The album can be found in hong kong already well in the two shops in HK which always have japanese CDs early according to kerbeross@ayunite. kerbeross has bought them.

I want mine! But I'm liking the cover. That's confusing, when I first saw it, without the heart, I liked it, but then I saw the cover with the heart and I didn't like it, then I saw the covers on the outdoors and I liked it, then I saw the finished version and I didn't liked it and now I saw this pic and I like it.

Why do albums come out early in Hong Kong? Isn't this a little stupid?

I've been wondering whether kerbeross guy bought was the Overseas version or japan version or was it the 1st press edition?
as I may recall..(what I read from the official website) said that...you will get the photobooks (both for CD+DVD/CD Only) if you pre-ordered first from yesasia.com or any other online stores....

ehmm...can anybody explain to me?
I'm really excited if the OS version also can get the photobooks as well!

The shop is located at Mongkok, one of the shopping arcade called "Sino" & the shop is at the Basement, very easy to find, but the price marked up a lot before the official release date :headache & so I wait till 1 Jan 06.

Yes...hahaha...but I'm afraid that they will not open on 1/1 2006 coz it's official holiday that day...I really wanna get both of them earlier...on about 30 or 31/12...Will the prices get back to normal on those two days??

The shops won't close on 1/1/2006 but I just wondering whether it could be despatched on that date that's my concern. But anyway I did ordered mine & I think I might get that on 1/1 or 2/1 :D Excited !

Also I don't think the price would lowered down before 1/1/06 :irked just wait

the 1st one to be saled in hK is the japan version (original)... HK always got a priority 1st :) then... 1-2 weeks later HK released the Overseas version.. I doubt the overseas will have.... >.<

i'm so excited now to get my own copy!

Question, are the photobooks going to be as big as that one picture is? Someone asked this before, but nobody really said anything about it. If so, THAT'S FREAKING AWESOME! I pray to GOD either way that I get first press from CD Japan. When I ordered from them, it said that First Press was availible, do you think I'll still get it?

actually if you look carefully, that picture on the left page of the booklet occupies some space on the right page. That's why the picture at the right hand side is rectangular. So that means... the booklet is not rectangular :P

They're not releasing faster than Japan doing,actually you should say HK and Japan get the releases at the same time.
The album was on sale in Japan at silent nite(24/12 2005) and shipped to HK on the same day.
We call them "Water goods",they will be more expensive than the normal goods....

I've noticed yeasterday that CDjapan sold out first press edition of CD only version. There wasn't necessarity to hurry up with order because OS versions contain photobooks too and what's the best other versions of japanese release will contain photobooks too :innocent

do u know where in hk stock these japanese cds other than hmv can get it?

uhm..can i ask how much of a difference are the prices of the japan version and overseas version???

I could tell u what's the different for instance of YesAsia:
Japanese albums cost half more expensively than overseas. For ex.:
MY STORY (CD only)
- JPN - US$29.75 <-- expensive
- HK/TW OS - US$17.99 <-- cheap
- Korean OS - US$12.99 <-- cheaper (less than half of JPN price)

I've personally seen the CD in the shops of Mongkok yesterday, i'm also sorry to tell you guys that the covers indeed look grainy, lol......
but the package is simply amazing and is exactly the same as the pics in this thread!

You're right, I thought it would be more logical that the CD+DVD version was going to ran out faster but *honestly* the photobook with the best cover is the CD only one, as they say, you can't judge a book by it's cover... I was starting to get greedy and wanted both versions just for the photobooks but I should use that money to buy other stuff, and let's hope that all of the OS versions include the photobook and not only as a first press, that it will always come like this, there are still websites where they sell the OS versions of MY STORY with the 4 different covers. :yes

Besides, don't worry too much, I remember when they uploaded the preorder for the Kill Bill Volume 2 Premium Box, in a few hours there wasn't more available, but by next day they had more and more and they still carry the Premium Box (unfortunately the don't carry Vol. 1 Premium Box anymore :( )

i havent been to the shops yet, but i think this is the japanese version as the OS version is released after the japanese version

I don't care about first press because for me it's not much difference is this fp or not. I care only to photobooks was in there :yes

Also I think CD only was sold out first because both album cover as photo-book cover was better and photo-book looks more interesting in all (at least for me). I think some ppls bought it also because of lower price then CD+DVD have and they'll order CD+DVD when OS will be available.

I just checked CDJapan, and they've only got four copies of CD+DVD first press left, and CD-only still has first press, though they don't tell how many copies.

Also, what was I am...'s first press? =x

as for OS version of the album, I couldn't wait any longer so both cd and cd+dvd (pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~.ver) are coming to me already...
