ayu's dancers are pot people -_- (yahoo, 02/25/05)
this came to me via a yahoo alert:
http://asia.news.yahoo.com/050224/kyodo/d88f07f80.html Friday February 25, 12:41 AM Dancing brothers for growing cannabis at home (Kyodo) _ The popular dancing duo GoGo Brothers were arrested Thursday on suspicion of growing cannabis plants and possessing the dried leaves at their home in Fukuoka, police said. The police identified the suspect as Rei (Rey) Abe, 21, and his 20-year-old brother Yu, both of Fukuoka's Hakata Ward. The brothers are well-known as dancers and dance instructors and have joined diva Ayumi Hamasaki's domestic tour as backup dancers. The police alleged that the brothers had grown seven cannabis plants inside a storage space in their home since late last November. The police also found dried cannabis leaves in seven plastic bags and a stick of dried leaves rolled up in paper, police officials said. The police searched the suspects' home earlier in the day after receiving a tip-off that the two men were selling dried cannabis leaves. |
Ah, I recall the two (Rei and Yu) from DOME TOUR. They are the ones who looked like they're probably biracial (possibly mixed with african?) Not sure, not important.
But anyway, maybe ayu toked up with them on occassion. j/k |
I read this at another forum but this article seems to be more detailed with the last three sentences.
Not only were they growing it and probably abusing the drug, they were dealing, too? Well, I highly doubt that Ayumi will hire them again. |
Hahahha that's too funny. I hate them two, anyway.
Ayu smokes pot. How else would she be able to write and compose songs like Naturally, Humming 7/4, and WONDERLAND. Especially WONDERLAND. She's stoned. :yes ...The question is, who's she gonna buy from now? |
-.- Ha, you're so funny Phantoma..
They sure won't be dancing anytime soon. |

What do these guys look like?
And not really surprised. I mean, they got money, what else are they going to do with it? |
Caps from the DOME TOUR DVD. (During "Who...")

ROFL they look like potheads too.
|
I don't really think it's a joking matter because Japan treats drugs very differently than, say, America. For example, when one of the Mach25 boys was caught for drug possession, the Ayu Ready? (Ayumi's tv show) site took down the page regarding Mach25's appearance on the show immediately. It was treated more like, "We'll pretend the problem isn't there."
Furthermore, Ayumi donated a lot of money to Thailand for the anti-drug program. These guys won't be dancing with her anytime soon, that's for sure. |
oh dear...pot heads dancin' with ayu...><"
|
how come they possess drugs, this is stupid
|
Thanks for the article. They're not going to be dancing for Ayumi anymore...
|
lame, its not like they were shooting up or whatever, they were just smokin a bit of weed.
marijuana wasnt even illegal in japan til the occupation anyhow |
aiyaiyai. oh well. +_+ ppl ppl..
|
ROFL!! That's freaking funny!! Yeah I don't like those 2 either =/
|
Hope that this won't somehow in some weird way make Ayu look bad...
|
wow...who would've known that this would ever happen?

Haha! That's hilarious! Especially since I JUST got finished watching Harold & Kumar go to Whitecastle....

At least it wasn't something even worse. Pot is like...the least of the drugs. I hope it won't reflect poorly on Ayumi, but not that she would have known what they did at home.
|
I can see it now, headline of next Chinese tabloid - "AYU, Queen of J-pop? QUEEN OF DRUG CESSPOOL!"
|
wow O_O pot is relli no big deal to me funny article though
many people at my school smokes pot i got some friends who smokes pot, and also know know people who also sells them oh darn i noticed the 2 brothers in stadium tour they were kool! i hope they can still be dancers for Ayu! |

It's easy for people to say, "Whatever, so many people do pot" which isn't the point: it's still illegal and can affect public perception. In any case, the guys are pretty young and so people can brush it off as stupid (ah, good old American apathy). Unfortunately, I know there are 40 year olds who still do drugs. I think if you're still doing stuff like that at that age, you really are stupid (and bored). |

.... ^^ well... dont expect that... i just surprised ^^
|
I had never seem them in any ayu performances...at least I don't think they have been participating in her latest performances.
|
I thought they were cool. Why do you people hate them anyways? The'yre just dancers.
|
personally i think this is really funny. Fair Do's to them, 7 plants going at once o_o lol the only thing i will say is bad was the selling of it to other people. If you're willing to grow and smoke your own, that's fine, but selling/buying it i don't think is nice.
|
oh interesting story, thanks for the infor.
Oh i guess Ayu will be looking for some new dancers then :rolleyes I'll do it :D pick me lol :yes Yeah in my dreams |
doesn't Yu reminds of some past due US TV star? hehe

When it rains, it pours... :raincloud This truly is devastating for Ayu and any African happily living in Japan. I guess the stereotyping will start sometime after this.
I hope this topic doesn't turn into a racial thing...but I did have a tiny feeling this would involve my brothers :mtwins They're always doing something to get in trouble :( . I hope they realize that they probably won't be dancing with Ayu off of this stage. Because this simply isn't cool at all anyway you look at it. To put something positive in all this mess, even though they are wrong in doing this; power to my other "responsible" peoples over there. :afro . (Oh, and while I'm at it, shoutouts to Grandpa in Okinawa!) :love And as far as Michael Jackson goes; "innocent until proven guilty in the court of law and by a jury" :shakehead ...(no longer "a jury of your peers" seeing that the US congress has changed that law mysteriously under our noses along with others as well)...isn't it wonderful how things can just change so suddenly? |
I don't get it -_- your brothers? eh? huh? I'm confoosed
|
It's kind of like a slang between races of people or friends and family.
For example; since I'm black I call them my brothers and if they were girls I'd call them my sistahs. Even if they do have a little bi-racial in them & they are in a mess there still a part of me. |

and woah.. hold off the MJ and Constitution being changed until the 1,101th post okay. All just joking, if u have found the second part to be a sarcastic. Sorry in advance. |
hah!
|
Lol...didn't think I'd be seriously laughing at this kind of thing. I was supposed to be mad and ready to fight but oh well. But when I really think about it, who really wants to start a fight over something stupid as this? These dancers live their lives and Ayu lives her. Just like I live mine happily waiting for the 1,101th post so I can put it right back up here.
^.^ |
haha i read the title as 'ayu's dancers are not people' hahahahaa i was like r they robots?! :O hahaha... sorry to get off topic
|
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh LOL, I wasn't even thinking you were black...
Maybe I should look at the icons more -_-, Whenever I look at icons I just prefer to notice each one differently GAME AYU INSPIRE AYU SOMETHING AYU FORGIVENESS AYU... :D |
