WHOLE (kinda strange to think this way if you take things too literally, but I've seen Japanese people using English terms in some very creative and kinda poetic way whether they didn't notice a bad grammar or did)

It is truly horrendous. The composition is a disaster.
The job seems to have been done with something like Paint. I even wonder if her legs are not distorted with the perspective tool. Something seems off to me (or it may just be the cube perspective which is totally wrong). :rolleyes

I love all of the album covers.... she looks soooo gorgeous. Weird seeing her in the CD+Bluray covers without super duck-lip powers going on XD The onllllyyyy complaints I have are that 1) I wish she didn't wear those contact lenses (because the rest of her looks so natural...) and 2) the covers aren't exactly creative by any means.

However. I will take something like this over covers like Party Queen any day... AH GOD SHE LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL IN THE A ONE COVERS. I think I like CD+DVD the best. Oh and I agree with the A(L)ONE theories. And that maybe she's not alone anymore so she removed the L and is "one" because she is whole now.

Ayu using amazon.jp as the link to pre-order on her official facebook page. Maybe she trying to help fans, because amazon usually do have a much better shipping price. Compared to YA CDJ which are like you have to give them a arm and a leg just for shipping costs, I never though of using amazon to do my ayu shopping

I hate the title but I think there's at least a little bit more meaning behind it than behind FIVE's title. I don't care what Ayu said. There is no way anyone or anything will ever convince me the "hope" contrivance was anything more than a last-minute afterthought. And even if it wasn't, which is totally was, it's still stupid because five and hope are in no way related or symbolic of each other otherwise. lmao

I'm sure she probably is just legit going for the "A ONE -> ALONE" thing. It is super cheesy but it is what it is.

I still think it's very amazing that someone figured out the word 'hope' in FIVE. I would never have noticed.

Why does she regularly have pretty boring covers?

Probably cause she isn't really doing a super fun diverse record. Looking back, she's only ever really had two super colorful covers.
