9 ARENA + 6 HALL ...............

ayuinh.k? 24th March 2017 01:10 PM

I thought Yoyogi was closed. I guess the arena is closing later in the year

Party_King 24th March 2017 01:13 PM

I doubt that the final will be in spring '18 for real…
The first 15 dates spread over 5 months until October '17,
So 45 dates are left…

The other hall dates could be peppered in among the dates that were just announced...but who knows! Hell, at this point her team probably doesn't know either.

~angel*ayumi~ 24th March 2017 01:22 PM

Avex would be stupid not to set Tour Final on 8th April, while it is Sunday, which is pure perfection for her Anniversary Tour Final date.
On the other hand..... we know avex IS stupid. So let's just hope

Yeah, same here, I'm really surprised to see Yoyogi on the list. I wonder if it's a mistake or if they're going to close it later

She looks amazing! <3 The gap between shows is really long... No Saitama this year?! The tickets are expensiver this year, right?! Arena is 9,400yen and hall 8,800yen.

Maybe the dates are being spread out so Ayu can work on other anniversary plans in between. She must have plans to release cds and dvds and magazine features. Maybe a new album too? I don't know.:dead2
It looks like this time she is really shaking things up and doing everything differently. It makes me feel like she has something BIG planned. But I also don't want to get over hyped.:laugh

Zeke. 24th March 2017 01:42 PM

I think it says ticket reservations for those who registered with overseas addresses begins the 27th (and those with Japanese addresses begins today?)...

Aderianu 24th March 2017 01:58 PM

If you got tickets from TeamAyu booth at each venue, you will recieve original postcard.

Japanese Ticket Lottery Reservation Website is ONLY available for resident inside Japan.
TeamAyu members who register their current residential addresses inside Japan as of March 22nd can apply for tickets from this website.
You are unable to apply tickets from this website if your current residential address is outside Japan.
Ticket reservation for overseas is scheduled to be held from Monday March 27th, 2017 15:00. (JST)

【Ticket price】 All seats
Arena ticket price: All seats ¥ 9,400 (tax included)
Hall ticket price: All seats ¥ 8,800 (tax included)

kiseki89 24th March 2017 01:58 PM

Wonders why the change to have so many dates like Namie...
for the halls, how big will it be like? Only attended her concert in Fukui and TA concert :(

Edit: goggled fukuoka's and realized it's a performing hall, does that mean no special ayu stage?

Next_Level29 24th March 2017 02:03 PM

this picture of her, hair hair (those BANGS!!), the colour of it. wow. Im amazed. She s so beautiful. SO BEAUTIFUL.

Kilyk 24th March 2017 02:05 PM

I joined TA last year. They will send an email with the lottery info right? I want to go this tour! I need to!

ayumint 24th March 2017 02:12 PM

I thinks she skips August for dates of a-nation to be confirmed

stivenoto 24th March 2017 02:53 PM

Yeah, usually august she will perform on A-nation.. so thats why there are no dates for August... So excited about the show...

Irish_Ayu_Fan 24th March 2017 03:14 PM

Yesss can't wait! Hope we have some new music going into the tour but probably not gonna happen

Norrel 24th March 2017 04:15 PM

I'm confused at the wording regarding overseas addresses... does this mean if you live overseas you'll be able to purchase tickets? Or do you have to be a part of TeamAyu?

Would it be too late for overseas to register for TeamAyu?

You have to be in TeamAyu to buy tickets online from the overseas. You can always get them in LAWSON or at the clerk desk in front of the arena. There are also people selling them before the show.

I've seen Namie and Gackt both in hall tours and you can still do a lot with the stage. Ayu could still do most of the stuff that she does, it'll just be smaller versions. Most of the halls I've been to were about 2,000 to 3,000 seaters.

There has been an international version of TeamAyu for a few years now, so no, you don't need a japanese address to purchase tickets, you just need to join the international team ayu and you'll get to enter the lottery for tickets along with everyone else. I think the cutoff date for joining Team Ayu and getting tickets already passed earlier this month though. I assume that was just for these initial 15 dates however.

Chris85 24th March 2017 05:05 PM

I'm pretty sure these gaps between the shows are not final, they're likely to add more dates between already announced shows. I think they have hard time figuring out available dates and booking venues, which is causing delays.
This whole announcement mess reminds me of AVEX not being able to upload short making of video of Zutto for many, many months.

I think you're right. It seems really off that she starts the tour in Yokohama, and then takes a whole month to play Yoyogi, just 40-50 minutes away in Tokyo.

