the most emotional part in ayu's songs
I Wonder if I'm only the one here who felt really emotional in the last part of fairyland...I mean the song..."are kara dono kurai.....", notice that this last chorus part ayu sang higher and if we connect a bit to the PV and think of something emotional...or we feel really emotional oueselves...you'll got my explanation...I feel like.....OMG.....this part is so emotional.
so about other songs of ayu which do you think has the most emtional part? HEAVEN~the 1st chorus of "sobani ite aisuru hito..." the slower one...tha's really sad |
I kinda get what you mean..
It really hit me when i watched the PV though.. I was like...hmm..-songs gets scary and dark- me: o_o?; -curtain gets caught on fire, me: O_O!; -building burns down, ayu looks sad- :weep Yeah... when that fire started i was literally 'O_O' btw.. very suprising.. Heaven as well... Ayu just has a way like that, i guess~ |
yes.. fairyland look like a happy pv in the beginning but turn to be a nightmare rather than fairyland....so sad,so sad....
|
i feel that HEAVEN's last chorus starting '' ai suru hito watashi no naka de''.. its very emotional and dramatic!
|
Actually, most of her songs get really dramatic towards the end when she starts singing the chorus for the last time. It gets really uplifting or really emotional.
And it's even better when it comes to lives. |
the second Chorus of HEAVEN is very sad .. when the Sobani ite was played slower ... i think thats the part they used in the movie trailer when the cast names appeared :(
|
The last chorus of End roll is the saddest part.
At the end of GAME, where she sings: "Itte kitto...", etc. It's like she's pleading with us. In Dolls, around 4:06, after the interlude and single chorus, there's just so much sadness in her voice. The chorus after the interlude in WHATEVER... I guess it's the lyrics mostly. "I want to bathe in warm sunlight". And of course, combined with the outcome of the PV... The english background lyrics in kanariya really get to me (I know it sounds stupid). The last chorus of Free & Easy: zutto mamotte iku yo sono mune ni kakaeta mono o kesshite nakushite shimau koto no nai you ni Key ~eternal tie ver.~ dakara mou nakanakute ii yo kiyou ni wa tsutaerarenai... keredo... and the closing part: kore kara zutto... In the middle of walking proud, (the part in the PV where the kid says "Want candy?", the melody there really gets to me...) July 1st, during the single chorus... Kimi ni ageru.... that's the climax. SURREAL... La la la lai.... etc. That part's the best. Over - when she cries, "It's over..." and goes into the chorus at the end. I find H/\L's version of ever free sadder than the original mix. Very difficult to explain this, but when she hits those high notes, it's almost as if she's trying to break through the sadness of the music with her voice, but just can't. |
The emotional parts that get to me in Ayu's songs are in Dearest and No Way to Say. But then again, those two songs also have very sentimental value for me.
|
Same goes for the last times she sing sthe chorus of Moments. (from when the drums "reenters the song" =P )
Or the first time the chorus appears in "M".... :( |
for me, it would be in the concert, when ayu start to cry, then i would feel like crying too. her voice sound so sad when she singing and sobbing. then, i would start to like that song even more.
|
Hanabi Ep ll
The part from Kono omoi yo... woah.. very emotional.. Dearest The last chorus. ): |
I get the most emotional durings these parts of these songs
HEAVEN - the 30 seconds before the last 30 fairyland - the first minute ever free - most of the song, more towards the beginning Daybreak (H/\L's Mix 2002) - the whole song RAINBOW - the last minute, when she sings the english Who... - the end part without words, but singing that's all I can think of haha. |
i get really emotional when i listen to heaven and who.
|

HEAVEN: the last few words
CAROLS: the bridge Dearest:The soft chorus of Dearest * in the Pv, its the part when the guy trips her bodyguard and she appears in the windmill field* Endless Sorrow: opening music Memorial Address: the last few words about her father leaving only being a dream but its actually reality. Wishing: the last part of the chorus POWDER SNOW -acoustic orchestra version-:the whole song *lol* vogue: the ha lalala part at the end Far away: the part after the first words. the instrumental part. Ever Free: the chorus Duty: the last line of the chorus. she sounds so strong. I Am: the voice-effect chorus at the end NEVER EVER: the "nee koko ni" sounds so sad. *at the end* LOVE~destiny~: the "wasurenai'" parts LOVE~refrain~ : the arigatou ga parts. |
Yeah!! I agree Ayu singing at the end of fairyland really touches my heart. The Heaven chorus is really subtle and pretty too. I also like the Free & Easy chorus. "Anata no koe ga..." so sudden, powerful, and angsty!
