I just wish Ayu wouldn't use photos that already have been uploaded online , likewise with what happened with the MADE IN JAPAN pamphlet :x

Photos which're nice are 1 thing but that defeats buying the purpose of buying the magazine and/or pamphlet in the 1st place -_-

Actually, I'm glad that she uploaded all those photos. Scans of magazine and pamphlet can't be as good as digital photos. Also at pamphlet many photos placed at the spread and will be pain to retouch them

I don't think that posting the pics'll have an impact on the sale. Especially that's a magazine and it's rare that people buy it only for Ayu's pics nowadays. Moreover, we're in Internet era and even if Ayu didn't share the pics, they'll be uploaded soon after the release date. So it changes nothing that she showed pics before.
Same with the pamphlet. We got the pics before but fans still buy it.

Personally, I prefer to see the inside of a photobook/magazine/art book before to buy it and judge if it's worth my money or not.

She more than likely doesn't have a say in what a magazine shoot wants her to look like, this is ridiculous

yep, more than likelly they have their own people managing the direction of the mag shoot. HOWEVER we know that Ayu does bring in her own wardrobe every now and then, but that can also be either because a stylist asked her to. Though i have to say that we have had releases with mag shoots, so that's a bit tricky to guess who went with what lol

few days ago I reuploaded textless scans. I can say that 2012 was the worst. Fake tan, huge lips... just look at them, it's so awful. After that this magazine is pure gold =)

^i have to agree. That was the worst, though she was kind of channeling Gyaru culture there lol i hated it though. I'd rather have this than and what we had back then. It just didn't transferee nice in pictures. It worked well in motion but photoshoots...no lol

I think bea's Up isn't exactly where she'd have edgy shoots anyway. We'll see them when she does Harper's again or something.

she used to have some stuff that was a bit more out there...but yeah, this one is always a safe go. It's a mag that's going for the audience who's not exactly shopping at Channel or McQueen lol

I think most of the magazines that had her more exotic shoots are no longer around or have shifted focus. Girlpop hasn't had a new mag for like a year, and CD+DL DATA doesn't feature Ayu at all since... 2007 or 2008.

I agree with this so hard. I can't complain about her image these days because I feel like she looks very nice. Even if she isn't brimming with "creativity," as some suggest, I still think she has a nice, consistent image at the moment.
