We have no doubt what ayumi hamasaki says, 19 years she has been pursuing ultimate entertainment and kept improving.

"Just the beginning -20-" tour, the advanced step to her 20th anniversary year, runs 60 concerts!!
It's her first attempt and shows begin to be held at hall venues in Japan, starting with Arena venue.

We follow the track of the masterpieces since her debut by changing scale which makes her shows multifariously.
This tour must be going to become something special and the long awaited "special edition" tour for her fans.


What is her intension of starting "Just the beginning", is this countdown to her 20th anniversary or...

Second show just finished! Same set list, and I really do think she sang it all live! Some parts where she sings a bit louder in the final chorus you can hear some of the imperfections that were different to yesterday. She forgot the lyrics to a bit of boys and girls. In kiss o kill she forgot her placement right before the second chorus and the stairs sorta wheeled her off to the side while she was meant to be in the centre surrounded by the chains her dancers were holding haha. She awkwardly saved it by walking to the front of the chain formation even though she was meant to be in the middle of it.

Vocals were great again tonight! If I had to pick last night's was only slightly better, tonight was still much better than some arena shows I had seen in the past!

Say, is it still possible to get a ticket for the dates in Shizuoka? I'm in Tokyo for the next weeks and I have more money left than I initially thought. And I so much like that setlist and would like to see it!!

Can anyone confirm if there's been any changes in the setlist in Fukuoka? It'd be nice if she changed one or two songs from the encore, especially for those places where there are two dates.

I hope Ayu makes a DVD or at least, a live broadcast of this chapter of the tour.

Apparently you can't really tell. The band recorded stuff after a-nation and it sounds good.

Can you tell me if all the audience members who were selected to go on stage were wearing this year's tour apparel? And if not, were they wearing some other apparel of Ayu's?

All but two of them were either wearing the tour T shirt or had the tour towel wrapped around them. I don't think it matters that much, as long as you're willing to go on stage and look like you're into the show? Which if you are gonna spend money on merch, you likely would be into the show!

I'm worried for her hearing, at this rate of the dates till Mid Feb, and the actual anniversary is in April, she hardly gets any rest.

Kumi´s Concert tomorrow in kagoshima is also cancelled, they explain it´s because of public transportation get´s partly cancelled during typhoon or so. Google translate is not the best xD
Guess Ayu´s concert get´s cancelled the same reason.

So sad when things like that happens :( Hope the fans can get another concert to go!

Is it possible to get the ticket of chapter 3? Does anyone know which date has low strike rate?

I entered lottery for December 31st and January 5th. I was thinking of entering for December 25th too, but it's 2 1/2 hours away from where I live which would eat up 5 hours of my day just for travel alone. Probably best if I hold off and settle for the 31st and 5th (if I win the lottery).

So I went to Livepocket site this morning and reserved a ticket, or did I? I can't figure out if all of this is to get the chance to be able to buy a ticket or if I actually got the ticket with the chance to get it for free (in a lottery). Got things completed at 15:03 JST and also got a mail back. It's for the concert in Tokyo on December 31st.

In 2015 I saw Ayu in Osaka but the ticket I got was all the way in the back. Hoping I get the chance to see her again. I'm planing my trip to Japan and buying my flight ticket in just a few days.

It means that when you apply for the tickets, on the same page where you enter your credit card number there will be two more fields: ID and password. ID is your TA Number you should have received when you subscribed to Team Ayu and your password will be your date of birth. There are instructions in English on the page.

I applied to Jan 5 show in Saitama and also for Kyoto and Shiga shows. this time the venues are quite small so I guess there is chance even for foreigners to lose tickets.

Many overseas fans and local fans missed out on last year's 31/12 CDL as it was the last Yoyogi CDL.

Regarding the show, I am surprised that we are not seeing much of the set from the second chapter. I know it has been just a few shows, but I expected to see pictures the cross-performance already. The pics we have are gorgeous for now, but I have the feeling we saw more from the first chapter within two weeks, than from the second.

Yeah it's been mentioned they charge your card and there are no refunds. Honestly, it's a bit ridiculous if people enter a ton of dates without intent to attend all of them. You should first plan on how many shows you want to attend, expect to go to all of them, and if you're denied, you still have the other shoes to go to.

Just realize the election in japan is on 22 oct. any idea if it will affect the performance? I am going for Kobe one

She's changing up the setlist? I don't really like that, lol. The first day was perfect. I'm so glad she ended with MY ALL that day and not TODAY. It was absolutely perfect to hear her end with MY ALL when that was the same track she ended my first tour of hers with, and also considering I had been inserting it into my rotation a lot most recently.

lol I'm not one of the ones complaining about her setlists always being the same. I'd rather hear classics that are a solid 10, than recent obscure tracks that are a 3 at best.

Me too. I like SEASONS, but I'd rather it had replaced shake it, which is the song in the setlist I like least, instead of Dearest which is one of my favorites. Though this setlist is amazing, as Rock Ayu is my favorite Ayu (the band absence really bothers me though...)

I'm slightly conflicted about My All though. It is super over performed, kind of like mirrorcle world lately, but they're both solid songs and I always end up enjoying it because I know what to expect. I listen to her classics all the time, but I find I skip over a lot of her post 2010 work lately (especially the Made in Japan stuff) minus a few solid tracks.

I would like to see her pictures with "the washing machine" again.

I like the setlist in Shizuoka. It reminds me of Ayu's Rock style :D

I have tickets for next month at Ichikawa and for the dec 31st show :) even though it isn't a countdown, it's still going to be fun.

SAKURA is a about one of her drivers, if I remember right, who was with her for years and was a close friend to her. He died during A Best Live and that's why the song was axed.
