info about new songs (translation please)

http://img418.imageshack.us/img418/2...10163bg8ye.jpg

Under 'rainy day' GEO of SWEETBOX is mentioned so he probably did compose the song.

And I'm guessing that 'Are you wake up?' and 'tasking' are the interludes since they aren't mentioned here.

Anyone care to translate? It's from the new issue of CD DATA btw..

Sweer 16th December 2005 01:15 AM

ah Ic, thanks for posting this.
I guess this confirms that GEO composed "rainy day"
could anyone translate this?

TeamAyu 16th December 2005 02:54 AM

OMG THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!

I BELIEVE! It says that Ayu composed "(miss)understood". I am darn excited now! I hope it is as good as her past compositions because Humming 7/4 was lacking something (like originality).

And this maybe WAYYY out there but I think I read that "Ladies Night" is a live recording... I'm probably totally wrong since my Japanese is beyond horrid. Sorry I didn't help much.

evolution105 16th December 2005 03:00 AM

I hope it's not a live recording :(

Coelacanth 16th December 2005 03:04 AM

Interesting if it's a live recording, the title makes it sound like it's going to be a generic R&B song. This means it'll at least contain some real instruments hopefully.

elepop 16th December 2005 04:33 AM

Can anybody translate the article?

I'm dying about knowing what the songs are about!

lovia 16th December 2005 09:41 AM

ooo.. i like the ladies night title.... sounds cool.. but wonder how it sounds... miss understood also not bad ;) hmm.. mi quite excited over her new album now... coz its different... ;)

Here's In the Corner. I got it out on WordPad and translated it with Worldlingo.com so it prob isn't very accurate.

Intently, don't you think? the tune which vain has been sung indifferent makes and high is. What? Profit to apply in order, to grieve in something in order, like whether it is not, quite there is no feeling of, it is to sing and it is indeed indifferent. Being the case that it rises somewhere even when without, like one person word end wheel transmission it goes indifferent, you saw to be. Therefore, it set also the key low. Stylish sound meaning indifferent enormous thing in the back, る tune kana

I think it doesn't make much sense, but oh well.

On a happier note I -think- (miss)understood is a CREA composition.

Typed. And used handwriting pad for kanjis I couldn't read. I prob made a lot of mistakes, plus the translators are too rigid..

andre2907 16th December 2005 04:17 PM

Translation someone? Pleasee!

freedreamer 16th December 2005 04:25 PM

I dunno what the translation of In The Corner means...Can someone translate it fast but clearly

Mirai Noah 16th December 2005 05:19 PM

Interesting... I'd help translating, but I have two finals today, and my Japanese isn't all that great. So hopefully someone can translate it soon! :)

ohsixthirty 16th December 2005 06:27 PM

i'm anxious to know what she has to say about all those songs! :)

netsuAi 16th December 2005 07:04 PM

...feel that this song is more of one where i will whisper, with a voice that nobody except the person who is important to me can hear... rather than one which i will sing because it (the song) is pretty and cute.

the song has the unique style of GEO OF SWEETBOX, and has an interesting structure(composition?)...

/cant really translate last bit... maybe someone else can do it/
*goes to sleep*

devilayu 16th December 2005 08:40 PM

Will do a translation after I get home from work. Do you just want the ones with the new songs?

Coelacanth 16th December 2005 09:06 PM

^ Yeah just the new songs are fine. Thanks! =)

Shiso 16th December 2005 09:17 PM

I am curious about all songs :) but I will be grateful for translation of any of them ;)

Luther10 16th December 2005 09:35 PM

[QUOTE=netsuAi]

[QUOTE]

so that means Rainy Day is not composed by GEO? Just the style of the song...:innocent

Luther10 16th December 2005 09:46 PM

Criminal: From the title, one will immediatly think about criminals( serious crimes), but that's not the case. It talks about something more personally, stuff we do each day that we feel guilty about...

I don't think I'm completely correct, and that's only the first half.
Even with a dictionary and a grammar book, it's still very difficult to understand.

