What ya guys think about the PV ? I think its really great...but its kinda complicated though..... =/ Anyone care to explain ? Thankiezz :P

Eh, it was rather confusing. I'm not going to be analytical about it, because 1. I'm lazy and 2. I don't care. The little boy was quite annoying.

The first thought that came to mind after the tunnel thing was the Kanariya PV. O_o

*yawn* I'm bored yet again. :thud

I thought the little boy was really cute with the whole "blue candy" thing. But the robot-people and the whole lying-on-the-message-table-theme was too weird. This PV just looks...hurried?

The absolute BEST part was the end, when she pulled down the cover off that thing.

Guesses on whats under the cover? =P

And I thought I would be the only one that thought that >_> Har har. I love the little boy with the "do you want candy?" to that big ol' mean tree... thingy. It was really pretty, 'cept I can't really see any meaning behind it. Wee.

Ayu? I dunno, I only watched the PV twice, but I seriously thought it was herself...

But as a robot.

It was interesting. I need a lot more watches to get an idea of what's going on, but I liked it. :D or more than the other PVs on the dvd anyway.

That was a great PV, the imagery, the scenary, the special effects.

I love how Ayu belted out those notes after the bridge. So emotional.

And when Ayu walked up to the thing, I was puzzled for a second. And whens he pulled it with such intensity, my heart skipped a beat.

But ALAS, as an Ayu PV, it still remains a mystery.

Just like the "No way to say" PV. I wonder if there is something in Ayu's life.

Cute voice over with the cute little boy, Ayu's sining is soft and smooth. imagery is nice, but it wasn't too spectular. Maybe because it lacked moments.

The person under the sheet was her, in robot form. I watched the last few seconds a few times and I am sure of it. I don't understand what it means though. Maybe nothing.

It's an old trick that's been use over and over again for god knows how long.

Ah, I paused it. She has that blue thing, whatever that means.

I had the feeling of "No Way to Say" at the end, the tunnel reminded me of "Kanariya" and the boy reminded me of the girl in "Dearest" and the scenery remindes me of a happier "Daybreak" This PV was cool, I absolutly adore Ayu in that short black hair! I like that kinda of cut and color put together! The PV overall, I give it a 7/10 I liked it, but there are better PVs, like Daybreak! *beams with pride*

the boi was cute..but repeatly say :do you want blue cnady" is annoying

Ayu with short black hair is pretty, but too much mirroring of Kanariya... and the point of that look?? Queen Ants???

The thing under cover is Ayu itself, isn't it?? the last second show Ayu's face... is it like Discovering herself????

I think the part with her on the massaging talbe thing was when the Robot Ayu was being made. And then at the end, Real Ayu goes up to the sheet and pulls down the cover to show the finishd product--the robot that was the Ayu on the table.

Good question. I'm not sure either. To me, i just notice a lot of contrast. For example, in the beginning, there is the innocent child offering candy to something that looks like the grim reaper! Perhaps is it like a childhood acquaintence with death?

I have no clue what is with those other two guys tho. They look like they are middle eastern, but also robots. maybe a political or global message?

anyway, it's also interesting that underground with the busy ants is shiny ayu's secret lair! lol Tho for some reason i'm vaguely reminded of britney's jeweled outfit from her Toxic video.. prolly not supposed to be related tho ^_^`
anyway, those are just my guesses based on watching it once through... anyone with other ideas?? :)

I liked it alot, but it was a little dull =/ it was certainly eye candy though. Probably the best or second best PV (after Moments) to come since Free & Easy. The robot guy walking around was SO distracting!! haha.. and the guy just sitting there staring was so unsettling x.x The little kid got annoying :B but omg, that was so freaky he was asking that black scarecrow thing if he wanted candy. @.@ I don't think I could tell you the meaning of this PV if it has one...

and yeah, that's Ayu under that sheet and she's the robot. Look at her shoulder, it's got the same robotic thing as those 3 other people in the PV.

This one is VERY difficult to dissect. =/ I think we hit most of the main points but how the blue candy...or the blueness...or the scarecrow...> <; I don't understand...

It was a nice PV though. =D The nature...the effects...the singing...NICE! But that robot guy...ai...> >;; I found myself kept staring at what the heck he was doing! It was FUNNy. XDD

the uhh XD "tattoed diamonds" reminded me of "Toxic" i was going to open a threath but some ppl already know what's behind the sheet...

I liked the PV. I felt it was different in a good way from the PVs we've had since Moments. It may not have been that complicated but it looked like more time had been spent on it than on some of the recent PVs. Black-haired Ayu in the white room/framed photo was beautiful, the pink flower dress and the blue butterflies too. The man with the strange moves was distracting though, I wish he'd just sat there like the old man.

This PV really made me think. Cause back in the summer I had a dream about aliens and Ayu. Ayu was lieing on a table and they were glueing those glittery things on her. Ayu was one of them. Their princess or something.

And when I saw the same thing in the PV, I got a weird feeling. Not that I'm saying that Ayu is an alien or something. But the blue robotic people...

Am I the only one who think its clear? I don't like this PV, it's sad. :/ I think the meaning is.. people are using so much electronics, don't you think so? Everything in this PV is electric. That nature is visible after pushing button. So this PV is picture of eletronical people trying to be natural, as they were before. Hm?

