It's hard to tell with these kind of pics if it's who they claim it is, a couple of them look like Ayu, but a couple of them look like some kind of cheap look-alike.

The TeamAyu message could shed some light on this, but since I don't understand it, perhaps someone here can help translate it.

Ayu can go and visit any bar she wants and/or get drunk and whatever but the way things are stated by that article makes things look honestly fake. And for those who are defending the fact that it is normal for ayu to go to a gay bar, the article is talking about it not in a natural way but in an insulting one. They used the words gay, drunk and "was talking about people she didn't like" as negative terms - their intention is to shock and make things look bad (2 basic principles of a tablois). That isn't just a tabloid, it's also homophobic and it says stupid things. You can believe if you want though, everyone is entitled to their opinions anyway. But at least add some criticism when read things instead of passively absorbing information.

What would happen if this was actually true? I mean, while it's great to support Ayu (or anyone else you may like), do remember that Ayu isn't perfect. At times, she does make mistakes and she does do things which some of us may question of object. Ayu seems to mention the incident in the TeamAyu article, so I'm hoping that someone can translate it and help clarify the situation.

But what if it's true? There seems to be quite a bit of doubt that Ayu could ever do such a "shocking!!!111!!!!one!!!" thing as going to a bar. Sure, it's from a chinese tabloid, and we usually know that most of the time, they print false info, but this is where the "what if" scenario comes in. Few seem to accept the possibility that may... just maybe... this is true. I'm reminded of the tabloid from last year when Ayu was riding on Nagase's back and I believe that was true. The tabloid however points things with zero to none credibility. it fails to answer basic questions that a decent news report must have. "ayu was caught in a gay bar." WHICH BAR? If they took those pics why can't they say the name of the bar? "ayu sang her own song" WHICH SONG? Can't they tell what song it was? If they know who ayu is, they can check which song did she ctually sing and make a much more complete news however it focuses only on what they consider bad aspects: ayu drinking, gay bar, ayu smoking, saying bad things about other people.

I go to gay bars, I occassionally drink, I sometimes smoke while I'm drinking (it heightens the experience so to speak). It's just apart of being young. She's still in the age to go out and have fun so no biggie in my eyes.

I dunno about you guys but I think she looks great in that pic with the tube top + mini. She's more or less hinted at partying pretty hard (well, it's all relative) in some of her interviews, saying that she really likes to drink and so on. She has a right to have fun like any normal person. This incident should make all her fans realize that not only is she not perfect, she knows what she likes and does it well. ;) It seems like her management team is easing up on keeping her image squeaky-clean, this really humanizes her. Guess what... Ayu's gonna be 26 very very soon. She's a big girl, she can do what she wants. It's really none of my concern and it shouldn't be of anyone else's concern but Ayu's.

I think the main point out of all of this seems to be the "shock value"... the "omg, ayu's drinking!! nooooo!!1111!!" If Ayu drank all the time, most people here probably wouldn't care and would just think "there she goes again!", but to my knowledge, this is the first time that there've been actual pics of her drinking (at a bar, no less). Sure, she's old enough to be drinking (if anything, I would've been surprised if she hadn't been drinking yet), but once again, it's just something you don't see everyday in the ayu community. None of us can stop her from doing this as I don't think any of us know her personally. Until then, all we can do is watch from afar and hope she'll be ok.

yeah , I'm 18 and I go clubbing and to bars with my friends and I get drunk too , more or less. I'm planning on going next friday :)

btw i'm legal age here where I live.

only bad thing about people getting drunk is that if you can't control your drinking and are not aware of your own limits you can get too drunk , and that's so lame in many ways :rolleyes