|
i guess i already posted but whatever;
i think the best are: "oshiete kureta yo" last chorus of fairyland "kokkei desu ka? waraaaaaaaaaattte yooooo" I am... LIVE from AT '02 "kiiiiiiiiiiiimii ni moshi" of Endless sorrow "wasureenaideeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....h" last chorus of Daybreak "H/\L's Mix 2002" "utsukuushiku chireeeeeeeee..." + the "lalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...." last line of HANABI ~episode II~ ohhh the emotions! |
I think the last few lines of HEAVEN are very emotional~ <3
|
The middle of HEAVEN after the chorus. That part is the best, it makes HEAVEN. All the beautiful oriental-styled instruments and her vocals soaring.
And yes, the final chorus of fairyland with the different key. It was beautiful. The bridge from Carols. Or maybe Yuki no Hana, I don't really remember for some reason. o_o The opening "la la la" parts from Moments. The guitars in Moments really creates the emotional feel, it's so amazing. The opening of Far Away after the "atarashiku" bit, no vocals were in it. That song's music rules. The verse of Memorial Address. It's BEAUTIFUL. Made me love the song. EDIT: Yes, the Carols bridge. *phew* I totally forgot the song after I thought of Yuki no Hana and HEAVEN... :dead2 |
The girl in the middle of your signature makes me think of like, a hairy dog.
HEAVEN is definitely one of the most emotional songs of recent years.. another would be like.. Memorial address. :D |
I'll keeeeelllll you. That's Anchal. She's a goddess.
|
the part in HEAVEN that she says "sayonara na..." (the last part)
its like... she's left behind or something and because the song ended... |
SURREAL: "La la la- In a nonexistent place / I stand as I am..."
I remember listening to this at Denmark when I was walking around empty beach at night... made me even more connected to this part. One of my fav songs anyway. That must be the most memorable to me. There are also others, like the ending of Pride, A Song For XX (especially live) and Memorial Address, but this is the one I wanted to highlight. |
Liar, chorus.
Moments, chorus, AT05. walking proud, chorus, AT05. And lots more. |
?! Do people just like post the Japanese lyrics and expect us to automatically know what they mean or something?
Anyway. "BO-O-O-OLLLLLLD, DELICIOUS!" Hey, emotional doesn't have to just mean sad, right? Although the opening of I am... where she screams her %#$!@# lungs out at the end.... a bit irritating but still emotional. I love how her voice gets all raspy. |
*cough* The very last few verses in A Song for XX before the horrid la la's. Also, the first time the chorus is sung in Memorial address.
And what the hell is that down there? o__o; Japanese lyrics going insane, I think. |
Wow, there's a lot, but Pride and Endless sorrow are the first to come to mind.
|
Spoiler:
:D |
Because of You: The very last line "Kimi ja nakya dame de" where there's no back up just ayu's voice
RAINBOW: The "No rain, can't get the rainbow" part Memorial address: The whole song is so sad but particularly the second chours with the guitar and everything is so sad and the little bit where she goes "la la la la la yeah yeah yeah". You can hear the sadness in her voice A Song for XX: The "la la laaaaa's" at the end and the bit when she sings live where she adds the last bit that wasn't in the original recording Voyage & HANABI: The little music box intros just make me sad |
When Ayu pauses in Rainy Day....touching.
|
ALLLL of her songs have their emotional climaxes-- that's what makes her so great :)
One of my many favorites is a part from "no more words" at the very end. I love that entire song, but I feel like the ending is so like-- hopeful. |
I love the parts when the music gets soft and she is still singing..that is really emotional ^^
|
I like the last 2 choruses in "Dearest". Her voice is so calm and then gets strong towards the end. You can really feel her. And then the ""lalala" at the end makes it even more emotional and meaningful. I love that song so much and cry whenever I hear it.
Oh and I know some people say her voice sounds nasal sometimes. Her voice kinda wavers, I guess, and I kinda like that, especially for some of her ballads. |
