HELP!!! My dearest single won't play song 11!!!
 

what's wrong with my CD please can someone tell me?????

I played the whole album till song number 10, but song 11 "the bonus track" never played.

mmh I think is because my stereo is old... but then i tried my my computer (mac) i didn't read song 11 either??

am i doing something wrong? please someone little help!!!

You have yourself a defect, some copies didn't have the song put on it.

The defects only occurred in the Japanese version.

I don´t think it´s a limited track, because I ordered Dearest Japanese version from yesasia about 1 month ago and it plays the 11th track...

*wipes forehead* you guys saying your dearest [japan version] works makes me feel a LOT better.

Also, that single is copy protected, and sometimes I believe copy protection can affect the last track. I for example can't rip track 11 to my PC, but I can play it. I think MACs can't play the copy protected cd's either or something, but I'm not sure.

I also have the Japanese version and it plays just fine.
Except since I've been buying Japanese CDs my stereo has been acting weird. Especially on A BALLADS and Memorial address, it goes to 9 seconds on the first track and just stops playing. This happened for a long time, and then it just skipped all the time on the first track on any Ayu CD, and then it started happening to ALL my CDs, and.... well, it's frustrating... but my Dearest bonus track works just fine.

I don;t know... I have the Japanese version of "Dearest" but it's unopened so I don't know if it does include the 11th track :P

it might be because you're on a Mac. copyright protection and such. have you tried to play it on a CD player/PC?

i have overseas version of LOVEppears and it has the "first booklet with the cool pictures" o_O;

well mine dosen't that's why it is special... only happened to the overseas version... i read it at enebba..

and yes it is listed on the paper printed. and nop nothing reads.. the song only appears 10 songs.

To clarify a few things. Dearest is not copy-protected, the scheme wasn't introduced until sometime in 2002, Dearest was released on 2001.09.27. (I only remember this date because 3 items was released on the same day :P)

"Dearest- Acoustic Piano Version" is not limited, it's only a bonus track that should be on all discs. However, soon after it was pressed it's been announced that there was defect batch in the market without the bonus track.

And yesasia wouldn't write back, there's a policy on their Help page, if you have a defect item, you can try to send it back and ask for an exchange, but you pay for your own shipping. They never bothered to reply me when my MISIA single was missing 2 tracks.

really really interesting.... mmh i think there no way to know wich single i'd get if i order again... :S that's really wrong of yesasia to not know this... or eve if they did they should have change this somehow. i don'tknow...

'Cyber Trance presents Ayumi Hamasaki' & 'Ayu-ro Mix 2' was released on the same day as 'Dearest'.

They took the singles chart No.1, and album charts No.1 & 3 on the first day if I remembered correctly. :P

Ahh cool, too abd those remix albums dont sell nowadays...

Personally, I didnt like Cyber Trance 1, the songs were too short! :o

k you are so right. dearest is NOT copy protected, i dont know why everyone is saying it is!!! just take out your cd and look!!
