Why does she have wet hair in all of them except the covers?
Don't like that and yes, she doesn't look like herself in some of them. I wonder, why that happens so often with her.

I love most of the pictures. Especially the one truehappiness posted, I agree that one is the 'most Ayu-ish of the bunch'. Also the covers artcika posted are great! So happy she is posing for such a popular magazine! She makes her fans proud of her by being this fabulous.

But I am Dutch, and Dutch people have the urge to complain always a little - at least. The only thing I do not love about the pictures is the wet hair. It looks dirty, like - in my own words, when I describe my own wet/dirty hair - spaghetti. Whatever, she looks great. I really enjoy this shoot!

I saw this last night and I was in SHOCK!! Wasn't expecting this at all. Why there's no mention of this on her website? They used to be on point with the magazine session...

About the photos, I love the high quality of this! The makeup, styling, etc. I just hate this wet hair! Makes no sense. But I'm in love with the covers �� So proud! My favorite picture is the one truehappiness posted!

I think the lack of cohesion in this shoot hurts it a good bit, but it's still nice overall despite some funny expressions here and there.

Yeah, she struggled a lot to pronounce a few simple words.

I may sound ridiculous, but I think it is the new hairstyle that makes me feel less bothered/awkward about her engrish, or whatsoever. It looks so beautiful on her... time to call my hairdresser!

If she tries to concentrate on her pronunciation and take time to think before speaking people say she is a fake ass bitch trying too hard to look sexy.

If she just goes over there and say whatever she needs to say without much thought people complain about her pronunciation and call her awkward .

English isn't an easy language for a native speaker of a non-european language and learning a new language after you are already an adult isn't easy for anyone.

I have no idea where did you get that from , not to mention the fact that speaking some language and trying to think about what you're saying has nothing to do with trying to be sexy lol

what we're saying here is that her english used to sound really good just a while ago, without any problem with understanding her, her pronunciation was fine, that's why people are surprised. I don't think it's awkward at all, because she looks confident in what she's saying.

i'm not complaining about her pronouncing, only thing that makes it awkward to me is that she hasn't try to talk like american before but know she seems to try so hard. it's confusing

my english is the worst when i'm speaking it so i completely understand if she has to stop for a while and think the words and pronouncing since i'm doing exactly the same when i have to speak english

I'm sorry, but criticizing her for her english skills is just really, really awful, speaking as a person who still isn't fluent after years and years of learning, not to mention confident enough to speak out loud, because of, well, this. It would be good to understand that no matter what, learning another languages is very difficult. It doesn't matter what language or what you speak natively. Learning a second language is a HUGE undertaking. People lie when they say x language is so easy. They are just trying to look smart. It may easier for some but never easy in general. I mean just think about it, learning a wholeee different way of speaking and understanding. You have to change the way your brain works!:dead2

I have difficulty pronouncing some words as well, even thou I speak English most of the times (English isn't my first language). Sometimes I just stop at mid-sentence (coz I forgetting words) when talking to my husband, hahaha!

OK, back to Ayu's clip, my husband said she doesn't sound like Japanese people speaking English.

She looked super cute even if she was talking strangely, though I didn't think it seemed too often.
