as the valentine's day is coming, the japanese channel TBS's show 'CDTV' conducted a 'best girlfriend' poll. ayu got the number 1 position again, hence becoming the best girlfriend for contemporary guys.

otsuka ai, who is in the same label as ayu, is becoming increasingly popular. the number of votes she got is only second to ayu, successfully kicking matsuura aya out of the top 3. now aya is at number 7 from her 2nd position last year. abe natsumi, who is just resumed a working relationship with her agent, has got the third position.

ai has stormed the japanese charts with her latest single 'kuro........680 yen'. in an interview, she revealed that once upon a time she has eaten 6 plates of roasted meat. otsuka ai also reavealed that she intended to challenge B'z with the complexity of her new song title. On a side note, the promo cd of 'Kuro....680 yen' is housed in a porcelain case, instead of the usual plastic case.

Ai once said that's one of her favorite dishes (grilled beef slices, that what the title means) and the different yen value O.0 is because this single is a different version than the track that was in the album. So there you have it.

so i wonder how much the beef grill is on the album :)

ai is getting really popular and even i like her for her cuteness and personality but i do not wish to see her take over ayu's position in japan, globally as well as in avex itself...

Haha... man i couldn't help but laugh reading that, the meat part too. Quite confident there ai, trying to compete with one of the top bands in the japans music industry. IMO she failed pretty bad, i hated that single. B'z beat her :eviltongu