Can't wait ^^

Also according to teth@ jpopmusic.com

It seems like the new songs that will have singing are "rainy day," "Beautiful Day," "Criminal," "Ladies Night," "(miss) understood," and "In The Corner."
- "Beautiful Day" is a song that asks you what you think is a "magnificent day" and a "beautiful day" and such...and whether you've found it or not.
- "Criminal" is not about the crimes committed that violate the law. She's referring to the minute "crimes" that people make everyday in their own lives...and it's a song about facing them.
- "rainy day" is a pretty and cute song. Her singing style in this song is "as if I'm singing in a voice that only the most important person in my life can hear." There's a GEO of SWEETBOX style to it. Also, when you hear it, you'll think "it's over already? that was the chorus?"
- "Ladies Night" is a song that will get people lively in concerts.

kournikova 17th December 2005 01:21 AM

=@
thanks!!!
hmm Ladis Night could be another Trauma judging from that translation

and rainy day isn't compose by geo of sweetbox, it's just a style similar to them...so I guess that could be a upbeat song but that can't be right
from the onimusha site
they mention rainy day is a ending song which it's a ballad..while startin' would be the opening song and it's a upbeat song...
hmmm

Larisa-chan 17th December 2005 01:34 AM

When I read the thing about "rainy day" I'm reminded of the song "HONEY" and that's no good...

Me too. D:

Criminal sounds like it's going to be really good though. I'm really excited about it.

evolution105 17th December 2005 01:44 AM

I really doubt rainy day is going to be like HONEY. like what haku said, and what we all read, rainy day is suppose to be heartwarming ballad, or something like that. startin' (which i'm hoping will be a secret track*cross fingers*) is the upbeat song.

LOL this made me laugh. The description at the end sound as if either the song is to short or that it lacks a climax, or that it will only be a preview ahaha It's funny because ayu was the one who said that line LOL But i guess she means something else...

Coelacanth 17th December 2005 01:58 AM

Oh no. I really hope 'rainy day' isn't another 'HEAVEN'.. I just did not like the way that song flowed.

no_way_to_say 17th December 2005 02:00 AM

lively in concets...
maybe Ladies Night is like Boys & Girls??
I can't wait to get my hands on the album!!!!!

Calico 17th December 2005 02:55 AM

Now I"m excited! I like the idea behind Criminal. I hope it's not a ballad.

Raleigh 17th December 2005 02:59 AM

Probably it is if you notice where the song is in the tracklisting.

Ayumi no Yume 17th December 2005 03:01 AM

Awww sweet!
I guess this WILL be a good album, siding the covers :)

(WILL is included you smelly ppl! D:< )
And No_way_to_Say, I'm expecting a mix of Boys & Girls & My name's WOMEN....

elepop 17th December 2005 03:06 AM

"rainy day"? Cute? Pretty? Uh oh... It sounds like a ballad from the title. Oh boy, I hope it's not like "HONEY". "Criminal" sounds nice.

Ryoko 17th December 2005 04:02 AM

No, it's not like HONEY. That was a cutesy style. I think she's referring to singing to the most important person in the world for you. If you think about it that way, then it's definetly not the cutesy, smily type of song it appears to be from the description.

Cute ballad???...Nah, doubt so...It's a game song...I think the song will be quite short so maybe there IS a secret track...

Thanks for the info...Hope someone can give a more detailed wan thou...*waits anxiously*

Endlessoul 17th December 2005 03:25 PM

Rainy Day can't be a song like HONEY. I think it will be like Who... or sum touching song.

ruixiong89 17th December 2005 03:52 PM

Yup ... but we won't know till the song is released! Still yup, rainy day better be a ballad!

Depend on You was for a game. It wasn't a ballad, but it was quite cute.

greggerz189 17th December 2005 07:41 PM

I hope Criminal sounds like Pride!

ImpactBreaker 17th December 2005 07:57 PM

Guys this is just a translation, I think you're getting the term "cute" way too serious, specially because if you take the context of the rest of the text, it sounds more like she meant it will be a "beautiful ballad", probably something like HEAVEN or walking proud. I doubt it will be like HONEY, the description doesn't even sound like it. Plus a title "rainy day' doesn't even suit with the term "cute" as if it were to be an all cutesy thing. If the title had been Umbrella or Parasol, but it isn't LOL
And please, I really hope there will only be one Pride in all of ayu's discography, I liked the song as a whole (preferred the verses though) but no one deserves a chorus like that again LOL

Rebirthia 17th December 2005 08:08 PM

thank you to all who contributed in the translations ^^

i hope there's no HONEY nor PEANUT BUTTER in (miss)understood album ...hahaha

i think rainy day will be like an easy ballad..

