oh, its usually released around the same time, isnt it? Just print out the detail of the album and the cover picture then hand it to any shops, they will get it for you.. (depends on their friendliness)

Yeah, $50-$60 is a little too high. I could see $30-$40. They usually release a VCD version and a DVD version.. the VCD version will naturally be cheaper. You can also find a ton of them on ebay after the release for a great price, but there's always a chance that they're bootlegs.

If you check yesasia, they'll always price overseas version DVDs at around $25USD and VCDs at $17USD.

And you can find cheaper deals on eBay because yesasia inflates their prices a tad bit, but yeah, better to double check with someone whether it's original because there's a fair bit of Hamasaki bootlegs on eBay.

$25 is overpriced for an Overseas version DVD. They're even cheaper where they're produced, you can get them for $15USD-$20USD there.

Was wondering if it's on sale in Singapore yet.. coz usually there are commercials for Ayu dvd releases in Singapore channels, but I don't see any >_> KInd of lazy to check out the store just in case I go for a wasted trip if it's still isn't on sale.

:D i normally call HMV and CD rama. used to go down to the stalls. lol ever since arena tour was released, i've been calling HMV and CD rama almost everyday to check. anyway, the overseas version will be released on Sept 9th.. http://www.avex.com.tw/2004/index2.asp so i guess it will be a few more days before it heads down to singapore! YAY.

hmmmm might as well get the japanese version if it´s almost like the overseas.... -.-

hmm the overseas version would be much cheaper in most countries. for example, the japanese version of ayu's cd is like sixty bucks in singaporecurrency, but the overseas version only cost twenty bucks.

but i really hope its in dvd & vcd....

yes, overseas version usually released in both formats: dvd and vcd, and only vcd will hv chinese subtitles, but u hv to give up picture quality

The best thing to do is this: http://www.cdrlabs.com/kprobe/index.php download the lasted verswion of k-probe and you can use it to play Japanese and Chinese DVDs, any region you want. It is much better than buying the VCD, because the VCD it much less quality than an actual DVD.

be patient.. i've already called hmv and they said they havent got any news, but they would contact me once they get the DVD. so once i get hold of news i would post up here. :lech i think they offered to contact me once the DVD arrives because ive been hounding them for the past few days.

for HK, a boss of a CD store said it will be released around 20th Sept, but not sure if it's correct..anyway, hv to wait longer =(

I've got pretty many poor experiences with HMV heeren. I went over few times to ask for a gackt cd in the past and gave them my no. They assured me that they'll call me when it arrives but they never did. It was my friend who called me when he spotted the cd and when I arrived, it was the last piece left. And the sales person there then told me it arrived 2 days ago. What the hell..

Just to let you know, HMV is that unreliable at times. :grumpy

really? oh man. why are they like that. i just called them ( yes im still calling them even though they promise to call, lol), and they said that the local distributors have not tell them news about arena tour 05. argh. so long! im dying to watch. im about to die waiting!

but that DVD says that is ''Region Free"... so it has to be a bootleg...

Hopefully that's an error because they haven't received the DVD yet and aren't sure.. I hope a real tax-paying store wouldn't sell bootlegs! :-\ I want to buy from there so I'll email and ask if it's officially licensed by Axex.

Playasia still hasn't shipped mine out, though it says they are in stock. Also, they raised the price to $25 after I placed my order.. so I wonder if I'll get charged the extra.
You're better off going with Yesasia now that Playasia has raised their price.

today is friday... i went to Music Junction, CD Rama and Sembawang.. none has it.. dammit.. thats my 4th time trying my luck... i asked the lady at MJ, she said ''it is not out yet... we haven receive any news about when it will arrive''

I got my copy of it yesterday for $37.99. The store owner didn't charge tax and even gave me a HEAVEN poster for free.

CD Rama has it at $36.95..

huh.. i got mine at sembawang at orchard for only 32.90...

grrr dammit... i wasted quite some money... BUT I DONT CARE!!! as long as i get to enjoy it.. i finished watching the 1st n 2nd disc and it was fantastic!!!

in Hong Kong it is HKD$140 (17 american dollars)

ask your friend to help you get it from sembawang or cd rama.. i think hmv really sets the price wayyy up.
