[BREAKERZ] The 40th thread - guitarist AKIHIDE's 7th solo album 星飼いの少年 (15.01.20)
Welcome to the 40th thread of 1 of JRock most talented trios :D :heart Band Formed in April 2007 , BREAKERZ is a J-rock trio that is made up of 3 gorgeous & extremely talented guys : frontman vocalist DAIGO & guitarists AKIHIDE and SHINPEI . BREAKERZ started off as DAIGO and SHINPEI's project . Meeting through a mutual friend and various recording sessions , they worked together to make a demo . DAIGO is in charge of music and lyrics while SHINPEI is in charge of arrangements . In the span of 1 month , they created 40 songs . Later on , they are joined by DAIGO's longtime friend who has worked many times with him in his band , songwriting , playing guitar and singing chorus . That is AKIHIDE & the 3 of them joined together to form BREAKERZ . The origins of BREAKERZ's name means "wanting to destroy" or "destroying once & for all" & connects breaking through genres & barriers . The original band's name was first spelled with an S but it was later changed to Z adopting the letter from B'z , which SHINPEI's a massive big fan of the duo . Incidentally , the band's name was derived even before SHINPEI joined . BREAKERZ's goal was to be like the musicians that they admire/respect such as hyde & Himuro Kyosuke . All arrangements are credited under BREAKERZ as so but it is the composer of the song who leads the arrangement , while the rest of the members fine tune the song while utilising their own ideas . Their music can't be described in just one word . It's a fusion mix of AKIHIDE's UK rock guitar sounds & SHINPEI's American rock guitar sounds which're both combined with DAIGO's somewhat sexy lush seductive voice xD . Despite having 2 guitarists in the group , AKIHIDE & SHINPEI have distinct display of flair with their guitar/s while onstage . AKIHIDE has been described as a guitarist that plays delicate pitch sounds & puts up unique performances while SHINPEI has been described as a guitarist who performs aggressively and powerfully . The band's historic debut is on 6 June 2007 with their first single WAKE UP MY SOUL / THE TRAIN's GONE ... became available on iTunes Japan . BREAKERZ is signed by ZAIN Records , a member of the Being Giza Group . The trio made their major debut with their self-titled debut album on July 25th 2007 . Their first live performance took place at SHIBUYA BOXX on August 5th 2007 . During live performances , the guys often wear prayer bead bracelets which were made by DAIGO's late maternal grandma . BREAKERZ doesn't have a permanent bassist nor a drummer in their duty roaster , so they use various support members when comes to recording of their material & also in live performances too . In Spring 2013 , BREAKERZ went on hiatus in which each member pursued solo activities and after their 1st countdown live BREAKERZ COUNTDOWN LIVE 2014-2015 concluded , BREAKERZ announced that they were making a full comeback and restarted their band related activities in mid 2015 with the release of a new single , a new album & a new live tour which they dubbed it as the trilogy comeback . BREAKERZ celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2017 with the release of Ikusen no Meikyuu de Ikusen no Nazo wo Toite in January followed by BREAKERZ 10 Shunen 10ban Shoubu -VS- which consists of them doing 10 concerts with 10 different artistes . In July 2017 , BREAKERZ released their 18th single Yume Monogatari on 12th July . Before a duo back to back concert BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary 【BREAKERZ X】 MEMORY & PROMISE that took place on 15th and 16th July respectively , BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary Live 【BREAKERZ X】 Warming Up Vol.2 took place on 6th July which's 1 day after AKIHIDE's birthday . In Oct 2017 , BREAKERZ released a 10th anniversary special album X (pronounces as Cross) on 18th Oct . X has 2 CDs , the 1st CD is titled 10th anniversary special collaboration album that includes 10 songs which BREAKERZ sang a different track during each of the 10 BREAKERZ 10 Shunen 10ban Shoubu -VS- concerts while the 2nd CD titled Request best includes 15 songs that fans selected/voted online as part of Fans' Select Best (in which each fan was able to vote a maximum of 3 songs to be included in X) . In Nov & Dec 2017 , BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2017 【X-cross-】 commenced . BREAKERZ starts off 2018 with the release of their 19th single D×D×D / GREAT AMBITIOUS -Single Version- on 7th March and this is their 1st double A-side single release since 2012's Overwrite / Nounai Survivor . The photos taken of DxDxD marks 3 different 1st's in the band's history AKIHIDE - dyed his hair blonde DAIGO - wore a red wig SHINPEI - photographed without his trademark sunglasses Following the release of D×D×D / GREAT AMBITIOUS -Single Version- in March , the members celebrated DAIGO's 40th birthday on 8th April with BREAKERZ LIVE 2018 ~DAIGO's 40th BIRTHDAY~ . The group's 2nd release of 2018 is BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary Live [BREAKERZ X] COMPLETE BOX that was released on 23rd May . Solo activities of each member took place in conjunction with band related activities in 2018 until mid July . In September , BREAKERZ embarked on BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 & this tour was to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the group's fanclub team brz since it 1st established on 1st September 2008 . Consisting of 5 dates , 2 different concerts took place on each BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 date ie. the 1st concert had an Acoustic Style while the 2nd concert had a Rock Style . My friend helped me get another autograph from the guys earlier on at Chiba's LaLaport Kashiwanoha
https://i.ibb.co/vx8ZYjc/1567914564659.jpg :love :love :love SHINPEI wrote my name down <3 I'm shocked when my friend told me that she'll be taking 2 photos with the guys today , 1 earlier on at Chiba's LaLaport Kashiwanoha and later on in the late afternoon at Saitama's AEON Lake Town o_O So my friend will take 4 photos with BREAKERZ in total :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao And that's a lot of Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori copies my friend purchased and here I thought I bought a lot :dead2 |
3rd photo my friend took with the guys earlier on at Chiba's LaLaport Kashiwanoha
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ED605pjU...jpg&name=small Heh & my friend's top matches the guys' outfits , colour wise xD My friend is already at Saitama's AEON Lake Town and she said currently only the CD + Photobook version of Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori is available at the release event venue :dead2 And right now she's hesitating if she want to take a 4th photo with the guys lmao :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao |
The last Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori release event at Saitama's AEON Lake Town kaze 3rd Floor Aeon Hall is going to start very soon
Taken at the venue https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ED7RZdJV...jpg&name=small https://twitter.com/larc01_brz/statu...03195803922433 Earlier on at Chiba's LaLaport Kashiwanoha after my friend took her 3rd photo with the guys , DAIGO said thanks to my friend while saying her name properly which felt weird xD Originally at AEON Lake Town , only the CD + Photobook version of Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori was available for sale But earlier on TSUTAYA Lake Town has restocked more copies of Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori regarding all 3 versions and my friend has bought 6 more copies of the CD only @_@ @_@ @_@ |

