By the way, for those considering ordering the photobook through a proxy service, you might want to be quick about it!

7net has a 3 copies "per person" limit, and I think that extends to proxy services as well. I initially tried using FromJapan's proxy, but they ended up cancelling my request because they had reached the limit already.

Been busy the past weeks so pretty behind, but yeah the QR codes for the tickets are typically sent out a couple of days before the event. You must present the code on your cellphone or they won't accept it. Even if you present codes for you and your friend, they won't allow that either. Each person has to show their QR code on separate phones.

For those that have attended her February shows, were they pretty thorough with the ID checking? Did anyone notice people in line having issues with the ID checking? I know they offered the resale system for those with guests that can't attend, but it doesn't really give people a chance to give their spare ticket to another friend or family member. My 2nd ticket was registered under a family member who isn't going, so now all I can do is forfeit that ticket back into the lottery. A lot of fans on social media are in the same boat as me, begging to be allowed one transfer of their tickets. Maybe I'll call tickebo and beg to be allowed to transfer my 2nd ticket to my friend. Worst thing that can happen is they say no.

Also, not sure if people meant that the crowd energy was pretty dead for a Namie retirement tour, but in general Japanese people are very well behaved for concerts. They stay quiet and don't make noise while the performances are going. Theres some cheers and yelling in the little breaks in between and when they realize what song is starting from the background music, but mostly its just applauses. The only real noise they make is at the beginning of the show and the interlude between the concert & encore screaming chants of NAMIE.

I've seen these before, I remember male fans wearing them at the Live Style 2016 concert I attended. HAS ANYONE SEEN THESE BEING SOLD ONLINE??? I really really want one :(

When I went, they checked ID twice. One set of staff were at the entrance of the gate, checking your ID and (I'm guessing) to see whether or not it's expired. After that, you move onto the second set of staff stationed at the door who will scan your QR Code and verify that the name attached to the QR Code matches with your ID before they let you in. There was also a large sign at the entrance of every gate listing out all the acceptable forms of ID and that everything must have your picture and must not be expired. So I think they were pretty thorough.

Do they give you a printed ticket or something to know where you seat?

No printed tickets! When you download your QR Code image, it actually tells you your seat number right under it! Although without a map of the dome, it's hard to know beforehand where exactly you'll be.

Also regarding the behaviour of Japanese fans in concerts , I think it depends on the artiste & also the venue itself . I was physically pushed/shoved & the 1st time when that happened , I was caught off guard and I was so worried that I will get trampled on

YES! They checked very meticulously. They scanned my QR code and it took a few tries until the scanner read it properly, then they checked my name on my passport letter by letter very carefully.

Yep, beside the NAMIE chants and the clapping along to the beat and after each song, the only enthused engagement was during Chase the Chance and You're My Sunshine when we got to sing along with the 「Just Chase the Chance!」 and 「Yo!」which was mixed enthusiasm (could be wrong, I wasn't really paying attention to everyone else as I was fully into it)

Exactly right. I actually freaked out a bit because they didn't send the QR code until about 45 hours before the show started so I thought maybe there was a problem with my ticket.

Through my tickebo account. They sent an email saying the ticket is ready to be downloaded with a direct link to my tickebo order history. I didn't have SMS at all during my time in Japan, just a data plan, so they may have tried to SMS something from tickebo but I wouldn't have received it. (Don't think they did. I didn't see anything from them when I got my SMS back on. )

Just to illustrate how strict they check ID. From that email:
* We prohibit entering with the ticket downloaded with other member's user ID.
* We refuse your entrance if we discover that you transfer tickets. (No transfer accepted at any circumstances)

I assume if someone bought through that legit resale network they set up it'll be fine, otherwise you'll be refused entry with a transferred ticket

Hopefully someone can rip it!

She was so good last night at her Sapporo show! I especially love the latter half of the concert when she sang her older songs (Don't wanna cry, a walk in the park, etc.) and newest songs. The Fighter - In Two - Do It For Love combo gave me the most energy and really got the crowd jumping.

I'm not sure if she broke and cried during her previous shows (Fukuoka, Nagoya, Shenzhen, HK), but she did so when she sang the last verse of Finally finally I can stop dreaming and when she gave a send-off speech at the end. Everyone was in tears during those moments.

Can't wait til my next show in Osaka! Hopefully I get a better seat than last night's far-right seat.

I was avoiding this thread because I didn't want spoilers and finally I can read it again as I went to the Sapporo shows as well! I think I enjoyed a walk in the park the most because of how they showed dome tour 1997 and 2012 performances on the screen and how she mimicked what she did back then, like pushing her hair back at the exact same parts of the song. Was cute haha.

I had a bit of trouble with my ID check like I knew I would, name on ticket was in hiragana and ID was English so I had to go to the special line for confirmation. But I had third and seventh row seats!! so I was happy regardless :)

So final lotteries seem to take place approximately two weeks before the events? Wasn't it one week? Has anyone actually tried to re-enter lotteries to reassign registered tickets? I'm curious as to how likely it is that you can re-assign one of your guest tickets, if its an open lottery where you are up against the rest of Japan trying to get the tickets, seems very likely that you are not going to reclaim your guest ticket.

Yeah it goes back into lottery, but you can also reapply for 1 ticket to the lottery, hence it kinda felt like a lottery for ticket reassignment since lots of people on social media are begging to be able to reassign their tickets, but if its a general lottery where literally everyone is grabbing for the last tickets, it really feels like a slim chance you'll get your ticket back :eviltongu Maybe my fanspace membership will give me an edge? It seems fanspace members all benefited from their membership for the lottery, so maybe I'll still get lucky?

Ok, I'm disappointed with the H&M collab.
It's typical, basic H&M stuff and Namie is just the model.
Too bad. H&M had some really nice collabs in the past.

They told me to go to the troubleshooting line and I gave my ID/ QR code and explained it was written differently. They just had me scan it again and on the computer they checked my birthdate against my ID. I was let in fine after that! (Although the second day they asked me about my middle name lol) If I were you instead of going to the general entry line I'd just go straight to the troubleshooting line and save time.

Hey I just wanted to let you know that today at Osaka they are a bit more strict, so it might be different depending on the venue. They asked about my Japanese address so I gave them my (expired) zairyu card that had the address on it. Then they asked me to verify my Japanese phone number so just be prepared for that as well! :)

I don't know if you're allowed to queue overnight to buy concert goods in Japan , probably not ?

For events that happens in my country (be it queue up to buy the latest Samsung or iPhone handphones) , you're allowed to do that but not sure for Japan's case

So in the end I told her to help me buy the concert goods online as I will feel bad if she has to queue very long for me to buy them as she has no plans to buy anything for herself :x

People have already seen just how long the queues are & I'm sure the last stop of the tour ie. in Tokyo might be the most chaotic

I'm too old at 25 to line up for hours, let alone over night for a cloth patch on a piece of paper :D:D:D I'll see if I line on Thursday to get the shirt and the book, but the patch is a bit too time consuming haha.