Startin' might be the hidden track...??

Paper Bear 18th December 2005 01:59 AM

I don't think there will be a hidden track. If there were, I think they would mention something about it. I might be wrong though.

evolution105 18th December 2005 02:04 AM

A hidden track is ment to be hidden and for us to not know about it. I don't see why they would mention it.

note: don't read this like "i'm right and you're wrong" kinda thing.

i dunno though, would they put a song called "startin'" as the last track on a cd? that'd be funny.

It's sort of like Namie's song No, right after it ended Pt.2 of it started and that's the only way you'll know if startin's a hidden track is if you listen to the whole song rainy day and wait a while after it, and if the cd stops obviously startin's not on there.

MedJohn 18th December 2005 03:13 AM

Some CDs have hidden tracks at the beginning
when ur CD player starts at track 1, u can reverse to before track 1

alterna 18th December 2005 03:33 AM

Thanks for the translations everyone! Sounds like this album is gonna be sweet!

Whoa... what's with all of the "HONEY" haters?? Do you guys really not like that song? I think it's nice... it's not her best by far, but no way is it bad. I wouldn't mind seeing another song like it.

IMO there shoulden't have been any "GEO" in ayu's discography. Pride is ok, pretty nice, but If she's continuing down the road of gospel and "funk", I don't think I'll continue buying her albums.

I wonder what type of songs that will be dominating this album. Memorial address had "everything", while MY STORY was dominated by semislow pop/rock balladsy stuff.

Ryoko 18th December 2005 03:34 PM

I think on this album GEO of SWEETBOX only composed Pride and Bold&Delicious. Everything else is by someone else.

The title of "rainy day" completely eliminates any thought of it sounding cute like "HONEY" And you have to remember, Ayu said she threw HONEY together at the last moment, and she also said she was embarassed by it! It doesn't sound like rainy day would be an embarassing song for Ayu.

And I agree with Impact, there should only be one Pride in all of her discography. I certainly hope that criminal does not sound like it. I hope criminal is a dark song. Like from the I am... era or something.

I doubt she will continue down the road of gospel and funk. You have to remember, Ayu's doing what she wants to do now.

I think this album will have a lot of variety, thought probably more rock songs than anything.

elepop 18th December 2005 04:58 PM

I think we can guess if the song is gonna be a ballad, rock or up-best by where it's place in the album's tracklist:

【CD】

01. Bold&Delicious (up-beat)
02. STEP you (up-beat)
03. Ladies Night (then, probably up-beat)
04. is this LOVE? (rock)
05. (miss)understood (then, probably rock)
06. alterna (rock)
07. In The Corner (then, probably rock)
08. tasking (interlude)
09. criminal (then, probably a ballad)
10. Pride (ballad)
11. Will (ballad)
12. HEAVEN (ballad)
13. Are You Wake Up? (interlude)
14. fairyland (up-beat)
15. Beautiful Day (then, probably up-beat)
16. rainy day (then, probably a ballad)

Qt Mashi 19th December 2005 02:55 AM

^ oic it's kinda like MY STORY~

omg! there's a song called (miss)understood! im relli looking forward to that one! all her album song title songs are relli good~

freedreamer 19th December 2005 03:57 AM

I hope it is what asongforXX said...That is quite organised...rainy day is best for closing song since it is used to close the Onimusha Game...

Well if Startin' is a secret track (Track 00)..I guess it would be upbeat too...

that seem's right. I just have a bad feeling that I'm not going to enjoy criminal....

bluegie 19th December 2005 05:45 AM

i doubt she will put startin' as the hidden track. if it's already in the album, it will be stupid to release as a single (consider ayu or avex wants another no. 1 single). Of course, putting that as a hidden track has nothing wrong. Probly it's like "rainy day" is the end of this album, then "startin'" could be like a preview of what kind of music she'll be doing for the next album. Furthermore, it can be also interpreted as there's always a new start after raining.. blah blah blah.. sth like that.

if startin' is really a hidden one, i hope it won't be released as the next single...
