Oh My WOW! I don't know how you found out about those, but thanks! I don't really feel like I'm cheating either (hearing the album before I get my hands on it) because they are just 30 second clips. I'm only through 2 tracks so far, but they sound great and are definitely the real thing! :)

I went through all the tracks. I don't wanna be pessimistic, but the only songs that I think I will like (judging from the previews) are the ones released in CMs. Hope or Pain sounds ok.. but I expected sooo much more. The last 3 tracks are too "greatful days-ish" to me. Let's wait and see how the full versions turn out to be.

-humming 7/4 sounds like independant meets because of you. o_o everybody go! everybody jump! -my name's women sounded so much better in teh cm! :weep -wonderland does not go with teh flow of the cd imo. in the middle of fast songs is a little melodic xylophone beat? ummm. -about you's chorus doesnt seem to fit the verse from the preview -catcher in the light sounds like an intro to me. -replace, liar, hope and pain, and happy ending sound great! imo, overall the album was much "pop"-er than usual. the whole first chunk of the album is extremely good, but the last 5 or so songs arent sparking anything. maybe ill have to listen to the whole album. i can not wait!!!! |

Is it just me or does My name's Women is much slower than the one from the CM. They probably sped it up to fit 30 sec. I think the pace from CM fits the song more.

As people have mentioned about my name's WOMEN sounding slower on the clip, does anyone else think that About You sounds a bit faster on the clip? I dunno...the CM version of my name's WOMEN sounds better so far just because it has more power, but it could have been a refrain farther into it, and I think the clip of About You sounds better than the CM. Oh well. It doesn't change the songs, and this stuff is just GREAT. I'm lost for words. It's like Ayu's taken everything she's done really well and fused it together for this album. Wonderful. ^-^ |

At first glance, hey! Nice titles (Catcher In The Light was a surprise! Sounds sweet and intelligent), though I regarded HONEY with lots of dread. Of the new songs, HOPE or PAIN and HAPPY ENDING stand out the most to me… And Humming 7/4, of course (admit it, it's too damned addictive for anyone to not sing along after one listen!). The others were great, too, or at least very listenable! Can't have too many outstanding songs on one album, otherwise it'd feel a bit weird… The songs which have been released sound as wonderful as they were pre-album, although the previews covered different parts of the CM themes. Plus I must say how surprised I am to know MY STORY has only two instrumental tracks (WONDERLAND and Kaleidoscope)! Two out of seventeen, wow! And they're really soothing, somehow… The beginning was more rock than the ending, but there seems to be a definite progression from rock to pop. Everybody go, everybody jump! Make a pre-order now! |

ok so I lied. I had to hear them. I'm really liking how About You is going to sound... I also like the sounds of Liar, HOPE or PAIN, walking Proud HONEY sounds like Angel's Song to me And you know, humming 7/4 sounds like Independent+ and Flower Garden..so I'm thinking it MAYBE might have the extra song at the end. This looks like a good album though, I always love hearing new Ayu songs |

XD Okay, I really liked: Catcher in the Light About You my name's WOMEN walking proud HONEY winding road Humming 7/4 Replace and Liar were okay, and of course Kaleidoscope was beautiful. I'm definitely looking forward to this album now. However...that cover... :no And I agree that it sounds like some typical J-pop in places...but I really don't mind, since I like that style in moderation. |

edit: Okay, we have some nice songs here. My favorite seems to be about you... but uh, can you say copy? HONEY should be GREATFUL DAYS II. =/ I dunno I'm not too impressed with this one. I really like about you, but things seem to be going down hill. I mean last year wasn't so great, but uh... I dunno. I don't like the direction she's heading in. Although, knowing it IS ayu she may change again, but she's different now, so I don't know. |
^ About the going down hill thing, even if this ends up being disappointing, her post-album singles are usually very very good. :D (M, Free & Easy, RAINBOW & Moments)
