I want more jazzy Kuu, though I know it's highly unlikely. I feel like Bassline (which I love) is the closest thing I will get from now on.

I also love her jazzy side, songs like Jounetsu really brings good vibes.
I wonder if, with the new hair color, she's using wigs for the ballad section of the concert. She's using some braids and it looks already off since during the beginning of the tour her hair was in one color each side. |

That's what I think as well. Probably they wanted to do like a limited single before the album ( like CWCB was e.g.), but just scrapped the idea.
I don't believe in a re-cut single. But having the purple hair for such a short time does point out they did something with it... Curious to find out. |

As an aside, someone should edit the Discography section. W FACE is officially her 13th AND 14th studio albums. They're not catalogued as a single release. And Dance In The Rain and Shh! are listed as limited release singles, not official singles, so they should be separated from her official single release chronology.
Also, does anyone have a comprehensive list of Koda's PVs and her estimated career sales? That would be kind of neat. And maybe we can also add in that she is like the third or fourth bestselling female solo artist in Japanese history. Has Koda talked publicly about her declining sales in the last few years? I know Japanese artists typically don't talk about this kind of stuff, but I am curious how Koda feels about her popularity dwindling and what her long term goals are at this point for her career. |

I don't count Dance In The Rain & Shhh! as part of Kuu's official single discography either but since Rhythm Zone state it as so , then so be it
Also for W FACE album(s) , until Kuu release her next studio album , let's see what Rhythm Zone will say if it will be Kuu's 14th or 15th album For now , I count both W FACE album(s) as Kuu's 13th album , just that I tag each album differently |

Okey W FACE is the kuu first album with only one single released before (Shhh!), so they teased Ultraviolet like the 60th single but they only release the new album and nothing more. Seeing the tour goods you can see Ultraviolet being the main theme so maybe will be a recut single, but is not the best song to be re released in my opinion anyway. |
Maybe it's something like when ayu released the 6 songs of Colours as venue only singles and they weren't counted as such.

They were just released in a different way but they were always called singles and there was even the whole BSC Tour with 59 dates for 59 singles, there's no reason not to count them when she is.
W FACE albums is worth some discussion tho, I'd label them as separate numbers but everything is being doing like it's the same release so it makes sense in both ways in the end. Let's wait and see what they say bout the next album and then we'll find out :P |
I changed the first post so far, that I added additional info in brackets behind the singles (if it was limited e.g.). But for her whole single back catalogue, not only the last two.

Dance in the rain and Shhh! are obviously official singles. My only complaint about her singles discography would be the Its all love! (Kuu x misono) one. I wanted it to be labeled as a collaboration single rather than kuu's own single. Just like the Kuu x BoA one and the Kuu x Exile one :/ |
I count a release if it's eligible for and charts on Oricon. So, even though W FACE is a double album according to Koda's site, it's actually two separate recordings to Oricon. Just like I don't count Dance in The Rain and Shh! because they weren't eligible for Oricon singles chart.

Dance In The Rain has one of my favorite covers in Kumi's discography. Kind of a shame it didn't have a conventional release.
I do agree that both DITR and Shhh! are official singles, I think the arguments against that fact are unfounded, but in the end I guess it really isn't a big deal. |

So far 35 dates are sold out,4 past dates weren't. The rest of the 21 dates can still sell out.
This tour is selling slowlier than last year, but that's not surprising as last years was a Best tour. Those are always more popular. |

Since her release pattern is all over the place, I hope we get something to look forward this year. It's so weird follow her for all these years and nowadays there is not a lot to look forward when she's on tour, except for the DVD footage. Specially during the summer, it was always a nice time to expect more and more things, and now not even a-nation we're getting this time. I understand why, but at the same time it's a little sad, I don't know. I guess she's not doing any summer festival either. |

Kuu is going to be on the TV show called 誰だって波瀾爆笑 (dare datte haran bakusho - translated something like "everyone's huge roar of laughter").

It would make sense if she finally releases the 60th single now, and maybe she could perform on FNS Uta, but who knows... We'll have to wait and see.

DITR wasn't venue limited tho, the physical version was sold only through FC and the normal single was avaible digitally :P To me that's better than venue-only cause it's easier to get.
The thing with venue releases is that it's probably cheaper for them and with these tours having so many dates they might get better profits than normal releases. But a 60th single would (or should) be too big for that, maybe if there was one venue-only version I wouldn't complain, but if it's the same thing as Shhh! again it'll be a let-down to me :( |
One version of Shhh! was also available via mu-mo meaning that even tho both singles didn't chart on Oricon they were still available for everyone to purchase in one way or the other, maybe 60th single will be released in a similar way?
I wonder if the number of pre-orders for W FACE made avex & Kumi scrap Ultraviolet as a single. I think whichever way 60th single will be available we will get a least one MV, I know that W FACE MVs were really low budget but then again there's W FACE song MV, which is a total badass. btw can someone explain to me how the FC tour works? Is it a short tour with a few dates or is it going to be a full-scale tour but for fans only? Cause if it's an FC tour that means that casual Kumi concertgoers won't be able to attend, why loose money by not letting anyone to attend the show? |

tbh I think they scrapped Ultraviolet as a 60th sinle way before they announced W FACE, it would make no sense to hype it but having an album planned to be released before it. Probably they told her 'gurl you can do better' and she decided to wait to release the next single :P

As you can see the Tropical Shower is the most popular. And I agree, it is the best. It smells fresh and lightly, awesome for the summer here! Malibu Kiss is the worst - it smells like coconut cookies. Nice, but definitely nothing I wanna smell like. :laugh They also have her full contactlense line here, but I didn't make a photo. Sadly I wasn't able to find the mascara and the liner in stores. Guess I have to order online after all. |
