Hilary Duff or Lindsay Lohan?
 

haha, i was watching VH1 and they had this show with celebrity battles. they were talking about whether hilary or lindsay was the next britney..both girls are actors turned singers and have a growing fan base. what do you guys think? i personally like lindsay lohan better. :P

lindsay can sing better...lindsay's a better actress too..but Hilary's more popular for some reason..o.o

I like Lindsay's acting better, but I don't like her personality. Some of the things they say about her in the papers and stuff..... she's out of control. it might not be true what they say tho. I don't really care about either of them much tho

I don't like either of them. Hilary Duff looks like Ayumi from her Long Blonde Days. That's what my friend said. And it does look true.

I used to like Lindsay, but when I saw her video on MTV.. I nearly died.
Come on, if she is talking about the papprazzi and wanting them to leave her alone, than.. uh, then stop being an actress. I hate when people complain, especially celebrities about being stalked. They chose to be an actor, they have to suffer the concequences of being one :| Sorry it's such a harsh statement, but it's my opinion.

I then changed to Lindsay. Not so good fashion choices, partying, dodgy boyfriend? Getting close to Mrs Federline.

In the sense of Britney as a huge celebrity I really can't guess. I thought it would be Lindsay because of her movie success and because she seemed to get more respect from 20+ people (I used to see a lot of 'Lindsay the next Julia Roberts' talk on movie forums right after Mean Girls was released). I've been starting to doubt that though. Hilary's image seems to be in better shape right now, and that does matter. If Lindsay just parties with the Hiltons she might lose the advantage she had.

Hilary and Lindsay have a chance of becoming Britney-famous, they just need something (a blockbuster movie, a major hit album) that even those who aren't part of their usual audience can recognize them from. But it's probably an either-or situation. I doubt they'll both be massive stars five years from now.

I never cared about stuff like that. I don't like both just like I don't like Britney (too many like's for me in one sentence:) But I think that there won't be (for now) a singer as much popular as Britney... She was the first sweetie, blondie, pinkie, girlie singer and she was too cute to be good. So no one can be next Britney. It's impossible! (I don't say it's good to be Britney, don't get me wrong)

I don't think anyone can be Britney just like no one can be the next Ayu...they are unique enough (but not necessariry in a good way ;)) to save themselvs from copycats.

I like lindsay's acting for the "Mean girls" it was awsome and hilarious! i repeated it quite a few times. For music, i would choose to listen to hilary duff. her voice is more...compelling and interesting, yet on the other hand, you see lindsay with boobs and stuff..more like she's the next britney. just watch new "rumors" videos, i see some "i'm a slave for you".

I saw Mean Girls for the first time last night and I loved it! It was an all around great movie, and very funny too. But... I still like Hilary. You just can't beat those catchy tunes!

I really like both of them (I used to love "Lizzie McGuire"!) but I'd say Lindsay has the chops to attract a more mature audience just because of the body on her! She's so pretty, I'm kinda jealous, lol. I see Lindsay doing more acting than singing, though, it seems like the CD is more of a hobby.

Personally, I think Hilary Duff is better. I think Lindsey Lohan is a bit too fake for me, Hilary seems more natural or more herself. I've seen her concert DVD and I've sometimes watched Lizzy Maquire, so I guess I'm more used to her. Plus shes pretty funny, a girl that can make me laugh wins my heart lol:luv2

Have you ever heard them sing live? Not lipsynching, but LIVE. Nope, I haven't. My cousin has Hilary Duff's concert DVD and she lipsynched through the whole thing. I didn't hear a song that sounded different from the album. :eviltongu

Lindsay Lohan fits in both categories, whereas Hilary Duff is the ideal image for young girls in every mother's eyes, and it matters not if she's 'chubby' or 'fat'; she's just got big hips, the poor girl. :( hehe. I agree. Hilary still have a child-like voice. Jojo has a great voice but i think she's wasting her time trying to be ghetto-like and famous while she's messing up her teenage years. Those kids need to get more education. Well, i'd prefer being smart than famous. Go back to school for crying out loud.

And also, I felt like it was kind of copying Britney who released My Prerogative. Both songs have much the same idea.
