Most Impressive Single for 2005
 

Most impressive single is HEAVEN and song Will!

HEAVEN -- without a doubt.

HEAVEN and HEAVEN =D

Most definitely "HEAVEN" followed by "fairyland cw/alterna" and lastly "STEP you/is this LOVE?". She just got better and better as the year progressed. I LOVE all 3 singles but "HEAVEN" is really something special. I don't think ONE single from 2004 can compare to any of the singles released this year... not even "Moments".

Honestly, I can't decide between HEAVEN and STEP you/is this LOVE?. fairyland/alterna didn't seem like a huge "impressive single" to me, although I loved alterna. Right now, I kind of feel like STEP you will be above HEAVEN. HEAVEN will be below it by such a small amount. The two are probably singles that will change my opinion depending on my mood. ;)

STEP you/is this LOVE? was the most hyped about, and the best to me. :3 I waited late in the night to download the PVs from T-N. XDD However my fav song will have to be "alterna". XDD

"HEAVEN" without any doubt. The most impressive song.. Will. It's so fresh and innovative.

STEP YOU/Is This Love and HEAVEN of course!!! These two singles gave Ayumi a lot of power for 2005!

Fairyland/Alterna for me

'STEP you' and 'is this LOVE?' may be the two best songs, but single-wise I'd say HEAVEN wins because of the single's value. 'STEP you/Is this LOVE? has no value besides the ugly cover unless Ayumi's next album isn't CD+DVD, which I highly doubt. I don't like the songs on her other two 2005 singles, but the singles themselves are worth the money for what you get....

Judging by the songs themselves, 'STEP you/Is this LOVE?' wins though.

Step You cover brought me to Ayumi.. :luv2 Yes, Value-wise its HEAVEN! The remixes and B-Sides are super valuable. But by songs, its STEP YOU and HEAVEN singles.. Fairyland had one mega-track though..

The HEAVEN single is the best. Both songs are wonderful, and we have a piano and an orchestra version.

HEAVEN is the best single this year. it has the best songs and the most value. i'm not saying the other songs werent good, but i feel that Ayu showed her best in this last single. Especially with Will and Heaven piano version.

Hmm, this is a tough decision.
I love "is this LOVE?" from STEP you single, but I hate the song "STEP you."
I like "alterna" and I love the STEP you remix from fairyland, but "fairyland" is just.. eh OK.
I like Heaven, I really like Will, and I like the piano version of Heaven, as well...

In all, though, I think I have to pick "Heaven."

HEAVEN was her most impressive single for me as well.

This year has been so great. One remix album and three GREAT singles so far. I think the [HEAVEN] single is the best single, but my favorite track this year is STEP you. It had all the qualities I tought lacked from MY STORY, a fun careless dance-song. :) But most of her songs this year have been very good as always, and will/HEAVEN are good nr 2s.

STEP you/is this LOVE? for me. STEP you is totally the kind of song I love. And is this LOVE? sounds great. Also, the PVs are awesome.

HEAVEN for Single, HEAVEN for song.

Its the first single where I've liked the majority of the tracks. Only track I didn't like off of HEAVEN was Will. The Piano Ver. of HEAVEN was breathtaking and the acoustic ver. of alterna was great as well. The instrumentals were nice, I liked the Will instrumental.

HEAVEN. hands down for me.

It's a reallly hard decision because:

HEAVEN - Has "Will" and "Alterna -orchestral-", but has the song I don't like, "HEAVEN"
fairyland - Has "Alterna" and "fairyland", Alterna was really good but fairyland was medocre
STEP you/is this LOVE? - Has "STEP you", but also has medocre "is this LOVE?"

really this year the singles are really unique....all the songs are so different and unique... i only least like fairyland... it is nice of coz.. but still weird to me...

I liked HEAVEN and will, but not as appealing as STEP you was (probably ebcause of the poor DVD tracklisting)

fairyland c/w alterna last.

fairyland blew. alterna rocked... but not enough. It wasn't that refreshing of a song and kind of repetitive. The remixes kinda... sucked but the instrumentals were good. I loved the alterna PV but hated fairylands. Only single with songs I dislike so this loses.

I'm not sure.. I really like Step you and Is this love?. I love Alterna too, but I don't like Fairyland very much.. Her latest single is really great too, especially Will, since it's so different from her other songs. It's a pity there's only one PV on the Heaven single, while the Step you single had three. I think I'll go with the Step you single..

I can't wait for Ayu's next album, there will be so many great songs on it! :)

i would say for a single i like STEP you and is this LOVE a lot because the pv and the song is both really powerful in the other hand heaven isn't use a high tech pv and just show many symbolysm and meaningful PV...so...
for a single i choose STEP you/is this LOVE
for a song i choose HEAVEN
