Wow...now that's thinking positive :p I'm going a bit lower than that. Not that this is not that good a single. This single is GREAT!!! It's just that Step you/Is this love made less than 100,000 on its first day and on its first week it sold around 160000+.
Anyway, I'm going for 85,000 for first day (Hope this happens :D) and close to 200,000 (hopefully more, but I'm inkling towards the 190,000 range) for the first week. It's close to her other recent singles since Moments, I think (not sure about No way to say). And for total sales, I wish this breaks 500,000. If that happens, people will be saying that ayu's back :) But I strongly believe that this will sell more than Step you/Is this love (and consequently, all her 2004 singles). Just my thoughts :p |

I wish Ayu gets sales as high or higher than my prediction (85-90,000 first day)... I'm fearing that it won't reach those numbers because the single is facing tough competition that week with singles from aiko and Prono Graffiti. Step you had no tough competition when it was released. I don't know much about aiko and Porno Graffiti but from what I know they are pretty popular in Japan (the news item about aiko being the most favorite artist in a survey, for example). Ayu will reach number 1 but I have a slight feeling that sales won't be as high as our predicctions. I hope I'm wrong on this...

but i'm not really sure about how far she can gain aiko and porno grafitti is a BIG RIVAL you know? but..just wait and see since ayu has did a lot of promotion campaign...hope this single can get high sales depend on the content and the high quality song... |

oricon is bad to make any judgement though
they only counts sales toward HMV/CD Tower etc and don't includes the smaller company.. it could be sold alot more then just around 78k |
