I think many people don't know who she is. Beni Arashiro is a new singer in avex. Personally, I like her single cover, and she is kinda cute. I dont know if her voice is good, but anyway, she is quite good. Do you guys remember that two ayu singles released as the same day as released Duty and LOVEppears? Avex did it again on Beni.. ehhhhhhhhhhh

Oh, a few people know who she is on this board, but I doubt they like her. She stole Ayu's Visee contract.

I love her myself, just got her Miracle PV today. Can't wait for the album

Ugh, that MySpace thing lowered my opinion of her. I mean, seriously.. it was just.. bad.. I actually felt embarassed for her. :laugh

Ah well, I'll probably listen to the album and single but I doubt I'll purchase either unless they're just amazing.

I won't say she stole ayu's visee contract. :no Before ayu signed visee contract, the contract was Namie. If you say Beni stole ayu's , did you imply that ayu's stole Namie's? Well, that is kind of marketing.

her voice is average ... and she's not that pretty o.O .. so .. I'll wait until she starts to grow ......

i know her..and i think i'm her fans now..although ayu still the top in my heart..
but i have some feelings for her..her music is nice..her voice can get better following the time..
i know she get visee contract from ayu..but it's ok..first i feel very mad when i know it but after i know her..i change my decision and i like her..
all of her past three single is really nice specially "Here alone" that song was really cool!!
i think she is my right choice for the new jpop star..first i think mika and aya is the best new rising star but i change it and choose her as my new icon..haha..i love her..
can't wait until her new single and album launch..

Anyway, I've always thought her music was pretty mediocre. I might check out the album though.

I like her... I was thinking about getting this album.

Well, after hearing the album I'm kind of disappointed. I really, really like her voice, but many of the songs were plain crap.

I liked the album a lot, especially the first half. I didn't like a lot of the songs after Oh, Happy Day though. For her first album I thought it was pretty good. :D

The album was a flop. Less than 18 000 copies in the 1st week, err....

It's not just that her voice is really weak and that she's not wicked gorge (although apparently she won a beauty contest which helped launch her appeal with stupid, stupid Avex), but it's that she's a terrible entertainer. "Infinite..." came out when I was in Japan, and these big trucks advertising it and playing the song drove through Tokyo like nobody's business. So I curiously went to Tower to check it out. She seemed cute and I was intrigued by her being half American. But when I listened to the single, I was just really turned off. Then I saw the MV a few days later, and she just stood there emotionless and awkward. Her website turned me off even more -- she is SUCH a stretch, even for Avex. It's really a shame this is what the music business could be coming to.

But that's just how I feel.

Ouch, that's horrible. ._. Poor Beni.

I haven't been terribly impressed with her, but I really liked Here Alone and Infinite, and Miracle's not that bad. I do agree that her PVs are kind of.. bleh. They're both low budget or just bad, or a combination of both. <<

Poor Beni... I might still buy her album, though.