I imagine there will be dates in between.

freedreamer 24th March 2017 05:19 PM

I think its well spread out though...

august is for a-nation and she can recuperate inbetween shows for the best quality performance

colorsofromance 24th March 2017 05:37 PM

That picture of her is so beautiful

IDK... for me Hall venues sounds like... cheaper production... And I am kinda sad... Is this the Anniversary tour or The anniversary is next year? This is so unclear. i was expecting like a monster tour for the 20th anniversary.

Xianghua 24th March 2017 06:01 PM

Hall tours doesn't mean it will necessarily be cheaper production. Many artists deliver high quality performances in halls. Example: Koda Kumi

Actually... that is exactly what i fear ... I find her tours way cheaper looking than recent Ayu's Arena tour.

Xianghua 24th March 2017 06:25 PM

I suppose it's all down to personal taste then. It's a grey area between personal style and production value.

EDIT: Oh I should mention, I'm not trying to compare ayu's tour style and kuu's style. What I mean is I don't see a decrease of Koda's production value between her own area tours and hall tours. So I expect that Ayu will not have a decrease in value between her own arena and hall shows either. If that makes sense.

I can understand your point. I love Kumi unconditionally (even if I dislike her recent releases) But I always felt her live concert felt underwhelming. She is a great performer... Vocally stronger than Ayu and a better dancer... but I find her staging, tour concepts and stage design way below Ayu's ones. Is it because Ayu has a bigger budget... or better ideas... better team... or because Arena tours gives her more potential... I can't tell.

Also, Ayu's Hall TA tours are way less impressive than her Arena tours.

CatGirl 24th March 2017 06:58 PM

Yes!!! FINALLY we have some dates, although it's a little odd that they're so spread out. I wonder if she'll add more during this timeframe or if she plans to cram the 45 other dates between autumn and spring.

I'm planning to attend the May or June shows :)

Thank you for posting them!

njanjayrp 24th March 2017 07:00 PM

It seems I will be going for the Osaka dates again!

Ah, I see your concern about the TA tours. I can't speak for all the venues in those tours but only the ZEPP ones. Much more restricted due to the "small live house" type building. But, if she performs for example in halls located in convention centers (as I suspect) she shouldn't have that problem. Here's hoping ^^

Aries 24th March 2017 07:27 PM

That's great to have dates but it would be nice to know if they will put the other 45 after those ones or in between...

JEWELian 25th March 2017 12:39 AM

there's an error on the first page. she's playing in naruto city, not tokushima city. (
徳島:鳴門市文化会館 - naruto shi bunka kaikan)

it is such a dive! why naruto. i went there last year for kuu's tour, the venue is old, run down and one of the tiniest halls i've ever been to, it doesn't even have a second story.

anyway.

looks like i'm going back to nagoya again this year. the things i do for ayu!

LEOyumi 25th March 2017 01:29 AM

The promo picture for this tour looks SO GOOD!
And I really wanna go see her in this tour, but I'm not even part of TeamAyu... Maybe it's time for me to enroll and try to get a ticket later on this year in the other 45 shows...

They ask me
"The beginning or the end?"

Is it because I've become strong
That I can be without tears
Or ... ?

15 out of 60 shows takes 5 months. the entire concert tour will take 20 months :O

well, i wish that date won't used for tour final. come on, its 20th anniv for a most successful jpop diva, i hope she will do some one night only special live, maybe in dome or some stadium, with huge stage, long setlist, and fireworks. well, maybe i should stop dreaming, avex not only stupid but stingy as well...

God_ayu 25th March 2017 03:11 PM

I was hoping that there will be show on 24 june and 25 june since its weekend but unfortunately after 17-18 june the next show is 28 june that falls on a week day. =/

Those aren't hall tours though. Those venues are literally clubs, very, very different. Halls are much better music venues and are specifically designed for music and stage plays, so you usually get far better sound than at Arenas actually, which are built more for sporting events.

Now, obviously she can't do things like cat walks out into the audience, but you can still do a lot of production at halls, just smaller versions of the same things you would get at arenas.

The reason it's hall tours this time though I suspect is because the various Tokyo venues are going to be closed off an on leading up the next Olympics for renovations and Tokyo area venues are the majority of where she plays.

Honestly, all the language around this has been hinting at retirement at the end of the tour -- that's been the connotation the Japanese gives about something ending. I would be surprised if that's actually the case though; I think it's just language to try to drum up interest.

Plus she seem to want visit more citys and think Citys like Oita or Kumamoto have no Arenas?

Yeah, most parts of Japan only has halls. So usually fans from out in those areas need to travel to places like Hiroshima, Nagoya, etc to see her.

Corvina 25th March 2017 06:17 PM

Alright, so I will try to catch one of her shows in Nagoya in June as it's the nearest to the town I'm going to stay.

