That is so exciting.

I am almost sure it is her 60th single or her 13th Album she will announce.
Because the final Show will close her collection Albums and tour era and I think this will be the start of the new era. I hope I am right. I am so ready for new Kuu music @_@

She has no new music to tour with and just did Anniversary concerts and a Best tour.
So I don't think it will be another tour already announced.

It's probably new music, and I think she will perform the song during the encore. I'm not getting my hopes up, it might be just BRING IT ON / Promise you and I'm not ready for meltdowns yet.

I hope the announcement is music related and not *censored due to a trigger warning* because I'm also ready for a new album. I'm still obsessed with the songs she released in 2015-2016 but new Kuu music is always welcome♥

Last time she had a major announcement was for the DVD of this boring tour so I won't get my hopes up :roflmao
2016 was by far the worst year in her career in terms of music and news

Second baby announcement, clothing line announcement and finally Driving Hit's 7 & Beach Mix 2 announcements! Yaaaay!! Actually if the clothing line is unisex I'll be very excited, not even joking.

On a serious note, it would only make sense to announce 60th single on the last best SINGLE collection tour date. Since 59th single was released at the beginning of this tour.

For the first time not excited for more goods because they have too much Betty Boop & not enough Koda Kumi on them, which makes very little sense to me.

That's surely, when we will get the announcement.
The last tour date is in 5 days already and it's the encore of the final date they air at LINE Live. So she probably announces it herself in the encore.

Plus the final date is on her birthday, and this by itself could justify a stream imo :yes Can't wait for the news!

Is someone going to upload the live album release of BSC Tour by the way? Audio rip of the TV version is missing songs and I didn't download that simply because of that reason. I'd love to have this audio rip tho because this concert is great~ :heart

@ALfromHELLSING I think partially it's because of that plagiarism accusation, but it is weird how the song is neglected by her. I remember of how surprised I was when she didn't sing Yume no Uta at the Premium Night. I don't think songs such as Pearl Moon, flower or even Rain are more popular than Yume no Uta.



The song is a total rip off, but it doesn't take the shine away, it's a gorgeous song.

I think most probably the composer sold the rights of the song to other singer..that's why it can be identical...

People who think that Kuu "plagiarized" obviously have no knowledge of how the music industry works. I mean, Kuu and her own husband both have songs that sample the same over used Blackberry ringtone.

So I heard something along the lines that kuu has recorded a song called "Get Naked" and T.B.C. feat. Shinee (the korean boy band) and that she is going to announce something at the final show of this year?

Is it true? Does anyone know anything about it?
I think someone saw the songs at the Phrased Differently demo site or something like that.

I've never really been a fan of Koda but if that's true I'm definitely gonna bop to that song even if it sucks xD I love me some SHINee

TBC is quite old already, it was registered on BMI and it's not anymore, but it's up on ASCAP with the adicional performer SHINEE, it could be that she's not releasing the song anymore and then SHINEE recorded, or a collaboration. Alternate titles for this song are I'm Here and THE TRIP BEFORE I FALL.

Get Naked is another song, but this a new one.

And yes, she's announcing "something major" during the final date of her tour, it's this sunday and it will be broadcast live on LINE (only the encore, of just the announcement, I'm not sure).

I hear so much so common to J-Pop songs in the chord progression though. I don't see it as a rip-off. If you listen hard enough, you'll hear a similar song from MIKA NAKASHIMA, Kana Nishino, Namie Amuro, Ayu, Ai Otsuka, etc. somewhere in each of their discographies.

"Alive" is far and away her best song, how come she never performs it?

I know that there are some other songs that have similarity, it's pretty much the regular ballad formula, but in this case it's way too similar. Calling a rip off it's a little too harsh, I know, but you know what I'm talking.

Harumi's song is beautiful as well... <3 It's hard to listen the song without thinking about Yume no Uta's lyrics tho.

Alive is Kuu's only ballad single that didn't catch on with the public at all. Her other ballad singles are all certified Gold or higher digitally and hit #1 on the digital charts. Although Alive did manage to hit #1 on Oricon but it wasn't a hit like all her other ballad singles were.

Love this performance.

The song is gorgeous and not like her other ballads which are ringtone download bait. Its a shame it didn't catch on.

Not sure what will be announced tomorrow but considering this year is Kuu's least productive year (in terms of new music) , she better bring in her A game & for once I don't mind over the top releases

And I wonder if among the announcement is will be a world tour next year ? If so I don't know how I'm going to react as for her to do a really long tour this year is just wow

I'm not disappointed at all, I wasn't expecting something major since the whole countdown and then it was just for the DVD... This kind of tour is good for her build her brand more and more as a performer, but it's getting a little messy. haha

This is the 60th single announcement, just without a date yet.

Well, I mean, for Japanese fans this might have been a really exciting announcement, but as I don't have plans of going to Japan before 2018, it doesn't do much for me. I hope the 60th single is really on the way and there are some well produced videos (can I still dream of a PV for Shhh? Even Kimi omoi which is the bside has one ahahahah).

Either way, it's gonna probably another hall tour next year, right? I guess arenas will all be too hard to book cause of the Olympics and all, so no big surprise...