And at the end of that tunnel (in core of world) is the last full human - Ayumi with black hair.

I thought the PV killed a bit of the feeling of the song. While I consider it a good PV overall, it doesn't add much to the mood of the song (specially those loud sound effects, they just break the climax imo).

Then why is Ayu promoting Panasonic?


I think that little boy should take advice from the two robots ... be silent. Even introducing "Walking Proud" he sounds annoying.

i think this pv is badly done, first, the camera cutting is bad~ very confusing, it cuts too fast! they seems to have a lot of elements in it but they dun seems to show enough of it. The colours is nice, the setting is nice, the idea (haven figure out yet), but they could have done better about it. A nice song but a badly done PV, could have been better. I love ayu in the black hair though XD

oh ya, the last part where she reveals the clooth, is she trying to send a message about the wax figure of her in hongkong?? if it is, isnt it a bit 'cheapskate'??? T__T

I love the effects. Ayu looks pretty with the pink dress and with short-black hair. It'a confusing but it is a great PV. I don't know the meaning of the PV neither what's under the sheet. But i like this PV. Although, the Panasonic CM looked better. Overall, 8/10.

It confuses me. Especially the guy doing the robot. My first impression of the PV: "WTF?!" but it grew on me once I watched it a few more times. The kid was cute but I really don't understand his purpose in the PV. :dead2

Wonderful! It's not the best of the PVs of the new album in my opinion (I prefer Carols), but it's very close!

And I loved what Lumix said! ^^ It might be something like that!

I liked it. It reminded my of the Free & Easy PV, not sure why. I loved her make up in it though. Blue represents something, but I can't figure out what.

Whoa. I read your post and then watched the PV again, and it completely changed my perspective of it! Everything is fake, even the sky. But I think that the Ayumi on the table w. the black hair is the robot, and the Ayumi that's singing is the human (at the end, the big belt out part, black haired Ayumi's face is rather passive, while blonde haired Ayumi is full of emotion).

I was reading a translation, and the PV goes with the first verse:
My lips created a lie,
for some trivial reason...
for no one, just my foolish self...
I think it was to protect.
When I realized, from the countless lies,
I was surrounded and couldn't move,
I was unable to do a thing.
The whole world is a lie that surrounds blonde Ayumi, and maybe the robot at the end is her trapped in the lies.

However, I think the ending would have been a little more meaningful and a little less "what the...?" if they had shown the cloaked figure at other points in the video, instead of waiting till the end to break out this random cloaked person.

oh the candy part, well the kid could be a disguise for someone offering some sort of "candy-coated-lie" uh?? yeah more mind wandering for you all to play with

I think the kid is just to make it "cute" e_e...? an extra just to "fill" the video LOL

I liked it, visually it looked good. After reading what people think the meaning is more clear to me. I thought the boy was cute, but his voice was annoying, the only thing I didn't like about it. I would have liked to have seen what was under the sheet, but I also think it's robot Ayu.

I think it's her wax statue soon to be on public display in HK. ^^

It was a great PV, but it reminded me of No Way to Say, and walking proud sounded similar to it as well. xD It's similar since they both have something revealed at the end. (Well not really for No Way to Say) but I liked both clips anyway. Ayumi always has the best PVs.

Mm.. I dont think that table has some special reason. Just the last human Ayumi, someone sacred for others in scenery.

Was this song used for one of the Panasonic camera commerical? Can't remember.

I thought the entire PV felt like it could be a commercial for a camera. The vibrant background colour used on the scene, the sparkles on her body, the picture frames showing clips of her, the one shot of the camera fliming Ayu on the table...all they have to do is put in some advertising slogan and it would look like a perfectly valid camera commerical! Maybe it's inspired by the panasonic lumix camera ;)

nope this song wasnt used for a Panasonic camera, it was used for a Panasonic MD (MJ59)

I think this is my fave pv for the album. But I didn't get the 'candy thing' and the little boy's tongue being blue? Does it have something to do with the blue butterflies or sumthing? and about the man with a broken throat; the ants hole and the ayu statue at the end? ha it's really weird and complicating but overall, a very enjoyable and beautiful pv.

Good eye! I hadn't noticed that, but I just played it back again and you're right.

Adding to that, the black haired Ayu seems to have a sort of smug expression...to me it practically looks like she's smirking as she's singing into the camera. That makes me think she's the robot too...in "prototype" stage, perhaps, before they fully model her after the real Ayu? (Hair and such.)

Maybe the robot one is in a way overconfident that electronic is better, since the video shows that electronic is basically taking over...and that's why she seems so passive.

I'm probably all off though. I didn't catch any of this when I first viewed the PV, only after reading this thread. This one had me quite confused. :headache

I didn't think the guy in the background doing the robot was necessary.

I think the best part was when she was lying on the table..she looked very pretty.

I also thought it was herself under that sheet when she pulled it. But dammit, it'll be like the No Way to Say PV, who was under the Santa costume? >o

it is such a beautiful pv....i love the butterfly for some reason.

the song was sooo sad though

i didnt like the mechanical movements of the indian looking guy...it was so strange..but otherwise the pv was excellent!
