Yes, they have a really awkward title, but they're one of the few male Japanese groups/artists that I actually like. I love their music and the singer's voice sounds different from the majority of Japanese male singers I've heard.

So, I hope they're popular enough to have their own thread. I didn't type in the other one because like Annabelle pointed out, it's a really old thread.

I know these threads usually start off with some upcoming release, but I don't know of any upcoming music yet. They're latest single is 'Yo bailo/DON'T CALL ME CRAZY' and I love 'Yo bailo'! The other A-side is pretty good and so is the B-side.

I think 'Mr. Children' is a more disturbing band title actually...

Not a big fan of them at all, though about the vocals, if you check out some late 80s/early 90s J-pop, alot of male artists sounds from then like that.

You might like bands like 'Mr Children', 'SPITZ' and 'the pillows', perhaps you can check them out.

Does anyone know if 'THUMPx' (Their latest album) is any good? I like the singles but I'm wondering about the album tracks. One track is called "We Love Us". Wow. o_o;

yay~ an actual thread for this band--and the only male JPOP band that i like (despite their disturbing name)! the lead singer sounds so good.

I'm not much into J-Rock but I enjoy their music a lot. My favourites are INNERVISIONS, Ageha chou and Saboten. Oh and their Kouhaku performance was amazing. <3

I definately recommend one of my few J-Rock favourites, Spitz, if you like their music style. Masamune's vocals are gorgeous.

Well that's how you'd directly romanize the title, but it really stands for "Yo bailo", which is Spanish for "I dance".

And an interesting thing is that they actually spell their name "Porno Graffitti" with two t's in "Graffitti", even though that's the wrong spelling. :P

@BanFan: their last album THUMPx is great, I bought it immediately and it's one of my favourites.
The song 'we love us' is a bit strange, but not actually bad...xD

I don't know many of their songs, but I definitely like "Don't Call Me Crazy" :) I also like their song "Tasogare Romance". :)

Oh yeah, Porno Graffiti! :) They sang for Full Metal Alchemist, one of my fav anime. That song was alright, but I really liked the song they sang at the last Kouhaku. I just can't remember what it was called :headache I may have to look it up. That was a great song ^_^

I was looking through their wikipedia page, and it looks like they already released 2 best albums last year in October.
