CAROLS week 2 sales
 

Sorry if this got posted already, but I didn't see it anywhere and I saw this on Oricon's site--

week 1 = 177,778
week 2 = 47, 876
total = 225,654

yea ...... its not getting far is it .......

it is just week two, maybe it will improve...

It's hard to improve if its already on #3 on the second week, unless Ayu releases another version of CAROLS single (e.g: different covers etc.)... So lets hope CAROLS sold better in the 3rd week. Anyway, Ken Hirai's new single doesn't sell as much as Ayu does, yet.

well. I still congradulate on the sell =)

I think this is really good considering how sales are at the moment for all singers... except with the one or 2 exceptions i.e. Ken Hirai's Hitomi wo Tojite and Kou Shibasaki's Katachi Arumono which had very good tie-ins darn cheaters hahaha jk jk

Could you give a specific link on the Oricon site where you get stats? I can't seem to find where you can get figures for sales. :shrug

wew... im so glad.. that I help that sales with 2 carols cds... (my bro bought n me bought it too) ehauehuae even it dropped but im sure Itll sell better than forgiveness ^^

That's not really that bad. The single market is really bad...people don't buy them.

I mean...in the US, singles are practically non-existant, so I still say she's doing quite well.

I guess the true measure will come when she releases a new album.

Yikes, what a dip in sales! Oh well, 47,876 is still a lot of CDs if you think about it.

Well Namie single Just dropped and she's Number 1!

The fall always seems to be a slow time for singles, so I think she's going quite well. Maybe not as great as in the past, but it's still great.

CAROLS deserves to sell more than INSPIRE and Moments combined... -_-

maybe september is a quiet time for the market...forgiveness was released in late august and it sold badly...

just a slow start i suppose .. it really depends on when things are released i think. if a single or an album were to be released during the holiday season, i think the numbers would be much higher than it is now .. things will get better. :yes

aww... tt was rather a sad news... :( i was so positive about its sales initially.. but lets hope it is selling better for the next week in Japan...

I don't know why a number of people tend to whine about the sales of CAROLS IN PARTICULAR. So far CAROLS HASN'T been doing any WORSE than Moments and INSPIRE, unless you count on those few thousands of copies.
