I got this picture from 'Perfect ayu' .. a fan site that goes up and down at random times o.O They seem to have a really big gallery .. but it's hard to get it to ever work ._.

I also included a picture of her when she was a teenager >.<

its kinda creepii to see her with black hair.....it looks sooo werid....haha..^^;; but shes still kawaii ^o^

Wow this picture is almost proof enough to think she never did any plastic surgery at all.

She's always had really big eyes ... also she looks the same in that pic as recent pics .. her nose .. lips .. smile .. it's all in how she holds her face when she smiles and does other expressions

Gosh her eyes were huge even back then. Some bios refer to her being bullied a little at school, I expect it was because of those (now wonderful and envied) eyes of hers.

Just imagine ... some of you who are still at school might just be sitting next to a future worldwide star.

I think this is proof that Ayu didn't have any eye surgery... she looks so pretty in the picture too!!

She looks so cute in the toddler picture! Her face has matured since she was a teenager, but I agree, it looks like she hasn't had surgery on her face at all...

That adolescent picture of Ayumi looks a LOT like the now Ayumi!! The Now Ayu just wears a lot of makeup and does her hair really pretty-ly.

I was going to say the same as akatsuki did.

Apparently some asian parents will opt to have their childern to undergo the eye surgery as infants/toddlers since they believe that their offspring would be more successful as a person being beautiful and having wide, round eyes (unless of course Time Asia likes lying about these things), blah blah blah. In articles about her past, it was said that her mother did dress her up fashionably (labeling her as a bad student by peers/teachers for not conforming) and would dye her hair (again, thought to be a punk because of this), maybe she had the same idea as the aforementioned adults about taking care of her appearance. Eye-alteration is the only cosmetic surgery I think she had.

That doesn't mean to say that I don't think that she looks very cute and that she wouldn't put me into a diabetic shock t'were I around to hear her babble.

I don't think it's surgery, it's just the wonders of make up. Some Asians just have naturally big eyes, like myself.

It looks like Ayumi had big eyes as a little toddler, so I say that she didn't get surgery. And it she did, that's her decision to make :)

Well, she did grow up, but regardless of how she looked back then, I like her for how she looks now :)

Curious (all the asians I've met have the eyes with the fold naturally, none of them have round eyes).... well i'll take your word on it :D I have very round eyes (some people say I look like a chipmunk due to that and my puffy cheeks, buggers) but I attribute that to my half-asian-ness (but that means I'm tall! =D)

She looked cute when she was younger, and the teen pic looks much the same as now, except for make-up and hair colour.

Creases.. yes, we do, but my eyes are pretty round o_o;; I'm about 88% Asian and the rest is white :P

I've seen some half-Asians and they have pretty round eyes :eek Half Japanese are beautiful though :D

How cuuuuuuuuute! I love those pictures! Thank you! But I still think that Ayu got eye surgery, there's no way that she didn't. Eyes mature with age, so I'm sure she had her eyes then, then they matured, then she changed them again.

i do believe that she had surgery on her eyes by comparing her new and old pictures. Her eyes got bigger as time goes by...i think she enlarged her eyes a little bit, so its hard for people to notice that..

Frankly, I could care less if she had any surgery. If that's what she wants, fine - she's got the right. Besides, it isn't her appearance that earns my respect, so it's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.

from the pics, she has always had big eyes and tall nose. i think it is safe to say that she hasnt had plastic surgery....major ones anyway
