Surprisingly, I'm not that fond of this cover. As yall have said, the makeup is abit... weird. And it seems as if she's trying too hard to look sexy for this. *shrugs*

I think i've figured out what's wrong with the cover.It simply lacks substance - there's no message being put across like her album covers. It's just Ayu trying too hard to look like some hot sexy vamp. Blehh.

My first impression was "uh..." but I'm beginning to like it. And remember, the first press (CD+DVD) has 4 different versions. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy all 4.. a large amount of $$$ ;_;

Err! I knew today was too good to be true. Good news, good songs, good scans, I guess I had to be a little disappointed with something, and I'd much rather it be the cover of the album than what's inside it. I got my hopes up a little with all her magazine shoots lately, I've loved all of them and I guess I was expecting something like that for her cover. I don't know, I guess I don't think she has to put that much makeup on to be sexy. Thanks for the pic though.

hmm..I don't really think the other covers will be much different than that one. Has it ever been? By seeing one A BALLADS/A BEST cover you could kinda guess how the others would look like. For MY STORY I don't think it will be any different. Sorry for all those who still seem to have some hope on the others being anything different. It could be...but the chances seem really slim.

I actually like the cover but... it's kind of clear that Ayumi is trying too hard to be sexy. Not that I'm surprised, it's a recent trend of hers with all the push-up bras she's been wearing.

Why are you all morons. I don't understand why you think she's trying "to hard to be sexy." Wow, she's wearing a semi-bright colored lipstick and some blush. Did everyone run around saying "****! ****!" when LOVEppears came out? I'm surprised that hasn't even been brought up. Most of the time she's practically nude in her covers anyway ("I am..." [wearing leaves], "RAINBOW", topless in "LOVEppears", etc). This cover just tends to lack any real artistic concept (that is until we see the booklet). It's not the best, but people don't need to be screaming about it, especially compared to past covers.

Personally, it's okay, not her best (practically on the same level with the "&" cover). But I don't think she looks ****ty or "too sexy" because she's wearing a little make-up.

I don't like this cover. Ayu has the "I just had sex" look. It's just not her, and like mentioned, her covers usually have a message, but this one sure doesn't.....at least not that I can tell.

other people said ayu has this 'i just had sex' look, ad i kind of agree. the whole cover lacks artistic value. no content, no design. instead they have heavy make up, stupid picture with ayu's head in it, very bad facial expression. and if the 4 covers are equally bad, i would hope ayu would release a best of cd again in march next year so i have something to look forward to