And I don't think they will put other dates in between those 15. Cause starting FC lottery for those now and then adding others for the same time frame later doesn't make much sense for me.

truehappiness 25th March 2017 06:52 PM

Yeah, knowing Ayu, 'retirement' is not going to be where the 20th anniversary leads but probably some sort of new beginning. But just what will change... who knows.

Yeah, I have a feeling it's going to be something along these lines. I can't see her ever just retiring. Or maybe she is finally going to take a planned break for a while? That too though, I would be surprised if she actually does. haha

voltron 25th March 2017 07:39 PM

I feel like, if it actually means anything at all (which, c'mon, knowing Ayu it might not), it might be some kind of announcement that she's once again throwing normal process aside. Like when she announced that she wasn't going to be a slave to the seasonal single release model, or that she would stop attending Kouhaku, etc. Or, it might have something to do with touring...generally moving toward more hall tours if these go well, maybe some international shows, etc.

Lilly 25th March 2017 09:44 PM

It's probably just drama to get some hype. Like when she promised a song that was going to be played just one day on CDL, we got all excited waiting for the last show it was We are the queens in the first one. Ayu has a way of putting drama where there's none and trying to sound deep when there's no need to.

And you don't count 2 Yoyogi and 2 Yokohama arena shows as Tokyo area why exactly? And it's not like she can't add Saitama Super Arena if she wants to. How many more shows do you think she needs there?
I think it's simple: it's her 20th anniversary tour, she wants to reach out to as many fans as possible, so she's adding halls this time.

er...TA tour is zepp tour (above 1000-1500 pepole) , not hall tour (above 2000-5000 people)

Actually most of japanese singers (example Koda Kumi) is like hall tour because the sound effect and sound equipment is better than arena/stadium/dome

EndOfTheWorld 26th March 2017 06:21 AM

I don't get the feeling that Ayu is retiring at all. I think that may be over analyzing things. But I guess it is always a possibility.
Perhaps this tour is "just the beginning" of the 20th anniversary. It would make sense since it's only 2017. As more time passes, I keep wondering what is going to happen. There is still quite a bit of mystery going on here.
She still doesn't have an album to support this tour. So she may only be performing previous songs? Then a new tour next year for the official anniversary with a supporting album?

ShiraJemJem 26th March 2017 06:26 AM

I wouldn't mind if the promo picture become her new album cover. So gorgeous.

I think it's simple: it's her 20th anniversary tour, she wants to reach out to as many fans as possible, so she's adding halls this time.

That's why in a 60 date tour she is doing those very early on, because they aren't going to be available later. It's getting to be a fairly large problem for artists to find large places in Tokyo to play right now; what is available is pretty booked solid, but I think they've been trying to do better with having them being unavailable on a more rotating basis.

Sure, wanting to be able to go to more places, see more fans et cetera, I'm sure it is part of it, but the loss of income from Tokyo area shows I'm sure factors into the decision as well. 4 total Tokyo arena dates, isn't bad but also isn't near what she usually does. The last two years were exceptions, once again, because of various closures.

Many artists are doing hall tours, because it's kind of the only option right now.

Hey guys,
So as far as I understood, TA International members can join the lottery from 27th but do you know when it closes? I'd rather secure time off work before applying for tickets lol!

YUKARI 26th March 2017 03:38 PM

so I applied for 3 shows in Osaka. mm, and it's too sad to go alone. if someone's going too let's meet up there!

I think it will be Yokohama for me :)

Do you know when they will tell us the results of the lottery?

I looove the Just the beginning promo shot, but... she should have chosen a different color to do things in other than cream/beige. Just about any color would have worked or even black or white! But I guess Ayu + Kazutaka = cream mostly.

njanjayrp 27th March 2017 08:54 AM

I applied for the Tokyo dates. That site is joy to use compared to the iFlyer!

yabieru 27th March 2017 10:13 AM

It gives me an error code when putting my Team Ayu ID /Birth date thing and password. Does someone know how is it? I tried all forms

EDIT: Nevermind. I got it! :D

maybe she plans to get pregnant or adopt... XD

Wow so basically they're giving us less than 3 days to apply :(

Why does it matter? You won't have to pay until early April if you win.

I applied for the 2 weekend Osaka shows with no one to go with, I've never been to a concert alone before hahaha, but it'd be cool to meet up before :)

CatGirl 27th March 2017 12:26 PM

Thank you for posting these links! Were they sent in an email or something? I had no idea where to find them on TA's site :( But I applied for both the Yokohama dates. So excited!