Barks on Wed published a long but yet insightful interview that they did with the guys in conjunction with the release of Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori
_kurosora @ Twitter translated some parts from the interview to English . Not the whole interview is translated but only certain portions that're interesting if not worth noting on While for the rest , it's contributed by me As with all translations , everything is not 100% accurate give or take Partial translations of the interview are in the spoiler Spoiler:
https://www.barks.jp/news/?id=1000171431 It's very interesting to find out the back stories behind the songs . If I didn't try my best to read the Barks interview , I wouldn't have guessed in reality Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori is a very old song o_o And it's so funny the way DAIGO trolled SHINPEI regarding BROKEN xD xD xD |
2 shot photo of DAIGO with Yamamoto Koji
From DAIGO's Instagram : https://instagram.fsin9-1.fna.fbcdn....et&_nc_cat=104 https://www.instagram.com/p/B2HKcmYjCfR/ I suppose if both men didn't had a meal together on the day before the Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori PV was filmed , Yamamoto Koji wouldn't have starred in the PV but it would have been DAIGO instead x) |
Unlike the last 10 Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori release events , for yesterday's last mini live setlist in Saitama , the guys performed acoustic versions of Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori & Milky Way !
https://twitter.com/JKs725/status/1170627591461453824 :love |

x-> 11 -> 13 -> 33 -> 13 -> 3 -> 3 http://tieba.baidu.com/p/6250914035 Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori yesterday sold 4,507 copies at its last 2 release events at Chiba & Saitama ! |

