Calling All Veteran Ayu Fans!
Admins, feel free to move this to download requests if it fits better there... i wasn't sure.
I need help from anyone here who was an ayu fan before mid-2002 or so. I need scans of old advertisements and posters, and pictures of older concert pamphlets and merchandise. Mostly LOVEppears and Duty era stuff, but anything works. Not-so-good scans and photos from places like Yahoo! Auctions Japan as well as stuff from now-dead fansites work, but if you have any old stuff you can scan yourself, that would be wonderful! This includes: -Older CD posters and magazine ads, both Japan and OS versions -Visee posters and the pink Visee outfit designed by ayu that you could win -Tu-Ka posters & especially pamphlets, and good pics of the A MODEL phone -Concert Tickets -Anything sold at concerts like pamphlets, t-shirts, towels, and ayupan -Lucky Draw Prizes for A BEST, A BALLADS, and I am... Anything you can post here or email me (if it's too big), please let me know! It would be appreciated bunches!!! |

BTW I became as an ayu fan on 1999 but too bad my gadgets are kinda limited... almost none. Sorry can't help you much around here.... By the way, this thread should be inside the ayumi chatroom. |
LOL thanks isaac, I really had no idea where it would go best. ^^ And if you could stick it up for awhile that'd be great... i need as many people to see this as possible. It's sooo hard to find older stuff for this website.

OMG, thank you two SOO MUCH! ^__^ You guys posted some stuff i've been looking for for ages!! And mimika, if you don't know what era they're from, just post 'em anyway. Even if they're not something i specifically asked for i may need them, either way i can probably ID them.
mimika, the last two attachments didn't work. And can you tell me about the A Model pic you posted? is it the cover of the manual for the phone, or a flyer, or ad, or what? Any idea, or does anyone else know? Devilayu: that's a poster for the A single but i'm not sure how one would go about GETTING it. Like i dunno if it was an ad or a limited poster you could buy or what. I've seen it before... that's one of the better scans of it, although on other scans you can see the "A" in gray on the bottom. |

Rorro, I have some photos of someone's pictures of their promotion posters. It's got many posters from A (you were talking about this one before), Boys & Girls, WHATEVER, Ayu-mi-x etc. But they're just photos and not scans, so I'm not sure if they're what you're looking for, but I'll post them anyway.

And yeah, photos of posters are fine since they're hard to scan anyway. Scans are ideal, but photos are good ast long as you can see what it looks like. |

I've got a leopard print on my phone and put ayu ringtones on it for awhile... closest i could get since my phone couldn't do A-logo wallpaper or a phone strap. Or even a color screen (it's an ooolllddd POS phone, lol)... it's broken now anyway (soda got spilled on it, so you can't dial 3 or the down arrow without ALOT of effort, it won't respond until i'm close to giving up mashing on the buttons... and the battery will think it's dead or full when it isn't so you just gotta leave it plugged into the charger now)

Oh, does anyone have scans of the covers of the first 2-3 ayu calendars? Preferably your own scans or scans from an auction, i don't wanna steal images from any sites (at least not any that still update, or have a watermark on the picture), since these are all gonna be used on mine.

Do you want scans for the kanariya, Fly high, appears, LOVEppears, and Duty ads? I can try to scan them for you. I also have some ads for one or two of her first five singles. I also have ads for the DOME TOUR history book as well as some from DOME TOUR. PM me because I have some more stuff that you might want.

It's okay, A Book scans aren't hard to find, just hard to find in order and in their entirety. I just wanted to know what to number the filenames. :)

I have a couple subway posters of the evolution era if you'd like me to take a picture of those.
