I saw this on insta from someone and instantly thought it was fake, someone's bad attempt at photoshoping her face onto another body. Graphic design was never a strong side of j-pop, but at least they tend to get the styling and a picture right, but this, this is so BAD. LOL Cool that we'll have new music, although the description "dance tune" doesn't sound very promising. But yay for new music!

I don't know how many people here already heard the song (from the concert), but I'd personally say that it's not really much of an R&B track at all. I think the description is rather misleading in that sense.

Am I the only one who likes the cover? lol The song reminds me a lot of Namie's duet with Ken Hirai (Grotesque) and also a bit of the sound from her compilation Checkmate. Not really a huge fan, but at least it's something new for her> I just wish she'll try something more modern and not stuff from 10 years ago. The breakdown is really nice though!

I think One Night Carnival could be on the new album since the other two covers were also on a tribute album before landing one A ONE/MIJ.
With Haru Yo, Koi she might want to keep it on A BALLADS 2 since it's already on one of her releases, but then again, she might pull a You & Me 2.0, who knows. "Pray for you" was obviously just a concert thing & I don't want or see MY ALL (Chinese ver.) making it on the album. And I think Toniayu123 is right in that if she only wanted to give us 3 more songs, they'd be releasing the album sooner than that, since Ayu has recorded several tracks already. I know many of you are just joking but come on, let's have some faith! |

The amount of photoshop and particulartly airbrush is way too much on that cover. She's such a natural beauty I don't understand...
Next release there won't be any separation between her jaw and her neck seriously. The hard white light / levels are not helping either. The recent "all pink" picture was more interesting as a cover than another beauty shot IMO. But at least that beauty shot is not beige and the infamous fishlips are nowhere to be found. They may keep the pink picture for the DVD release... Watching the stream and witnessing a live performance of a brand new song felt like the good old days. It was so exciting! Can't wait to hear the studio version !!! |
I'm still hoping the pink picture is from the clip tbh, but it seems to match the theme they gave this specific date on the tour, so I'm bracing myself for it just being the DVD cover.

The song is pretty fine (it gives me Lady Dynamite/any song from NEXT LEVEL vibe) but I hope her vocals in studio version will be better, cause its the main thing why i hate Lady Dynamite. The 2nd part of the live is pretty good vocally though, the opening was not so good.

I could be completely wrong but at some point towards your question marks I hear "it's beautiful because its not perfect" (kanpeki janai kara utsukushii), not sure if the grammar even makes sense but it seems to fit the theme if she's talking about real life. |

The thing is it feels just like Dreamed a Dream and 23rd Monster again, it's not being really promoted, she only posted about it after the concert and that was it, I doubt there's any kind of promo in the streets for general public, if you're not a TeamAyu member or happen to follow her on social media you wouldn't even know she's releasing a new single this week nor an album this autumn, I hope Avex makes some hype for her later. |

I think the definition of "high budget" is debatable. I mean, LOVE again trilogy seems to be high budget (it was recorded overseas, with different locations), but it's not "seen" as it because of its sober and realistic visuals.
