J-pop/rock Xmas Songs Threath
 

I hope this threath get enough attendance[or whatever xD]
Xmas is comming and i would like to have a cd copillationg with xmas songs, but this time i want a j-pop/rock compillation sooo...
i would like to get some names[even better the links xD...] to d/l em' later or i dunno, i think i have just 3...or 4...so... yeah, lets make this threath usefull for everybody ;x

i dunno, hope u like the idea...[i was wondering if this should be in this forum or d/ls...but since i'm not uplaoding anthing...;/]

well, I think Ayu's one and BoA's songs have been covered. How about Ayu's POWDER SNOW? ok, that song wasn't really wintery but I think it's kind of wintery, maybe because of the PV.

I thought that M would be kind of good too, because of the overall feeling, I mean winter doesn't have to be subtle, it can be kind of rockish too right? There's also this special christmas wintery mix for M but I forgot what the name of the mix was ...

I think RING by B'z is kind of good too for winter. Mika's Oborodukiyo~Inori could also be another great winter song, especially the acoustic version.

I like this song as a Jrock song.

Ryuichi Sakamoto played it on HEY!x3..it was on a J-Trance X-Mas CD or something, and then Yoyo Ma played it xD That's all I know about it. ^^;;

Yup. And Ryuichi Sakamoto. The movie called 'Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence', directed by Nagisa Oshima. Brilliant movie. The soundtrack was done by, surprise surprise, indeed Ryuichi Sakamoto. Brilliant soundtrack. It's an instrumental track though; there's two vocal tracks on the album, one that's not so interesting for this thread, the other one is though. It's basically 'Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence', but with vocals by David Sylvian, and it's called 'Forbidden colours'. Brilliant song. Hear it.

On a sidenote, Kitano's brilliant in this movie.

That song "shiroi koibitotachi" that Ayu performed with Chemistry on HEYx3...I forget the original artist. And Speed's "White Love" and maybe a couple other songs.
