The 3 tracks in MY STORY
 

I came up with this thread as I find similar trends in other forums.
I wonder if there are any one of you who would skip the 3 tracks(Liar, HOPE or PAIN, HAPPY ENDING) in MY STORY every time when you play the CD, i just don't like them at all. They are just too plain to be ayu's songs. But, i have to admit they do have great lyrics

.. No. They're three of the best songs on the album. winding road is horrible and so is Replace. I find myself skipping them more than anything.

OMG! Liar, HOPE or PAIN and Happy ending are great tracks O_O They fit so well with eachother and have great emotion. They may not be single-quality, but they are probably as good as you can get for album tracks. I always see them as a trilogy :)

Yeah i love those 3 songs as well... i skip Honey, Winding Road, & Humming 7/4 the most.

hope & pain is awesomely emotional! i always skip replace and sometimes honey too

I love HONEY. n_n How upbeat and light and pop-style it is. She sounds so adorable when she says "My honeyyy..." before the chorus. :laugh

I only listen to the hits in the album thou (About You, GAME, my name's WOMEN, Moments, walking proud, Carols, Inspire)...Sometimes i listen to all..Im pleased with the album

I personally skip 'Liar' , 'Replace' and 'Humming 7/4'

Well, HAPPY ENDING is my favorite new song off MY STORY, so I can't possibly skip it! Sometimes I skip Liar, and I often skip HOPE or PAIN. The songs I almost always skip are walking proud and Replace.

Liar is one of my least favorite Ayu songs...it's right up there with Greatful Days. And that's bad. It's just...boring. I also don't like winding road very much (lyrically I like it, but not musically). I was really upset when she sang that instead of Who... when I went to CDL 2004-2005. :(

I'd skip Liar and HOPE or PAIN but HAPPY ENDING has a new place in my heart and i'm giving it eh......another 2 months...

I don't really care for Liar, but HOPE or PAIN is an AMAZING SONG! I absoluetly love the chorus. I used to hate HAPPY ENDING but once I saw it performed in Arena Tour 2005 I fell in love with it :D

i will skip Liar and HOPE or PAIN... cos they were there jus for the sake of being there.. i started listening to HAPPY ENDING after the arena tour 2005..

How can you say any particular song is there just to be ... there?

I dunno.. I feel myself that I dont like all the ballads in MY STORY.... they are just..... tooooo..... boring.... >.< I just like the fast-track ones :) I skip ALL THE BALLADS :P :P

Those are the only 3 songs I like.

Although I believe every track is on there for a reason, I often skip replace and winding road...

I like Honey...its one of Ayus more upbeat songs, and it uplifts my spirit, and theres only a few of her songs that do that.

well cos for me, i feel that these 2 songs are badly arranged.. oh dear.. i forgot how they sound like already..:no

im quilty in skipping those 3 tracks often too ._.

I think they're rather good tracks. As with many, yup, these 3 songs are frequently viewed together! HAPPY ENDING got super great ratings from everyone I suppose after Arena Tour 2005. Well, the same for me too! I think Liar and HOPE or PAIN are great emotional ballads too. The only thing is that it's lacking pretty much in melody and there's more percussion. If that could be improved I'm sure they'll be single-worthy.

Hm... I really enjoy listening to HOPE or PAIN, also Happy ending (after seeing it on MY STORY tour). But Liar is the song I skip at times. Although I like it:)

At first I kept skipping them, but now I love them (save for HOPE or PAIN but it's an ok track).

I always stop at HONEY. I don't like the last 3 tracks very much. :(

i skip those tracks a lot too...i mean, they are ok, but they just don't grab me for some reason.

I kinda skip Liar, but only because i'm too lazy to relisten to know what it sounds like xD but i think i love it to death :O...i like Hope or Pain more than Happy Ending.....but i just doon't liiike replace and winding road D: ...ewww!!

I really like Happy Ending, Liar is ok, I rarely skip it. HOPE or PAIN.. I love it on MY STORY Classical, but I sometimes skip it while listening MY STORY. I Skip walking proud and Honey much more often though. I kind of like the trio "Liar-Hope or Pain-Happy Ending"

I adored Honey, but I will admit that I often stop the album before Humming 7/4, cause after the entire thing, I just find myself lacking the energy to sit through another bouncy rock song; winding road closes it just fine.

Liar is one of my fave at the album so surely I'm not skipping this track. However I'm almost always skipping HOPE or PAIN and HAPPY ENDING - it's not because they aren't good songs - they have great lyrics (especially HAPPY ENDING) but they r little boring for me and I don't have mood to listening them often. I'm also skipping HONEY, Replace and winding road - because especially 2 last r not to consumption for me :rolleyes

I think those 3 songs are like the best on MY STORY o_o

Mmh... sometimes yes, I do skip some songs when listening to Ayu's CD's, but it's when I'm wiling to hear just dynamic rhythms... sometimes I feel just like listening to ballads and skip some songs...

But not in this case, I love HOPE or PAIN, and HAPPY ENDING and like Liar.
I've always thought of this three songs which come after WONDERLAND as the bridge of reminiscence and sighs on My Story along with walking proud, Moments and CAROLS (everything before Kaleidoscope, then ther'es another change).

I didn't like listening to "MY STORY" at first... but then after giving the album a couple more listens the songs grew on me. XD I like all the tracks.

I sometimes skip Liar and Hope and Pain, but NEVER Happy Ending. It's my favorite song of the album.

omg I love Hope or Pain!! XD I don't ever skip that one, but I do tend to skip Liar a lot. I like Happy Ending a lot more since the MY Story tour but I still think Hope or Pain is better. I skip Honey, Replace, and Winding Road quite a bit too, I tend to go from Inspire right to Humming 7/4! ^_^ But even though I listen to some songs more than others, when it comes down to it I still like all of the songs on the album :)

you're absolutetly right....every time when i play the CD, i skip the 3 tracks
for me are the worst of the album (with huming 7/4/1/-00)

and HAPPY ENDING.... break my ears with that tones!

that's so weird... I skipped over those 3 all the time... but no I like them more... I kinda skipped replace and honey alot after I like the first 3... but now they are all good.. :)
