At least there's "Winter diary" - ORIGINAL MIX - but, still, hmm...

I'd actually rather release it as a single, but "Summer diary" was part of the "sixxxxxx" mini-album and not a single as well...

The way it's marketed ticks me off . Then again on 23rd Dec that week , this release is not going to get #1 , be it if it's released in a single and/or album format -_-

Agreed on the album, but the decision to NOT release a single kind of ticks me off. Clearly, since this is a "specialty" album there's no way it's going to get #1! Another Masaharu Fukuyama album (let's NOT talk about him again like last spring)...other than L'Arc~en~Ciel as of now, no strong single competition. But I'm not sure how Ayu would do in the singles these days if she faced weaker competition (no Johnny's or AKB48 BS)...

I'd rather be willing to release a separate single, not something like this album. :no

This is so cooooool, i mean having all those rockish/angry/upbeat tracks as classical versions (except for the GIFT, but i like this song anyway), i agree that she already released LOVE CLASSICS earlier this year, but it was mostly older songs. And i guess Winter Diary is a super calm song then, if she includes it in the album?

I just can't believe that they didn't include Anything for you. ugh.

Yeah, Anything for You and Story would have been great, especially since her vocals are so good there.
I guess no re-recored vocals.

We has a new song and more classical remixes. But people is always complaining and complaining. You all have the new song, if you don't like the remixes then don't listen. I was waiting a lot for WARNING in classical and now Sorrows and Last Minute. I'm happy with this release. But not matter what Ayu releases or did, she is doing bad.

Seriously?! This is a highly unnecessary cash milking release. I was really hoping for new single with Music Station appearance, but Avex clearly needs its money.

even if it calls Winter diary, that's is glad that they chose new songs and not another compilation of you-can-find-it-on-any-other-remix-album hits

WARNING is so powerful, I'm afraid classical arrangement may ruin it's charm.

Well, I'm a sucker for classical songs so I'm pretty stoked for this (although LOVE CLASSICS was pretty meh).

Ayu fans are a tough bunch to please -_-

I'd rather she be plain lazy and release Winter Diary as digital single. Over and done. I guess she needs money to pay her shopping bills in Las Vegas

There is potential for WARNING, but a lot of songs seem out of place for this style of music. ayu-mi-x or ayu trance would have been so much better. I'm so devastated. le sigh.

Well, now looking on the bright side, it is indeed very nice they are remixing rockish tracks AND recent songs. I just wanted more than one new song, but maybe the album will make up to it.

I'm actually really happy bout this, I love the classical albums. And classical version of the rockish songs is great. tbh, for me a classical album with a new song is much better then a single, because I do care for the classical part. (it's the only type of "remix" that I really love)

I also first thought it would just be a random compilation of songs from A ONE and sixxxxxx in their original form so I came here immediately lol Glad that they're at least not the same as the original mixes but it's still annoying how they're selling one new song as part of a remix album essentially.. Digital single would've been better than this IMO just the song with a nice cover and a PV and that's it

I think they chose pretty interesting tracks. The ones that have heavy string arrangements already were probably skipped over for obvious reasons.

I'm always a fan of her classical songs so I'm on it. I read from somewhere saying that Winter diary is with the same melody as Summer diary, just like the Sunrise-Sunset concpet. Is this confirmed?

I myself am not complaining cause we are getting a classical album, but because we are getting only one new song when we had room for both a single and a classical album being released simultaneously. Yeah, LOVE CLASSICS sounded programmed and I didn't care for it for the most part. This seems to have real instruments though.

I don't like rock/fast paced tracks as classical versions. They never sound "as one" because the vocals are evoking a different atmosphere and energy than the classical arrangement.

So...? You're still getting a new winter ballad anyway.

I think alterna orchestra version from one of her singles is the only rock song I like in this style. It give it such a sad tone. Other than that, the rest just sound off

Those releases had arrangements that played to the strengths of the songs. I cannot see this going well for me because as I mentioned, classical renditions of fast-paced songs I do not enjoy.

lol I don't think Winter diary ~A7 Classical~ is a pointless release . To me , some of her most pointless releases are WINTER BALLAD SELECTION & A THEME SONGS -Drama edition-

I will listen to it and buy it (because yes, for the collectors on this forum, you do have to buy every music release...), but I'm resentful that it's not ayu-mi-x or ayu trance.

She could release Winter Diary digitally like Together When... and then in the first quarter of 2015, she could release new remix albums. EVEN if they were just digitally~! They would save on packaging. I am just thirsty for new remixes. Specifically, ayu trance.

I actually don't buy singles but releases like these make them worth it since we're getting a classical (remix) album and later on Winter diary mind end up on an original album so Winter diary as a single won't be a waste (remix and instrumental are not enough for me personally to buy something).

I don't like The GIFT original mix, so I might end up liking the classical mix.

So looking for WARNING, Last Minute, NO FUTURE, Out of control and, of course, Winter diary.

I love classical versions always, so I'm soooo happy with this :D

It's PV will be on the album probably unless they'll say it's going to be a DVD version of this release. Or maybe code-limited-time-online-available, but again on the next album.

Are we expecting Winter Diary to be what Sunrise was to Sunset? I'm thinking no, but the titles are quite similar, I was thinking it may be a small possibility...

When I saw this I thought it would probably be boring like the previous classic albums but songs like Warning and The Show Must Go On could be really interesting. The addition of a violinist reminded me of Kylie Minogue's orchestral mix of "Can't Get You Out of My Head" from "The Abbey Road Sessions" and that remix is amazing.

I agree that LOVE CLASSICS was not good, but i hope this record sounds like MY STORY classical...

I find it funny that people are assuming that it's because of the classical album that there won't be a single with more songs... who said she has more songs to be released anyway?

Judging by this, I'd say she had one song she planned on releasing during this time of the year just because she planned the Summer diary - Winter diary duo, and decided to put it in the classical album because it had to be released during winter. I still much rather get a whole classical album than a random digital single with one song.

I don't think she would have the time to do more songs for a single with the tour and the coming CDL preparations.

This is a great way to promote her newer releases. For example, ayu-mi-x 7 should have covered songs from Next Level through Love songs, but it never happened. LOVE again promotion was basically nonexistent so now that she's finally promoting current album through many ways, its a good thing (CDL 2014-2015, Arena Tour 2015, and now this classical CD).
