I just recived My Story tour and the CD+DVD!!! So HAPPY :love
can someone tell me why it is a golden disk award stample on the my story cd? Did it won the adward?

well if there is a stample either it won the award or it´s a bootleg XD

A bootleg is a fake, illegal remake of an item made by fans. They just burn the CD themselves and put a cover on it etc... where did you buy it?

She said 'MY STORY Tour' and the 'CD+DVD'. She brought both the CD and the tour DVD I think.

I bought Arena Tour 2005 -My story DVD and the CD+DVD (the dvd include the make off shots of her PVs) on CDJAPAN! so I think is the original. Looks exactly like the real thing on the pic you guys showed me. it's not a bootleg......Yes! there's a Golden Disc Award sticker on my cd ^^ it's said The Japan Gold Disc Award......

Yes, if your items came from CDJapan, they are official. I haven't heard of My Story winning a Golden Disc award. It may have been a mistake CDJapan made, putting the sticker on the cover.

well the CD itself is official, especially if it came from CDJapan...but no, the sticker is a mistake I'm sure :) guess you're lucky ;)

Ok Ok I misread it. Sorry for my mistake mate. About the award.. isn't the award awarded at the end of the year? So I do not think MY STORY has actually won this award yet if it could have won... but I might be wrong of course.

This sticker doesn't mean anything more except that u buyied album of artist which won Golden Disc award. It's like advertising - nothing special.

If you wanna know, the Japan Gold Disc Awards is one of the most prestigious music awards in Japan. It honors the biggest selling artistes, songs and albums based on their performances in Oricon. The show is organised by the Recording Industry Association of Japan and it has been around the music industry for 19 years. Next year, it will be it's 20th anniversary. It's also known as the Japanese equivalent of America's Billboard Music Awards(based on the Billboards charts). The highest honor is the Artist of the Year and amazingly, Ayu won it 3 times. I think, your MY STORY has the sticker because MY STORY is among the finalists AND the recipients of the award. MY STORY was the recipent of the Pop/Rock Album of the Year category. You should check www.golddisc.jp for more info. FYI, among the recipents in the category are Ai Otsuka, Mai Kuraki, Orange Range, Ken Hirai and so on. The 19th anniversary was held in March 10th 2005(as far as i know).

Well actually most bootlegs don't have avex trax written on them... or you can compare them to Booklet and CD scans...

Glad yours is real, I hate bootleggers! Would be horrible to think you are supporting Ayu when you are really not :(

Sadly, this year's Artist of the Year winner is Orange Range.

I really do need to order MY STORY. Maybe for Christmas.