Yeah I know, it's just that I still haven't decided if I'm going to Japan this year and might not be able to find out if I can go until later this week. But that's my problem tbh, so I'm not blaming her for it. I'm just used to the application period being longer :laugh

That's true, But some dates might not be available for the 2nd round, and since I can only go to the yoyogi concert I just wanted to be safe ^^

I guess I'll apply anyway and hope for the best. And I could try to resell the ticket if I can't go after all

Date of birth is your password :)

I had the same error too

yabieru 27th March 2017 08:05 PM

^ Yep. The password is the birth date. I thought the password was the Team Ayu one but nope. Be careful 'cause after 10 times failing the system block your account for 30 minutes

Good luck! :)

!Lawi! 27th March 2017 09:17 PM

Thanks a lot I was able to apply! Now let's skip every day until the 5th :D

I wonder, if tour will end next spring, why it's still TOUR 2017, not 2017-2018

~angel*ayumi~ 27th March 2017 09:31 PM

Maybe they will change name for a second leg, something like ~7 days final~ for RnRC Tour

pedronekoi 27th March 2017 09:35 PM

^ I think so!

Maybe she doesn't want to spill the beans! reaveling an album and an extension to the tour at the same time could be a great anniversary move.

Hi guys, help please :)
It's my first time on the lottery and I don't see where do I have to enter my TM member and password. Is it on the livepocket website? If so, they only say "email and password". Do I have to register there or is there another way? Plus, the website is in Japanese...
Please help...

You can change the language in the bottom right corner. You have to register on the livepocket website website first, then when you try to apply for the concert ticket it will ask you for the TA membership number and birth date, as well as payment details

Great, thank you!

truehappiness 27th March 2017 11:40 PM

The tour will probably undergo a different form after 2017 being "Just the beginning".

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th March 2017 12:51 AM

So guys. The October 4th and 5th dates, oita and kumamoto. How far apart are they from each other? And how far is each from Tokyo?

tokyoxjapanxfan 29th March 2017 02:28 AM

They're not close to Tokyo.
You'd need to take a plane or Shinkansen for a few hours each.
They're an hour or two away from each other as well.

Generally, Tokyoites only go to Saitama, Yokohama and Yoyogi.
Going to Kumamoto would be like going to Florida from NY. (just for a mental image lol)

Of course it's doable, you'd just need to plan accordingly. Planes tend to be cheaper than Shinkansen tickets, but also less convenient. You'd also get to experience locations that are less traveled by tourists and Japanese alike. So you'd get a really great look at Japan outside of Kanto.

Wow, thank you! I'm not sure if that's for me. I'm already having a hard time convincing my boyfriend to go with me for a fourth time. Lol soooo I'm not sure how he'd feel about even MORE traveling. I wonder if the fukuoka dates would be a better fit for me...I've only ever been to concerts at Yoyogi and September is probably the earlist that we could go this year.

I'm sure also that more dates will be announced for the fall (they would have to be with 60 dates). I'll be seeing it in the fall sometime somewhere. lol

markkht 29th March 2017 06:04 AM

Hi guys, this is my first time to purchase Ayu's concert ticket via the official global fans club.

I have a problem in inputting my TeamAyu account's info in the Livepocket system... After registering an account in Livepocket and picking the date I want, it requires me to input my TeamAyu info. -- I typed my TeamAyu ID (6 digit) in the field "ID", and my registered date-of-birth (YYYYMMDD) in the field "Password", but the system tells that my ID or password is incorrect... (I checked that my TeamAyu membership is fine for the lottery)

Does anyone have the same problem? Can anyone tells me what happened? Thanks a lot!

~angel*ayumi~ 29th March 2017 06:39 AM

Fukuoka is nearly as far as Kumamoto and Oita, it takes also ap 6 hours from Toyko with Shinkansen

fukuoka is only about a 90-120 minute flight from tokyo.

i've not been to kumamoto, but have been to the cities of nagasaki, oita, miyazaki, fukuoka, and kagoshima prefecture (yakushima).

kyushu is pretty easy to get around but if you're on a limited timeframe it's best to fly from tokyo and then take the train around (jr offer a separate kyushu railpass which is quite cheap). from memory, oita city is about two hours to fukuoka by train, and then from fukuoka you can take shinkansen down to kumamoto (the line goes to kagoshima city). nagasaki is also two hours the other way from fukuoka (i.e. 4 hours from oita) and well worth a visit for at least 3 days if you're going to kyushu! oita and the other cities on kyushu are also quite small and very cheap. i saw kuu's bon voyage tour at oita's iichiko theatre and stayed at a hotel just 5 minutes walk on the same road from the venue.

that said, there's not much to do in oita, so i wouldn't bother staying more than the night of the show.

I'm hoping that the reason for that might be that they actually have some new releases and heavy promotion planned this year, but that might be too much to hope for, lol.

Aderianu 29th March 2017 05:11 PM

I'm like 100% sure will be new dates in between
Maybe not in May/June, but after that