DAIGO posted this earlier on via Instagram
https://instagram.fsin9-1.fna.fbcdn....et&_nc_cat=111 Quote:
DAIGO wrote in the long Instagram caption that the blue bird painting that's seen at the end of Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori PV symbolises hope & dreams |
Audio tracks of Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori have been uploaded online (not by me)
https://twitter.com/Hikarinoakaris/s...24906105348096 And I'm currently in the processing of editing my LiveJournal related entries to the single as I just realised I wrote the wrong song title down @_@ It's Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori , not Yamino ni Mau Aoi Tori xD |
Been quite a long time since DAIGO overspammed online
Among the nonsense DAIGO posted on Twitter today was this https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EEAVoG4V...jpg&name=small https://twitter.com/Daigo19780408/st...59691746168832 DAIGO stopped by Tower Records Shibuya a few mins in the afternoon and for Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori , the store only had CD + Photobook version available in stock CDJapan doesn't have anymore stock of the CD only with the trading card as for that it's a 1st press bonus aspect of Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori |
Been quite a long time since DAIGO last overspammed online , let alone on Twitter
So for 'better' (or for worst ? xD) , that happened today on Twitter with DAIGO documenting his 'misadventures' , starting with stopping by Shibuya 1st : https://i.ibb.co/xMVsd9K/EEAVclq-U8-AEwc-EW.jpg https://twitter.com/Daigo19780408/st...59494601330693 2 different typhoons are currently hitting Japan in different prefectures but looks like the weather cleared up when DAIGO was in Shibuya in the afternoon . Aside from stopping by Tower Records Shibuya briefly , DAIGO also went to watch the Dragon Quest: Your Story movie : https://i.ibb.co/fYXSYzD/EEAWP8-CU4-AAIU-4.jpg https://twitter.com/Daigo19780408/st...60377489707008 Some Twitter users online were wondering was it Keiko that took the above photo ? xD And then DAIGO went to get a medical drip after the health scare he had during July's Shakunetsu no REAL SUMMER PARTY 2019 :s https://i.ibb.co/b6H2scg/EEAZDor-UYAAIm-Uy.jpg https://twitter.com/Daigo19780408/st...63463104917504 |
DAIGO's last 4 Twitter posts last night centred on playing with Keiko's pet cat Jill at home
https://twitter.com/Daigo19780408/st...47920151318528 https://twitter.com/Daigo19780408/st...49170880217088 https://twitter.com/Daigo19780408/st...49818824704000 https://twitter.com/Daigo19780408/st...52705072074752 And that concluded DAIGO's 'misadventures' yesterday , xD |
2 different typhoons hit Japan in different prefectures over the weekend & yesterday
And unfortunately , Kanagawa's OTODAMA SEA STUDIO was destroyed by 1 of the typhoons yesterday :x OTODAMA SEA STUDIO was the venue where Shakunetsu no REAL SUMMER PARTY 2019 + fanclub event Yuugure no AFTER SUMMER PARTY 2019 took place And this Twitter user yesterday shared photos of OTODAMA SEA STUDIO , wreckage wise https://twitter.com/KIMAKUREI/status...99904031416320 That's really awful but at least nobody got seriously hurt , things could have been much worst :x |

http://tieba.baidu.com/p/6251744256 That's awesome , congrats to BREAKERZ ! and Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori 1st week sales is their highest since 2013's RUSTY HEARTS ! Not only that , Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori 1st week sales outsold the total sales of what the guys' last 5 singles sold as well Guess getting Yamamoto Koji to star in the PV and also the crazy number of release events the guys did helped Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori a great deal woo |
SID's Mao & Yuya were featured on Sun's OHAYO-WISH!! radio show that's hosted by DAIGO

https://instagram.fsin9-2.fna.fbcdn....et&_nc_cat=106 Genta Aoki's Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B2G0eoKn_kk/ Weird that Genta Aoki's copy wasn't signed by DAIGO :p Let alone how's it possible DAIGO is 41 in the photo with Genta ? So unfair @_@ |

BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2019 -Seeking the Blue Bird- concert goods list
https://i.postimg.cc/JzB1GcDw/120919-1.jpg Spoiler:
https://i.ibb.co/kJQV5rz/banner-stbb.jpg Not surprised a lot of blue is incorporated into the latest batch of concert goods as this will make SHINPEI very happy as blue is his favourite colour :D But anyway I really like the new tour logo , it's very pretty ! And this's the 1st time I've seen the guys' concert T-shirt sold for ￥5,000 as their past concert T-shirts were between the price range of ￥3,500 to ￥3,800 :O Regarding the random shot allocation of both photosets A & B , it's almost the same thing the guys did regarding last year's TEAM BREAKERZ 10th Anniversary Thanks ☆ Raw Photoset from their BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 +_+ It could have been much worst as instead of 20 , probably 40 random shots could have been included instead haha :p It's still a bit disappointing that the guys stopped making pamphlets for their concert/tours but considering not everyone is willing to pay due to the rather steep cost , I guess they rather focus on gachagacha that's more cheaper but much easier to sell (let alone to get bankrupt easily from just playing the gachagacha machines alone @_@ ) I haven't decided what concert good/s to buy yet but the keyholder is very pretty & I probably will get that alongside with others x) |
This Twitter user posted a not that good photo that she secretly took at July's Shakunetsu no REAL SUMMER PARTY 2019 :
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EECHyITU...jpg&name=small https://twitter.com/nana64548884/sta...85204443631616 Considering the Japanese media didn't post any photos or report from Shakunetsu no REAL SUMMER PARTY 2019 (probably due to Being's request in line with DAIGO's health scare he suffered from the concert) , this's better than nothing I don't know if the photo was taken before or after DAIGO's health scare but at least you can see that even though he wore sleeveless just like SHINPEI , he can't escape from the severe humidity within Kanagawa's OTODAMA SEA STUDIO :x |

BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2019 -Seeking the Blue Bird- Day 1 setlist
Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori (Opening intro only) 1) Gekijou 2) NEXT LEVEL 3) Ao no Mirai 4) BIG BANG! 5) Dark Night 6) NEVER ENDING STORY 7) Atarashii Sekai e Atarashii Jidai e 8) Re:born Guitar Battle 9) hEaVeN 10) I feel ... 11) Zettai! I LOVE YOU 12) Ikusen no Meikyuu de Ikusen no Nazo wo Toite 13) DEAR LIAR 14) NO SEX NO LIFE 15) BROKEN 16) Milky Way 17) Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori https://twitter.com/kb37ys_a/status/1173580407050104833 Wow Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori as both the opening & closing of the concert , how interesting And Gekijou as the opening number never goes wrong and so happy to see hEaVeN as it's super duper under-rated ;__; Dark Night & NEVER ENDING STORY are the 2 odd choices but other than that , classics like NEXT LEVEL , Ao no Mirai , I feel... (!!!) are always welcome , same thing with DEAR LIAR and NO SEX NO LIFE :luv2 Real surprised Shakunetsu is excluded from the setlist as that's always almost in the guys' setlist but not this time round which's so unusual The Twitter user didn't state which's the encore segment but probably Milky Way onwards Lastly yay for Guitar Battle and AKIHIDE always wins , sorry SHINPEI ahahaha :p xD |

At 1st , I thought the left photo might be from this year's BREAKERZ Valentine Cruise ♥ fanclub event but doesn't seem like it :O Looking forward to see the rest of the 18 photos in due time , hopefully x) The Twitter user wrote that it was the 1st time in a very long time he attended a concert of the guys & his sister managed to get hold of SHINPEI's guitar pick today inside Sapporo Penny Lane 24 and in return , she gave it to the Twitter user :) |

In the 2nd week of release , Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori now stands at number 179 & sold 187 copies
1st week sales/ranking - 10 ; 14,772 2nd week sales/ranking - 179 ; 187 Total 2 weeks sales - 14,959 http://tieba.baidu.com/p/6257649142?pn=2 Oof I know that the guys' releases always drop like crazy after the 1st week of release , sales wise :dead2 And seeing how big of a drop Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori experienced in the 2nd week , this further proof how much of a difference it makes when comes to them doing release events promo They can choose not to do release events promo but they do it to get the word out & also they genuinely like doing it as it's 1 way to bond with fans Other artistes choose not to do release events promo but not BREAKERZ :) Despite this , Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori is still overall the guys' best selling single release since 2013's RUSTY HEARTS |
