Q: Why did she choose famous songs for setlist
ayu said that she usually decided on her own, but this time she asked staff and team members what songs they want to hear. She thought it will be the same that fans want.

Or further translated: "I didn't ask the fans because I couldn't take the constant tweets of 'kanariya' and 'ever free'" lol

If they end up singing "Boys and Girls" and "Evolution" I'll be so disappointed.

Maybe they like performing those songs and the routines. "Boys and Girls" is actually really fun, but tbh I could go without "Evolution"... that song never grew on me as much as I thought it should.

For sure she'll perform both songs during the three dates...

I've never not liked a tracklisting for one of Ayu's concerts, just that some are better than others.
Still hoping for Present, even though there is no chance.:laugh

If I recall, the staff helped suggest a song during the AT07 encore section during the Taipei, Hong Kong and Shanghai concerts. She sang Memorial address in Taipei, Flower Garden in Hong Kong and Momentum in Shanghai.

I don't know if that is considered basic, considering AT07 had most of her earlier hits in the setlist already minus Dearest and Voyage

Start grieving now, because there's now way ayu will stop singing the same old songs on each and every concert.

Maybe her staff chose songs that are very important and that remind them precious memories. As it's her last CDL at Yoyogi it's possible they wanted to re-create the atmosphere of some moments.

If only she would give us Return Road... But like we got Ivy last year so, we never know!

^so here's our final clue, we should not expect anything out of the ordinary for this CDL! I guess she can't pace th road to her 20th anniversary with any else than classics that we have heard billions of times.

(don't) leave me alone would be fun! I'd like to see Ourselves and Hanabi Episode II as well! But I'll never get tired of waiting for a Pray or SAKURA performance :laugh

Well, 'classics' are fitting considering Yoyogi is not gonna be usable for a few years. But it is a lot of the same considering she's done quite a few of those concerts in the last few years as well.

I am thinking we'll get a few surprises but mostly stuff we've seen before like until that Day... or NEVER EVER with chair choreography.

My dream would be:
1. Return Road
2. SAKURA
3. Pray

See, I wouldn't mind old songs if she changed the staging, 1LOVE and GAME are perfect examples from Cirque de Minuit. Even NEVER EVER from the Premium Showcase wasn't too bad because it somehow felt new. I'm just tired of her crying on the exact same verses of MY ALL for instance. As for until that day, if she's going to have a louder recorded version in the background every time, she might as well drop it. And don't get me started on MY NAME'S WOMEN.

I don't even wish for the impossible ones anymore, I don't expect liar or criminal, and certainly not NO FUTURE, but a bit of variety would be nice considering she's got sooooo many amazing songs.

It's hard to please everyone when you have a big catalog but for some songs she should really perform them at least once. I think she's at a weird point in her career where newer tracks get ignored sadly after their debuts.

Would love a performance of Ladies Night. Wasn't a fan of that song in the past but I've been in the mood to listen to it a lot lately.

I would rather her perform 〜another night〜 version. Like, that seriously needs some justice live at least once! I'm actually shocked she's never done it; I would think it would be something she could kill at, and something that would be right at home within her live shows. Furthermore, I would also think that this version is something she would actually enjoy performing.

Haha, I just can't hold myself back but:

She could perform my name's WOMEN as much as evolution, I'd never get tired of it! :D I remember when she performed it during CDL 14-15 ppl said same choreography as always and when I read it I was like "THE WHOLE BRIDGE FOR EXAMPLE IS DIFFERENT!" but the most of course noticed the end dance which was new. Also to until that day... during AT16 she sang it without a backing track I think! Also never get tired of this! Love that she actually sings everything live except the "uuh lala---'s" and she still dances the choreography which I just love... the whole "sexy" section (don't know how I should call it other than that) during AT15 could be performed 100 times, I'd still love it. Of course that's just me!

To the rare songs:

I already stated which songs I want to hear, like, she performed them! Just record them and put them on the DVD/Blu-ray, Ayu! Also, if she makes this song-election thing fir her 20th Anniversary Tour again, I just hope that she won't include songs where she knows that the fans want them but she's like "I won't sing it no matter what they say" so we don't get such a thing like the ever free "performance"

She sang kanariya while on aerial. My mouth was agape for 3/4 of the song. It was not a video or recorded. She sang it.
