Mostly I think that it's due to seeing her look a little 'off' in these pictures. Also these pictures are the only way we see Ayu until she starts to promote again. Magazine shoot soon, please...

Can anyone translate what ayu wrote on her Ig Story? Her garden looked a huge one with those stairs covered in snow and the other one a pic in a room overlooking the garden

A lot of garages in Japan are more like car ports, that could be why there's open space. Though I didn't pay much attention to the video so not sure lol

There's also chin or jaw shaving in Asia, mainly popular in Korea, to make your chin more pointy and small.
It's a really dangerous procedure and afaik in most western countries medics don't use it. Ayu always looks different on pics and it's interesting that it's not happening with other artists so much. But in the end I personally don't care much. |
I think ayu didn't have enough time for recovery after surgery, so it's just photoshop

You can give the impression your face changed in photos eith the right lights + angle. You can use make up. You can use photoshop. You can use less invasive procedures like botox or fillings. You can use a mix of any of those things.
If she had plastic surgery as frequently as people around here tend to assume, I believe there wouldn't be tissue for the surgeons to work with at this point :P She would be Michael Jackson/Amanda Lepore level of deformed. |
I started looking to old pictures of her (during Secret era) and her chin looks the same as now. lol

I don't know what you guys see that's always so "PLASTIC!!!11" but I think she looks amazing. she may have done some procedures to her face that are obvious, but I don't think they're unflattering - if anything, she looks younger than ever

I know this is a decade ago, but usually you don't gain a sharper chin with age lol. I don't think she looks bad now, and I honestly don't have an issue with surgery. And it's very possible that fillers are used. Fillers are pretty magical. Haha. And yes, I know photoshop is still very possible. I'm just saying that, it's also very possible that it's not just photoshop and makeup tricks. |
