BRAVO! i THINK that it MIGHT be released in LateMay/Early June and maybe perform it for her encore in her Arena Tour who knows...Or even July because it is an upbeat song...

It will be the theme for the Japanese team.

If its for Torino, we should be hearing it very soon. Panasonic is also a sponser of the Winter Olympics, so I'm sure thay are going to release a bunch fo new CMs with the new song! (Remember, the amount of Panasonic CMs with Daybreak for the Nagano Olympics in 2002?!) :luv2

ayu's song is for NTV's Olympics programs while Koda Kumi has done a Torino Olympics song for Fuji television.

Different television stations choose different artists to sing "their" theme song for the Olympics.

The official Olympics song this year is called Livin' In My City by Eiffel 65 (which is a very cool song, btw). It would be an even more exciting to get an Ayu Olympics theme too.

so there two tie-ups, if this is true.. 1 tied up to a late-january release, and another one to a february release.. only logical outcome.... it's gonna be a february single: Startin' / Born to Be... . If it's true...GREAT :D

If it is released in February, then it'll be good competition. Koda's last of the 12 singles is released in Feb. 22, Utada's Keep Tryin' single is also gonna be released the same day too. And I think HYDE and Mika are gonna release a single that day as well. It'll be some major competition. :lech

Will all respect to the artists, but Utada's single and Koda's single are gonna fail bad (even if they are good. and I think they are :D). Even a weak single as Bold&Delicious/Pride has been double as good as most koda's singles (especialy after 11 singles it'll be weak) and utada's latest releases.

well, true or not, i don't think ayu's new single will be out till around march 15 or so. i really don't think it'd be released in february with no word of it yet.

If it will be released in Feb it'll be rather late imo.

Well I previewed HYDE/Mika/Utada & Koda's songs and all seem fairly strong except Koda Kumi's. Although a fan, I was dissapointed with the song since the cover was my favorite one out of the twelve.

Anyways, I think a new single will be out in maybe April. Ayu has a tour coming up and the album is still rather new. If it is called "Born to be.." then I will be looking foward to it.

Yeah, I'm expecting a March/April single release for Startin' and whatever song.

Fly high was catchy, fast and extremely danceable and likeable, but still really simple (melody and arrangement, using classic dance elements) and beautiful (The AOV is perfect!) . It always makes me so happy! It swept me away like few other songs has done.

fairyland on the other hand, was a bit too slow, a bit too long and had a more nostalgic feel to it. The song is ok, I never disliked it, but it was something in between dance and pop, like nothing. :shakehead It was like angel's song on valium.

I hope it's a first of all FAST song and energetic.

No matter what it's supposed to be like we're sure to be surprised I guess, Bold&Delicious was said to be an upbeat and fun song like..... Step you. :P
